There's a good chance we're getting a third type of fusion later on in the story. We have fusion dance fusion, potara fusion, and maybe fusion bug fusion

I just need Piccolo and Vegeta to hurry up. I'll bet they don't even make it to the demon realm until halfway through the show.

Made me think of that dodan ray assassin mercenary loser (he threw pillars or trees then jumped on them to fly great distances)

Love it, such nice combat. Brings me back to Goku taking out the Red Ribbon Army. Goku being a Jedi here using his light-saber to send their magic blasts back hahaha.
After episode 1, I gave a pre-emptive 6/10 because ruins what was DBZ, DBS, and such. But this is really nice when ignore the continuity issues. Of course Goku wants to fight the guardians, I doubt he can do it without Vegeta's help. We got Bulma, Chibi Demon Realm edition. So far she seems less intelligent but more caring for others. Pilaf 2.0 makes Dabura seem like was a decent ruler.

@LilyVarbik for sure reminded me of Mercenary Tao too, surprised Goku didn't make a comment of it actually!

@JVskunkape Same, while at the same time, he has hard time remembering people a lot of the time (main 2 that come to mind (likely much more) is how he forgot that little robot girl from another anime, and forgot his wife (both took a hot minute to remember after them blatantly elaborating))

@LilyVarbik lol, Chichi did look pretty dramatically different! (even moreso than Goku himself), and think it was more not recognising her! He did remember her once he made the connection!

He remembers Tao at least when we see him as Cyborg Tao!

OR WAS IT?! Honestly maybe they intentionally left out so new viewers wouldn't feel like missed something, but old viewers would know.
Daima feels very "original" while keeping to it's roots. I think it's meant to be a little more new viewer friendly. Maybe...

More demon realm exploration! I like how they explain a lot of questions you might have as a viewer because I was really wondering why they wouldn’t just fly to wherever the destination was, but the air in the demon realm being heavy creates a unique obstacle. That’ll also make fighting more difficult for Goku too until he gets used to it so he’ll need to move sparingly

The bug shop was pretty neat. Fusion bugs got me wondering if we’ll see a kid vegito at some point? Glorio talking the shop owner down on his prices was pretty funny, all of a sudden bro can hear perfectly fine when Glorio threatened to walk out lmao

The Tamagami guarding the dragon balls in the demon realm sound like they’ll be tough and of course Goku childish ass just thinking of the next battle and how fun it’ll be to fight them lmao. He might just get his wish, literally and figuratively since they will likely need those dragon balls

Looks like Gomah has become a proper tyrant already, taking 3 years of life per gold coin that an already poor population can’t play is beyond messed up. But I feel like he’s doing that intentionally for a weapon maybe? Good thing our unidentified hero showed up, can’t wait to learn more about her next ep!

Little Goku's choreographed fights with his magic staff are very good

another episode that annoyed me. i think i realized what was toei's and toryama idea with this series. i think they first wanted to make it as a movie, then they thought maybe a web anime, and eventually they decided to stretch the story they got as much as possible and it really shows. this show is the definition of a time waster anime, where episodes just stretch and stretch with pointless scenes, pointless characters, pointless exposition and so on.

what was the point of the first half of this episode? to get to that house so goku could just tell jokes. meet this old man and his wife for the exposition of the healing and fusion bugs that would be probably used later just to get on a stick that dosent even fly anyway just so they can ditch it after 10 min of trying to get it. ho yeha, a giant monster and a troll has to show up because why not?

its not like we have a character that can destroy entire galaxies. let try to rehash dragon ball nostalgia! by the way that flower the flew it was probably a refrence to the pillar tao pai pai used in dragon ball. anyway, that entire first half was POINTLESS. why should i care about this old man and his wife if i wont even see them again? the second half of the episode was ok but then its just ended because the first half wasted all our time, and now yet another week to wait for another time waster. i'm convinced it was suppose to be a movie. it feels like a movie recaped and stretched into a series. yeah goku and the power pole was a cool fight scene but seriously couldent you introduce pansy earlier? why do we need to hear YET AGAIN about those tamagami's? SHOW DO NOT TELL! and yet they keep flooding us with exposition about stuff in the demon realm. its so tedious. like litterly that show is the black star dragon saga all over again, i swear. same poor comedy, same boring episodes with nothing happening that just stretch and stretch and stretch. my god is that show boring as hell

I like how Daima has a different atmosphere and isn't just a 1:1 copy of Earth. Unlike other planets in the series like Namek which didn't have anything distinctive to make it truly feel "alien" beyond just the looks. Unless there was something and I just forgot about it.

With how they're reintroducing or explaining things like Ki and Senzu beans, it really does feel like this show's very newcomer-friendly. Good for the kids who're growing up with this show I guess.

Seems like Goku and the others are refocusing their efforts on finding the Dragon Balls instead of doing what they were previously going to do. After all, that's what the series is about. Gotta find them Dragon Balls! But man, knowing that they have to go back to where they came from and go in the opposite direction just feels like a huge punch in the gut... Going back after realizing you've been going in the wrong direction for a long time feels awful...

Finally, new character is introduced. Tho we don't know her name yet. The fight scene with Goku's power pole was great. I love how every episode has good fight scenes. Even the ones that would be considered low priority still look very good.
