Two episodes aired back to back today including the finale.

One thing I did find kinda interesting is that Erica still remember all the times she's been with Nagi, including their first encounter. Erica did have some health issues but her friends supported her. All in all, it was a fine episode. A lot of memories were made especially at seeing those photographs.

7/10, surprisingly enjoyable.

The back-to-back finale continues.

The birthday invitation sent as if like it was from a girl, but nope, it turns out to be Papa Yohei's birthday party filled with pure disco rock, and food that he exclusively makes on his special occasion...spending a day of the summer break on this, every year. No wonder both Nagi and Sachi felt so dead inside. The Umino family's shotgun marriage with Nagi being an unplanned pregnancy, and everything that came afterward has been nothing but fate and coincidence. Honestly, for Nagi's family to be supportive of their children, that's what they were like, and that's how the son is OK with them.

The joint study group goes like normal, until Erika suddenly faints due to a cold, and both Hiro and Sachi attempt to nurse her back to health. But asking a sick person to drink alcohol, or bringing one to an onsen...they've gone mad. Instead, Nagi doing a simple dish for Erika just proves that the decision to make them fiancées and engaged towards each other is a right one.

This series sure is messy and convoluted, though it's probably average to decent at best.

I’ll be honest the segment with Nagi’s family around is the only half decent thing to look forward to in this series. His parents are fun unlike him and his sister.

Though wow they went with an anime original end sort of, skipping 3 chapters ahead of 56 and then concluding things off on 60 without showing the potential appearance of a new character. That's a good thing honestly because the possibilities of any kind of sequel following this don't seem strong enough as now that they've already diverged from the source.

Series was a pain, but the finale sure concluded things decently.

Cant believe, i just wasted my time watching the most average harem show ever. One more unbelievable thing is that this manga is the same author that wrote Yamada-kun. Tbh, i expect better from the author seeing how good Yamada-kun was.

Nagi was awful in this show, why do these animes loves having a smart mc but retarded when it comes to other things. Man spending the entire ep stalking Erika and Hiro was one of his retarded moment in the show.

All in all, the characters are boring asf. The whole sachi likes Nagi is so wack and out of place and wasnt needed tbh. The same goes for the brother thing, the parents being a dik deciding their childs future without consent and the father being the biggest douchebag. Oh yeah, i hate how hiro looks, shes ugly asf

It's finally over with no progression in any of the relationships...love that. Who was the child with the white hair when Erika was looking through the photo album? I still don't understand when the parents realized they took the wrong child home and why they didn't just do a big switcheroo, granted it's just an anime but still. What did Nagi mean by "is our relationship over now too"? lol Nagi said Erika was her fiance without realizing Hiro was sitting outside. Then Sachi goes and pours more salt into the wound. Anyways, I do have to admit that I'm going to miss this dumpster fire of a show. 6/10.

Pretty decent adaptation of the manga overall. The girls having great voice actresses made the show more worthwhile. Maybe we'll get season 2 someday, till then sayonara~

'They're Fiancée/Fiancé after all'

Goes from study lesson, to Ericka being sick to learning that Sachi's mother don't care about the wedding as long as they are family, which is nice btw, and then return to the "Iinazuke's" regular banter.. That conclude things, a bit random but at least we got some sweet scenes between Nagi and the girls(except Sachi).

Start off strong thought it was gonna be something but it didn't go nowhere. This show tried to be 'mysterious' so much with "Hotel King's" behavior, Nagi's "extra" brother, random person popping up on pictures(that grey haired one). Tried to do many things at once and failed. A messy anime that seems going somewhere and nowhere at the same time.

Damm never expected there to have a double ep. What a loud birthday party invite though. But hey it matches the dad perfectly. Shotgun wedding huh have to say it matches the two perfectly. The study session results were so cliched lol. First time I seen alcohol be used as a medicine though. But I guess her search for her bro really tired her out. Not to mention having to worry about the others as well. Looks like Erika's father is playing the long game. But so far its undeniable that Erika and Nagi have gotten much closer so its not impossible for the two to actually fall for each other for real. Overall a fun ep that showed just how much Erika had been working to keep things going between the main cast. Too bad we didn't get to see the brother but from the looks of it it might be woven into the next season given the fact that the father seems to be planning long term. It will be nice to see another season.

I really liked the first cour so much more than this one, but I'm glad I stuck things out and finished it at least. Manga readers warned me that things still haven't really progressed there either, so I wasn't expecting anything conclusive here either. But compared to the overall feelings I got from the first cour, this one just fell kinda flat for me.

At least we finally got somewhat of a little closure on Nagi and Erika's engagement. It was also neat getting to watch the finale episodes back to back. Hiro and Nagi at the inn, and Nagi bringing Erika something to eat were the highlights of the cour for me. They had some surprisingly heartfelt moments, and really represent what I liked about the show the most. I guess I just wanted more from this cour, somehow. It kind of felt like we went all over the place, but didn't fully arrive at a destination.

I still love the characters and their interactions, though- so I'd totally look forward to a season 2 if we end up getting one.

I'm okay now... At least... I want to be able to say that.

Notice that Hiro was respectful of Erika and let her have her moment with Nagi while Erika broke into Nagi and Hiro's hotel room impersonating a cop to keep them from getting closer.

