The story is about a Human child from mercury go to space school to become a pilot, She brings Gundam with her but she never knew that robot was gundam. This anime show us about family conflict. There is some about political conflict but Family conflict has more space in this anime.

I think this Gundam anime has more light story than other gundam we knew. So if you want to start to watch a gundam series, i think this one is a better choice.

Ok, can I just say I LOVE THIS Gundam series. The ending credits where Suletta squishes that guy with no problem to save Mio had me on my toes. I am dying to see what happens next!!! Does anyone know when Season 02 will be coming out?

I was feeling very underwhelmed until this last arc. It hooked me just in time to end which is extremely frustrating for it to leave me waiting for what clearly will be the interesting part of the series. I liked the main couple and how their relationship grew and the post credits scene was one of the most jaw dropping cliff hangers. A great culmination of their development through the show tragically getting thrown out the window in a hazy red mist.

That final scene was HORRIFYING. I know Suletta was panicked about saving Miorine and just acted instantly, but the fact that she didn't respond at all to the pieces of body and drops of blood floating around. I couldn't imagine in the slightest bit not being hunched over upchucking everything in my stomach after an event like that, let alone giggling and calling myself clumsy after slipping in a pool of PERSON.

I've got no idea how this will go from here. Will Suletta react to the blood she's coated in? Will she act like it's nothing? Will she just react to how Miorine called her a monster? I'm scared.

the only thing that really bothered me was the amount of holes the planet thingy had busted into it and none resulted in a vacuum... aside from that Suletta was way too quick to be okay with murder after a few words with her mom, but i guess she never really had any character aside from being insecure but having complete faith in her mom, so it fits
I think that is Suletta's biggest character flaw. She's WAY too trusting of her mother.

Thinking back on the whole situation, anxious little Suletta seemed far too nonchalant about the fact that she just killed someone. Now I wonder if her mother did something to her when she was a kid to make her follow orders or smth? I'm so curious!!

Despite the claims that the ending was uncouth and completely out of the blue, there have been many subtleties that hinted towards this massive growth in Suletta's character, from the opening episode's space warfare, to her mother's questionable attitude, and even the seemingly positive speech that reconciled her and Miorine in the last episode. Although the pacing for the show in general was quite bad, the ending definitely did not let down. Excited for Season 2!

This ending was underwhelming for me, the other Gundam that I have seen in a similar format to this was IBO, around ep12 there was still nothing drastic going on but by the end of ep25, it had gone to places and moved the plot forward... it is the problem with this being a split cour, we are more in the middle of something rather than a good point to end shit, with nothing truly concluding.

I hope that what we have ahead in a few days is rather Part 2 of S1, and we will get another season of 25 episodes split cour to fully flesh this setting for Gundams, I do feel with 50 episodes this new Gundam series will have proper time to develop and become memorable, just like IBO S2 was for me
If they end this at episode 25 and there is no S2 I will be a bit disappointed.

Focusing on this first part again (refuse to call it S1 and 13-24/25, S2), 12 episodes were not enough for me to develop these characters in meaningful ways, there are narrative bits they have started within these 12 episodes that I doubt a total of 25 episodes will be enough to properly address everything in typical Gundam fashion.

I love yuri but am skeptical the ship will sail by the end, and if one is watching a Gundam for romance, one is bound to end up feeling disappointed, what I want is an intriguing plot and characters with motivations that I care about to drive things forward, I see the potential here for that, but repeating myself 25 episodes in total won't be enough for me.

Talking about the battles, this was not the best one, some of the earlier episodes and the one from ep8-9 were more exciting, it is cool to see 2D mecha but the OST is also doing wonders, I loved IBO soundtrack, but this one feels more EPIC.

The reason I call this "ending" underwhelming is that it ends with nothing truly concluding, and I just don't feel Sulleta's character in these final moments, earlier in this episode, she was in a state of shock when her mother killed those mercs, and she recovered naturally, but then she goes and kills this dude with her mech just like that, considering her personality and how she felt when her mother killed those mercs, suddenly treating this enemy like it was a bug that as to be smashed, just felt wrong, out of character.
And the way the scene is presented is just brutal and ODD, the focus on the blood dripping, along with Sulleta's cool demeanor despite the carnage she just committed, just did not strike right and I do feel Mio's reaction is not wrong.

Sulleta should have shown at least some resistance or disgust to be forced to do such a thing, acting as if nothing happened, like it was bug just felt plain wrong within her character and what she had just gone through, so unless I m missing SOMETHING, this ending was ODD, and I m hoping part 2 will do something do address this scene.
BTW I freaking love the ending song, but that opening needs to be much improved on part 2, it was just a bore that didn't match, whereas the ED always had me watching it till the end, never skipping.

8.1/10 = 8

Overall I expected to like this season a bit more, the characters are still very much green and in need of more development to meet my expectations, putting my hopes on part 2 but I won't hype it too much since I get the feeling this new iteration of Gundam will only truly satisfy me with 50 episodes.

I gotta bitch about that dude killing his dad, it felt so forced, he was trying to reach out to his dad but by convenience the dad is NOT able to hear him and only when it is too late, felt too forced, also these guys are supposed to be pieces of trash, but get all goody at death's door?!
Let them die like the piece of shit they are, don't try to suddenly only there, pain a better picture of their lives and motivations up to now!

