Honestly great episode, tension and hype is back yay.
I also appreciate the power levels so millim and veldora are still much stronger than rimiru and he just didn't overtake them cos main character power.

After all those buildups and hypes, this is where the fun begins.
I guess the last 2 episodes will be the peak of this season, can't wait for them already because this is what I've been waiting for since Part 1

I should've play "Cornered" in the background during the first part of the episode. Also, finally there was some decent action going on in Walpurgis, although there was still too much talking to my taste when Beretta was about to enter the arena. I didn't expect Veldora to show up out of nowhere.

I didn't think that Clayman had it in him to piss me off even more, but somehow he managed it. It's so ironic that he is accusing Rimuru of trickery and all kinds of other claims, while he himself is tricking Milim in front of all the other Demon Lords. He's such scum.

Tense episode and just what I wanted to see after a lot of build up in the first half of this season. Veldora came in clutch at the end there. Most satisfying moment comes from Shion absolutely destroying Clayman.

Honestly, I think Clayman isn't at the level of a Demon Lord, but rather a fraud who has reached this position with his trickery and deception. When Shion hit him, it gave me great relief. What a great psychological comfort.
And don't forget the appearance of Veldora, this really got me excited for the next episode.

I wonder if Veldora gonna smurf on them kids. I don't see how Clay man can win it. Best part of op characters is when they show other how op they are. By far the best anime of the season.

After all of his showboating and trickery, it was very, VERY pleasing to see Shion do what everyone wanted to do and slug the living crap out of Clayman. To also do it in a style that JoJo fans would approve just makes this scene even more satisfying! XD

To sum up, this episode was amazing. The tension was very thick during the Walpurgis banquet and it inevitably led to a fight between Rimuru and Clayman. Despite being a lot stronger now to his new powers, Rimuru was still having a hard time against Milim and he was on the verge of losing, but Veldora came in to save him, but the way he was complaining of the pain afterwards made me laugh out loud. =3

The animation quality was really good, too, as some segments of the fighting was super smooth and fluid. Hopefully we'll get to see more of that next week now that Veldora has made his appearance at the Walpurgis banquet.

Oooo Raphael implying Milims not actually being controlled. Curious as to what milims actual plan is and how we gonna deal with that from here

Gotta love how the other demon lords could not care less about clayman’s speel

Also another primordial noir reference. I wonder when rimurus is finally gonna realize who Diablo is

And later Veldora appeared out of nowhere, I wonder how he got there and I also wondered why didn't Veldora get bloody-damage from a powerful trap punch of Milim?! I got a guess of how Veldora got inside that barrier that shouldn't even be allowed for others to go inside if they don't have a permission from Guy.

And many other wondering about how Veldora got there.

Easy, when Rimuru got Veldora out of his seal, he earned the "Veldora" unique skill to summon him anytime needed. Raphael most definitely triggered that skill on her own as death was nearing!

didnt expect them to start a fight here, so that was nice. Clayman sure must look pretty pathetic to the other demon lords.

I never considered Beretta anything special but apparently there is more to that? I wonder who "the stronger one" is supposed to be, Veldora probably doesnt count, Benimaru? Diablo?

I guess they will break Milims mind control and she will be the one to finish of clayman. For some reason I dont expect this show to actually show him die but they also killed tons of soldiers so lets see.

Awesome episode! I'm amazed that Shion endured so much o Clayman's bullshitting talk before punching him so hard. The entire battle in the episode was so amazing and intense, much more greater than in shounen anime. Veldora appearing out of nowhere and getting hit in the head by Milim's punch was quite funny. I wonder now how the other Demon Lords will react to Veldora's appearance. Looking forward to next week's episode.

And in this episode, Clayman proved he's not even a good schemer. Dude freakin' stutters when faced with some expected questions. Felt good when this villain with weak writing gets punched the hell out of him by a hero with weak writing.
My theory stays, Milim is acting and she's just having fun with her friend now. Guy knows Milim more than Gayman knows her. Frey too ain't obviously on Mehman's side, she seems like an actual schemer.
Veldora intrusion was great. Also liked when Rimuru freaked out on being "outnumbered". I guess Beretta vs General Grievous will be the matchup. I still don't get what Layman actually does to control someone. Was hoping for a good debate, where Rimuru corners him with the salaryman swag. Wasted potential!

You know the episode is gonna be hype when there is no op, still felt like the shortest episode yet.
Clayman presented such pathetic arguments, basically begging the others to help him.

Veldora seemed like he wasn't aware he got teleported, perhaps it was the work of Raphael or someone else?

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed that Rimuru couldn't take Milim on his own… Didn't he evolve last season into something even more powerful ? What was all that waiting we had in last season for then? Only to get a useless Raphael? Lmao.