This was 5/10 🙄 Nagi was only good character. Sachi was annoying bitch🤬, Amano annoying but better than Sachi at least and Hiro was 😐😐😅😅… Somehow, thanks to Nagi, I made it to the end of this anime...

not worth it to watch this😅 maybe i can give this better score… = 6/10

Their parents married when they were 19!???
Relatable lol

Can't believe I actually followed this through until the very last episode, it feels like it was a while ago that the first episode came out.

This show was decent I guess, the character design always felt kinda weird to me, like the idea of giving character lips is a little weird, but the show kept it's level from the very first episode, like all the episodes were pretty much all the same level of quality, there isn't a single episode I can point out and say: "That's the worst episode" or "that's the best episode" it was all pretty much the same.

The show simply kept it's momentum from the first episode and went through with it, the only problem is that it's momentum wasn't very high

And that brings us to the end of the half-year ride. Personally, the first half was a lot more enjoyable and I thought some of the episodes in the latter half were just reusing ideas and not really progressing much in terms of the plot. Also, for some reason, I can't say I'm too interested in the main characters, I'm more interested in the love story of the Uminos xD.

Nest reference from Erika's father to reinforce the reference from the Op, that's pretty neat stuff. Congrats to the author for getting the 1 hour broadcast on his birthday, and happy birthday too! Pretty sure it was planned out by the distributors and whatnot, so credit to them for making it special for him.

I really enjoyed all the theme songs too, especially Op 2 & ED 1. Production values were high for the Op and the ED had just about the right visual content to sign off the episodes well.

Strong 6/10 from here. Wouldn't mind a continuation at all.

Overall, a very good and faithful adaptation of the manga.
I'm glad that this series is animated.
The biggest problem I see from this series was its very slow progression, (25 episodes = 1 school term) which I dont mind much because I have watched a similar anime before with this kind of pacing (Marmalade Boy).

Still I enjoyed it.

I can't even be mad at the development of this show. Maybe the trolling by the parents is filler and it's just a story of teens having fun. A high IQ slice of life. If it managed to get me to watch to the end then it wasn't too bad.

What a great way to end what was one of my fave shows of the year. Idc what anyone says about it being a nisekoi clone or mid etc etc. I had a lot of fun with this show and really liked all of the girls(Hiro best girl tho)

The Hiro and Nagi hotel shenanigans had me dying. I really thought she was asking him to go all the way with the “want to do more bad things” but the liquor suggestion was hilarious. Then Erika and Sachi busting in like the cops lmao, perfect. hiro and nagi have the best on screen chemistry, but it seems like Erika is starting to get there lately.

“You better kick it into gear too” hiro calling Sachi out lol. We’re ending just as things are getting good sadly.

I’m definitely going to miss this on Saturday evenings, onto the manga I go!

Honestly did not expect back to back episodes for the finale, but hey I'll take it. It's not the greatest of shows, frustrating at times, but at the very least it's entertaining and I guess fun. It's not as frustrating as Rent a Girlfriend though and that is a plus in my book lmao. If we get a second season, I'll definitely watch it, but am I interested in reading the manga? I enjoyed the first half but the second half seemed like they had run out of ideas and just put in some filler.

It was fairly good and I rated it a 7. I just wish animes had closure, the MC never picks a girl in just about any anime but I suppose they always leave it open in hope of another season.

ok i'm mad that this didn't end concluisvely even after dragging out for so long but on the other hand this felt like a genuinely good episode so i'm not gonna complain.

no way yohie is so young, i was sure he would be around 40+

they for some reason are telling us to forget the whole premise this show was built on lmao. "you don't have to get married", "it's up to erica and nagi at the end to choose". bruh.

something tells me hiro is gonna be a huge drinker when she's old enough to drink.

the nagi and erica bed scene was really heartwarming to see. after that scene it's confirmed for me that erica and nagi have the best chemistry and compatibility when compared to other 2 girls. to be honest i'm now actively rooting for erica.

this was a fun episode and pretty entertaining. 5/5 rating for this episode.

overall though i would rate this 7/10. most points for the first cour and rest for the last 3 or 4 episodes of second cour. the main stuff was completely forgotten at the end. the brother thing was teased and it wasn't pursued much after that. it is teased that sachi and hiro like nagi but no concrete developments have taken place. our main girl erica still hasn't realised she likes nagi even after 24 episodes bruh, most main girls accept they like the main guy in at least first 24 episodes. though our mc can be very dense and dumb at times and surprisingly nice and mature at other times, can't say i hate him but i don't like him much either. hotel king still seems like the master mind behind everything that's happening, it seems like he's planning all this to get erica and nagi together at the end, why? we don't really know that.

i do want to see what happens next so i hope there's a season 2.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.

I knew we wouldn't get an ending after ep 22. This felt like the whole show has been a prologue for the next season. Setting up the premise and characters and letting the girls all become aware of each others feelings for Nagi.

I like bad Hiro and seeing how she acted in ep 23 made me like her even more. Good girl gone bad angle hey, quite like that.

Solid 7/10 for me, popcorn trashy rom-com. Just hoping we get an announcement for S2 soon.

Censored shitty anime.

Well streaming numbers and sales of the anime have been atrocious not to mention anime figurines haven't sold a dime.

That's what they get for censoring the anime, putting out censored blu ray disks, and only making the merchandise lewd while the actual show is censored.

They have only themselves to blame for the failure.

Final score 3/10