8.1/10 = 8

Suletta has always been too naive and innocent, not understanding basic human norms and this after credit scene really put focus on it. Her reaction shocks Miorine who granted is a tad too harsh to call her a murderer; she did save her life after all.

Looking forward to the next arc which should be classic Gundam.

Indeed some scenes allude to that, but then why did she react like that when her mother killed those mercs? If they are hinting for Sulleta to be like this, IMO it means she is a very unstable character, and this is something they want to develop for her character with part 2. IF SO, I look forward to that but don't include a scene earlier in this episode that clashes with the notion this show was building up for her and makes her suddenly feel the emotion and end up distraught from seeing people dying.

Wow, did Suletta get over having to kill *quickly*.

Had that thought from the beginning, but does anyone else feel like the Gund-bits are controlled by the souls of dead children, or something of the sort?
Seems like the next obvious reveal, since it's Gundam and all, sacrificing children being kind of the basis of everything.

Precisely my point, also that is an interesting take for the show to take, could see it happening, something needs to happen and conclude, because right now the plot lacks a choesive goal the characters are working towards, something dramatic that makes me wanna cheer for them.

Japan doesn't understand guns. When someone points at you with a gun and say they are about to end your life that's tantamount to actually doing it. So no the person who saves your life by squishing them in the nick of time isn't a "murderer"! Seen this happen to often in Japanese stories!

It is not the kill that Miorine is upset about, it is how Suletta acted afterward.

Worst Gundam I have seen so far, and I have seen them nearly all. It's not even a REAL Gundam, it's just kids playing duels - they even admit it themselves - in school, with mock battles and melodrama.
Only the last two episodes were faithful to the franchise, the rest are pretty much worthless filler trash that you can see in any other anime about school duels.

Not what I expected after that great Prologue. Major disappointment.

It gets a 5/10 from me, mostly for the visuals.

I know it's being discussed for quite a while, but frankly that episode between Miorine and Suiletta was rather disgusting.
It's like the rest of story went in the trash can, her [Miorine] memory was reset and she had no relocation of Suiletta at all.
Why I call it specifically disgusting is for a simple reason that the only interpretation Miorine had in that moment wasn't that Suiletta might as well been traumatized by that event in her own usual clumsy way, especially when Suiletta already had to save her ass too many times before that and in this case she was literally a second away from being killed. It nulified everything that was built up during the season for me between the 2 characters.
The main crime is that it was a cliffhanger of course.

Also wtf why does the author hate Guel so much? The guy is portrayed as such a complete loser it's mind blowing to watch. Give him a freaking brake already. He didn't give him a single moment to redeem himself (kinda gave him two but not really).

A simple logical assumption considering the circumstances she could have simply been happy to see Miorine safe and well and why wouldn't she be? Or she could have been equally shocked in her own way that this was what she had to do to protect others and her smile and "positive" reaction was simply ways to cope with that stress and push it away.

Guel accidentally ended up killing his own father! That would be difficult to live with. He's probably gonna crack up in the brain after that.

Suletta saves Miorine, but when she splattered that guy like a mosquito, it scared the shit out of Miorine, especially how Suletta seems not to be bothered in the slightest, and is even smiling.

Why do I feel that Suletta's mother is evil suddenly? It's like she's manipulating her daughter to be a tool to fight and kill. I mean, she wears a mask like Char, so it wouldn't surprise me.

My God this was fantastic. I could understand the criticisms of this not feeling like a "real Gundam" at first, with the duels and gundam high school shenanigans and all that shit, but it became increasingly clear very episode there is a lot more going on than what the surface betrays. The feeling there are multiple parties all vying for control, there's a real Game of Thrones vibe (Aerial is the Iron Throne of course); the intrigue is there, but it hasn't been blatant.

Suletta is adorable and Guel is obviously the most interesting character in the show. Man's having a real Vegeta arc, then he went on to kill his own fucking father. Honestly I was kind of hoping Suletta would be assassinated here in a major twist, uprooting the story so far and making Guel or Miorine the central protagonist.

suletta saves miorine AND her dad, instead of a thanks sulleta gets called a murderer???? like how was she exactly expecting to get saved.

For a gundam anime, the battle scenes were also underwhelming with those constant perspective change. Had a hard time figuring out who was fighting whom the whole episode. Maybe sunrise needs to visit the roots of gundam anime.

I immediately knew what was going to happen when he immediately got into a fight right after he left the ship. My man guel just can't stop taking the Ls man.

Suletta casually squashing that man was wild. Has to be the mother, i swear the mom is the antagonist here, a manipulative one and its seriously been bugging me for the past episodes(her actions and sht), even she with her headmask looks extra villainous, its literally a giveaway even. Though, I'm curious to why exactly

How can she go from "killing is bad" watching her mom eliminate guys to save her to "killing is nothing" by flattening another guy gory in less than 5 minutes?
Ok Suletta has always been a bit strange but now the change is just too brutal, no pun intended. Reminds me of an episode of Eureka 7 but the character didn't have a big smile right after the act.

Good Gundam serie but not the best for me.