Now Veldora comes out of nowhere and gets smashed with a powerful fist from Milim, and it barely scratches his head. I like that Veldora is strong, but isn't Rimuru the protagonist ? I expected a nice fight with Rimuru actually breaking Clayman's spell while making everyone drop their jaws to his power… Instead, we got a fist fight between two of the most powerful Demon Lords…

I don't dislike the anime for this and I'm waiting for the next episode, just wanted things to go another way, anyway, 2v1, let's see what happens :)

They didn't do a very good job at making Clayman seem really evil. After Rimuru has Shion attack him, he just seems super insignificant and not worthy of a final fight, like couldn't Rimuru just instantly kill him? Funny how they spend all that time on boring dialog in the first half of the season then just randomly say "his speech was really long, TL;DR". No one else is allowed in the battle... except everyone who asks or is teleported into the arena.

Great episode as always. This episode kinda feels like 10 minutes (same as other episodes though lol) even though there's no opening song. I've already read LN Volume 6, but I'm still excited while watching this EP.

At the end, Veldora took Milim's punch that could deal a great damage on Rimuru and it barely did anything to him judging from his reaction, proving that he is on par with or stronger than Rimuru.

so myb he altered the probability of milim hurting him to less than 1% or something

In my opinion, one of the best things about Slime’s fight scenes are the incredible sound effects. When a character does a strong attack the buildup before it hits gives me goosebumps and gets me exited. It feels vary satisfying whenever an attack reaches its target. Also, for some reason one of my favorite scenes in this episode was when Remeru told Clayman to shut up, finally someone said it. I swear I rewatched that scene like 5 times until I continued with the episode.

And just like that, everything Clayman had "meticulously" planned throughout this season crumbled to dust in mere seconds due to a lack of proof that Rimuru points out; a painfully obvious flaw of which was the final nail in the coffin for his character as a whole. Practically everything that he'd done prior to Walpurgis was undermined after this meeting, making him seem foolish and insignificant. I doubt very many people were able to take him seriously beforehand, but this sheer level of unpreparedness really makes you wonder how this clown was even considered a dangerous adversary to begin with...

Clayman: > Fabricates an elaborate story to accuse Rimuru and tarnish his reputation.
Rimuru: "Where's your proof?"
Clayman: "Uh, crap, I don't have any."
Rimuru: "Well that was easy."

Anyways, the action in the latter half of the episode was decent enough to alleviate most of my aforementioned disappointment. Although, personally, I would've preferred fewer cuts in-between in favor of unadulterated fight sequences, but then again, this is Tensei Slime we're talking about. Lastly, Veldora's appearance at the end surprised me. I'm not sure if I appreciate him stealing Rimuru's spotlight, but I guess nothing beats genuine camaraderie in the midst of intense battles.

Looks like this is where all the decent episodes were hiding.

The debate between Clayman and Rimuru wasn’t very interesting and never really mattered since they were going to fight to the death no matter what. I can actually say that the action between Milim and Rimuru was good for the short spurts we got between talking, and the rest of the action was solid too (excluding the magical beasts doing nothing on the side).

Guy’s reason for allowing Milim to fight but not Ramis was nonsensical, but that has to be because he is testing Rimuru. I don’t really like Veldora showing up at the end because that essentially becomes an auto-win, but we’ll see what they do with it.

Seeing Clayman all arguing and acting straight on the first part pretty annoying and mostly frustating. Ofc everyone didn't give one shit, even one guy fell into a good nap without even getting any slightly care, except that Milim move. Props to that giant tho, giving a little word in the midst of Clayman's bullshit. I fuckin pity. But, his preparation kinda be need an applause. Damn that Kitsune change, the sound effect give me a good bumps, ofc Ranga became big also a pleasure to see.

Finally the real interesting part happens when the battle has been commenced. Ofc it will be the duel between them, and Guy took some barriers to block any outside interference. Lol at Ranga and that golden fox part, when they both just taunting each others with their spells without giving a direct strike, looks like. Another interesting conversation happened when Beretta wanted to join the fights. Something's about the Primordial Black, and looks like there will be another meeting with him again in the future with Rimuru-sama.

Overall, this is an interesting part. Worthy enough to wait after 10 miserably weeks. Can't wait to see how everyone react with the arrival of Veldora. It will be a blast....

Very nice episode! Almost non-stop action and lots of info dump, so Guy is a Primordial Demon as well huh? As Beretta's speech betrayed him before stating her/his/it's own vague lineage which could mean she/he/it's with Diablo's line who is identified as Noir, they go with colors eh?

...and Veldora appeared in time to save him from Milim's fist! Come on Milim, snap out of Clayman's mind control funky necklace/spell! >_<
