| Everyone faces off against perfect replicas, truly a challenging exam... I know there might be some complaints about this arc being very "battle-shounen-like", but besides the excellent action scenes, the world-building and exploration have been very solid. The highlight of the episode for me was probably Übel and Land's scene together, as their dynamic remains a joy to watch with how they trust each other to do certain things. Fighting against replicas of the characters is quite a unique test for everyone, and with Fern thinking she can kill the Frieren clone, this should be an interesting battle, and I hope it's as epic as other fights in the series so far. |

| Raaah what an episode man. Felt like it went by in 30 seconds. As usual, perfect blend of action and dialogue. There’s never a dull moment in this series, the pacing is perfect, it’s just a rare breed. The POV scenes during the Ubel fight are INSANE. UFO probably takes the cake for sustained fight scenes I.e salter Medusa, but in terms of the short bursts, Madhouse might have them matched. Got chills during that entire sequence. I LOVE how Übel wears the same face throughout every moment. She’s so unbothered lol. We need more of she and four eyes interacting. Edel saw that shit the sense clone was on and just dipped out, she smart as hell for that lmao. Can always run it back again next exam or something. Fern getting jealous over Methode hugging Frieren was so cute. She’s so protective of her master. Denken and the others waiting to come up with a plan to take on the Frieren clone is smart. Easily the strongest opponent possible so no such thing as being too careful. “I may be able to kill Frieren” it would be so funny if the way to stop her is with a mimic 😂. Regardless, Fern masterclass on the way next week and I can’t wait. The student becomes the master n all that. |

| So this is why Sense isnt going down alone either I assume. I expected Fern to handle this, Frieren already said a while ago she casts magic so fast she could defeat her. Animation is insanely good. Madhouse really is back. |

In what world is Fern set to surpass Frieren? Just on mana alone Fern could never come even close to Frieren. Sure she'll probably become the greatest human mage of her age but that won't come close to Frieren.

| So hyped expecting an all out war against Clone Frieren this episode but instead got buildup, Denken's group running away like rats and Frieren being hugged by onee-san Mage (Sein punching air right now). Still an enjoyable episode tho. And here I was expecting Sense's clone to be a pacifist as well. Lol nope. |

| Fern is going in for the kill. Gotta love how she's stepping up Frieren looked so proud of her. I also love how Fern perked up when she saw the ancient ruins that Frieren found. Maybe she love to be an archeologist discovering ancient ruins with an ancient elf sounds like a great time. Hilarious that Frieren is exciting about fighting herself, she's finally found a worthy opponent. It was also cool seeing the other teams battle with themselves or other mirror people. So glad we have 4 more episodes to go. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
