We're working on the issues with the MySQL errors. One of our databases has an error in it. Unfortunately it's our fastest, so taking it offline and leaving the others online is the last thing we want to do. We're trying to resolve this with minimal down time.

It being a free service does not mean we should accept major site failure.

I hope that this will solve all of the problems going on around here.

I've been having problems with my profile. It won't update the changes I make to it all the time. Sometimes the changes will appear and other times they won't and things that I may have moved or deleted are still there. I hope that this was one of the problems and that it will be fixed. ^^

I know that that has also been happening in clubs. One minute it'll say that there's 905 members and the next minute it'll say there's only 891. XD

The phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind, actually.
If you want it to work better, use the "Donate" link at the bottom of the page. That might help them get things fixed more easily.

This. I'd rather you too it offline for a few days and sorted out all these problems rather than fixing one then letting something else fail.

A person using a site is enough donations in itself. I may sound like a douchebag but it's the cold hard truth. Don't be all sentimental about it.

I vote - Take it down. Is better to take it down now and fix things, then to deal with the increasingly growing problems we're having now.

Someone needs to be. Just because it's free doesn't mean it can be tossed aside, especially with how many people use this site. I don't know what Xinil does in his daily life, but keeping this site working well ought to be a priority. Not his top priority, of course, but a priority nonetheless. And with how long these problems have lasted without any word until now I worry about these things.

Remember, the success of a site depends on its users, the people who visit it. It's simple customer competition, just like in the real world.

How is this site free? It has advertisements, its owners make money off its users.

If you see advertisements and click them, I'd say you have all the right to complain. If you block them like myself, you should keep silent.

I don't see how this announcement helps in any way other than treating users like idiots (and most of them seem to fall into the marketing trap). It was known before that there were SQL errors, the only 'new' info is the ridiculous excuse with the "fast server".

Thanks for the update Xinil.

I for one wouldn't mind if you take it down to fix things. I'd rather it be offline for a few days then have to deal with new glitches. I'm pretty sure everyone here can live without MAL for a few days. I can.

Thanks for the update.

I agree with taking down the server for a day or two and getting every issue resolved. Or, hell, even the site if you need to. It's better to get it all solved at once and test it rather than keep it up and fix it and have to deal with any new problems that could arise.
