| Damn the visuals were clean this episode! I feel for Naruhaya... now that it's all animated. Also the new ending song is pretty chill too! |
| I'd say this was Yochi's toughest match up yet because the odds he had to go up against and trying to once again surpass his own limits. There's also a state of analysis that goes beyond just trying to force in a goal in this episode. Tactics like this is a clever and Yoichi should use it more. He's growing up fast in this project. |

| Trust me it was embarrassing watching Naruhaya missing his shot just when he had that bold declaration after Isagi but good thing his team didn’t suffer, as Barou scored one straight after. But hey I mean at this point it shouldn’t be a match between team red and team white but instead a face-off between Nagi and Barou plus Naruhaya, that’s just the kind of role Isagi has played so far. Talking in his head nonstop but getting shown his place in the actual match. Though Isagi, THE protagonist, doesn’t matter how useless he is will always get the aid of anime gods. Coming up with a skill right in the midst of a match and.. beating the super strong opponents. Indeed it transpired this time around too, copying Naruhaya’s blind spot, and then solo-ing Barou. Scoring a goal and.. we know. Now Isagi and Nagi are taking Barou with them. Felt a bit for Naruhaya but, my brother, this is the fate of fodder characters in anime. You were sacrificed for Isagi, like come on they should’ve given him a single goal if nothing. Now I don’t even recall if he’s even in the manga anymore or not. New ED, but still the same story. Last one tops. |

| Isagi's evolving again. Devoured Naruhaya's footwork and defeated Barou in a 1v1. I like how they used Naruhaya's orange colored ego to visualize that part and then transitioned to Isagi's green when he used his own direct shot to score the winning goal. Nagi even calling him striker. Cute. Naruhaya's flashback reminds me of Kuon's. So Naruhaya stealing Gagamaru's gyozas actually had meaning behind it. A bit sad to see a member of Team Z being left behind like that. The music during that scene definitely emphasized the heartbroken feeling of not being chosen. |

| We got some last minute backstory on Naruhaya but that unfortunately won't be enough to get me to suddenly care about him lol. He was doomed from the start and destined for the typical fate of irrelevant and unmemorable side characters, especially in a match that features the MC and 2 OP supporting characters. Yeah, pretty obvious who's going to get disqualified at that point lol. Anyway, it was nice to once again see Isagi evolve and quickly adapt mid-match to overcome his weaknesses. As expected, he and Nagi won, and took Barou with them. New ED is pretty cool. |

| And there it is, Isagi's adaptability to take Naruhaya's weapon to get into the blind spots just in time. Too bad for the latter, I guess his family will have to rely on the crypto bro to make it high... right? In any case, now Barou and Nagi are on the same team. I can foresee a pretty rough dynamic taking place already. |

| Everyone looks off, somehow, and all the internal monologuing and flashbacks kinda break whatever momentum the episode/events might've had. Things happen, but it's dry and bland, like when actors have no chemistry on the screen. |
| Isagi abilities and intelligence grew up in the match who winner takes it all. Finally the Trio is formed with Barou the strongest player, Nagi the most talented and Isagi the mind. Thre opponents will have difficulties with this assorted team |

| Still really liking the direction of this arc, and Isagi's evolutions are as satisfying to see as ever. But I'm really starting to get the feeling that they should've split the cours because man, the production hits are getting more and more noticable |
| The 2-vs-2 match of Average Joes vs. Geniuses, both Naruhaya and Isagi find themselves having to compensate skills for their partners, and for now, relying on Nagi and Barou to relay goals while they find the secret weapon they're looking for to complete the puzzle. To Naruhaya always targeting Isagi's blind spot, it looks like the latter has finally found the secret ingredient that will perfect his play and rewrite his common sense. Being unpredictable is the only way that Isagi can survive in this nail-biting Rivals battle. It's interesting to show Naruhaya's family background before he was accepted into Blue Lock just like Isagi and the rest, he was just a son working hard for the family to make ends meet. His advice ignored by Barou's regal philosophy to score a goal using his usual skill, and both hit the crossbar being short of their final goal. Isagi has Gotze it: the combination of Average Joes to throw off Barou and target Nagi on the sidelines to get the final goal, devouring Naruhaya's skill to make the cut. But for the latter, he realized too late that he could've done the same as Isagi did and master it, with the Average Joe that the latter is and turning it into an adaptability genius move. Having Barou join the team and Naruhaya bowing out of Blue Lock, the true Average Joe is out. Heated matches just don't stop coming. |

| So Isagi took Naruhaya's skill and ran with it by getting into Barou's blind spot and score the winning goal. We got a glimpse of Naruhaya's backstory in which he comes from a poor family where his older sister has to take care of him and his other siblings and Soccer was Naruhaya's ticket to change all that. The good luck charm was the reason why he was in Blue Lock. However, Naruhaya's dream ended when he lost the match and Isagi's team gained Barou leaving Naruhaya all by himself to be eliminated from the 2nd selection. Now the question is can Barou and Nagi get along now that they are on the same team? Meanwhile, Kunigami and Chigiri have made it to the next stage and teamed up with Reo who is still down from Nagi leaving him. Will see how that works out. |

| Ooo Yoichi got the new title, genius of adaptibility, which for sure suits his play there. But not gonna lie its been obvious, Naruhaya meant and refer the Average Joe to just himself. Poor Shorty, he needs to get out for the plot sake. But i don't think he's done for real, i feel like Ego will do the reunion for a better future, perhaps. Though, the flashback of him giving me a wheeze so cliche yet im fine with that, and i also can't stop laughing when the two geniuses fights over the bed. That's must be hard, Yoichi, lmao. So anyway, the screen back to Kunigami and Chigiri again might also means they'll be meet again sooner or later. So if that's happens, that's nice. Need to know how far Blue Lock giving me a better impression with this second selection. So far its been average, not that good as the first cour giving me a pump, but not really just bad by how its moving forward. So yeah, let's see next! |

| The matches have been a little lacking in impact for the past couple ones but Isagi's final goal in this game brought the adrenaline back at last!! Reo being all yandere with the toothbrush was quite hilarious – I'm already looking forward to seeing him reunite with his Cinderella, haha. |

| Nagi & Isagi actually won against them, which was intense to see, I feel bad for Naruhaya but it is what it is and that's how blue lock is, I could've guessed that Nagi would choose Barou because he's an fast man. In the meantime the other ones wanna get revenge on Isagi & Bachira for "abandonding" them or something. Visuals and animation slapped this episode, amazing. |

Oh, so sad, Naruhaya's backstory, his older Sister providing for him and his siblings, both his parents dying two years prior, oh, the tears won't stop flowing, what a heart wrenching backstory out of nowhere for this side character |
| Awesome episode as always. Nice to see Isagi get another W after some rough episodes. Barou and Naruhaya both had great chances to end the game. Nagi and Isagi certainly got lucky. Epic final goal. Naruhaya's comments were so cool: "It only took this guy a split second... to take my skill... and devour it!!" |
