@Janethan23 You should post this as a separate thread, a lot of people seem confused by that (the same kind that don't understand that they can simply not like a work without blaming its author). I genuinely believe that such a perfect explanation shouldn't be buried in an episode discussion.

I have found my new favorite...since all the other characters I liked died in the first season besides Fushi. If Bon dies I'll riot! But idk he probably does lol. Poor Fushi everyone he knows dies, he is starting to get a complex.

Pretty lame again. The new characters are annoying. I hate manga/anime which think obnoxious means good/interesting characters.

Dude has some redeeming qualities but the entire royal family seems like copied from a generic gag manga.

New guardian dude and female fushi plus black god saying fushis reproductive organs are working made me wonder, what would happen to a fetus if fushi turns back? Thanos snap level of question I know.

Im still not over Tonari getting killed off just like that. Apparently she was important and left a diary, was hoping we would learn more about that if it gets teased this ep already.

Fushi may restart from an orb, but if he doesnt form a consciousness and nokkers absorb him again its basically death, no matter what the black god says.

Also, how many Guardians are there by now and why are the successors dying so young? You would think by now they have a huge following, yet they only leave 3 members for an entire friendly city?

Also curious what happened to the island tonari left behind, apparently she left some sort of order.

I guess I will stick around because the story and setting are interesting even if the arc is lame, but if this continues I might as well just read the manga and skip through this part. people hyping up the new gag character makes me suspicious and now I want to drop it even more

PS: Guardian dude seems to like female fushi, I want him to find out his great great grandmother killed her

PPS: Completely forgot the most important thing, what is up with those glowing/black orbs appearing sometimes? Seem to be black for negative emotions/events and bright ones for positives

This prince Bon is fascinating. I'm 100% sure he's just "playing the fool / fop" and is much more capable than meets the eye since he's managed to capture Fushi once through a trap and twice in switched forms. Very ... interesting.

Finally, I can see Kahaku's first move on Parona, I mean Fushi. Now, I'm looking forward to see their relationship.

Bon's development will be one of epic parts soon.

Yes, this arc feels rushed because it's still on era changing. So it'll leave a lot plot holes.

Love the prince, what a great character. He's like Betegeuse from Re:Zero, except not a villain.

I loved how he immediately caught Fushi as he tried to escape twice. Really shows what a Fushi-maniac the prince is lol!

Also the guard falling in love with girl-Fushi was kinda nice. I just hope Fushi doesn't get pregnant. Transforming while pregnant would probably kill the baby >_>

Really good episode and I feel we're finally IN.
If you haven't watched "Fantastic Children", don't talk about "best anime". Thank you.

I kind of have a feeling that the prince could help Fushi have an idea of what to do next, and not be a coward and suicidal maniac.

I still don’t like the guy descendant of Hayase. Will never trust those lot. Obsession is a disease.

Interesting episode. Some new characters. Kahaku is pretty well translated from the Manga. So is Bon.
They kept referring to Parona as "Joaan". I checked the manga and it's there, too. Hmm.
A few weird frames, but overall it looks like the animators are slowly getting into the style.

Tasty Peach seems lke he's in the wrong anime. Pretty sure he's an escapee or reject from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. His stand ability is recognizing Fushi no matter what form he's in. Gotta say I really like him.

I really love the plot which is the only reason I’m toughing out the ridiculous pacing. Luckily I’m a Gemini so my quick mind can keep up lol. But it does feel all over the place and abrupt which is annoying :/

So... given it was confirmed that Fushi can have functional sex organs... does that mean he can also get pregnant if he stays in Parona's form?

But seriously tho, Parona's image didn't deserve this. Practically killed off screen and now the object of desire of a dude whose crazy ancestor brutally murdered her.

Fushi feel too static recently. I mean, 200 years have passed, and he still feels like an ignorant kid learning about the world. Season 1 we saw him constantly growing and learning and developing as a character. But now, nothing. It would make more sense if he was isolated on the Island like he was in the first 40ish years, but it clearly showed him in cities interacting and talking with people, reading and such. Yet, he doesn't at all feel like a character who has lived for several hundred years. I guess that's one of the problems with trying to have an immortal main character. You want utilize that by having him be around for hundreds of years, but don't have the time to actually show those hundreds of years, so you use time skips, but at the same time, you don't want your audience to feel like they have missed a part of the journey, so you have to leave you character static for all that time, so when we catch back up with him we can "continue from where we left off."

Because the world is advancing faster than Fushi can understand it, so he still learns. There are a lot new informations that he doesn't know.

Unlike previous season where Fushi learns like a baby, this season is more about Fushi is looking some reliable and trusthworthy friends that will develop him better in fighting against knockers since they also get a lot developments too later.

First 3 episodes of this season are still in progressing of era changing while he is trying to isolate himself to prevent more dead people he doesn't know. So technically, he's just wasting his whole time to kill boredom like hikikomori.

That's why Bon exist here. He'll be such a great figure that will help Fushi in this season.

can't wait till Kahaku found out Parona was killed by his ancestor Hayase.

The GOAT Takehito Koyasu-san voicing an eccentric character Prince Bon, couldn't ask for anyone else.

It's crazy how Fushi made so many impact in this world history without even realizing it.

There's an ongoing religious conflict. To the Guardians and their followers, Fushi is their miracle working Messiah and the target of the nokkers, to their rival church, he is the one that attracts the nokkers.
Fushi can't have a militia of amateur civilians fighting the Nokkers, he needs an army, and that's where Uralis comes in. Bon's doing this to get his father's approval to be next in line to the throne but is there any other ulterior motive? Fushi has experienced inhumane spectator sports and experiments from Janada and Hayase

The guardians put up their banners in all the villages where Fushi showed up with them, Kahaku made a reservation for a reason "this is our Fushi", their religious power is getting stronger. Although here I think it also depends on hereditary obsession.
Fushi rejoices that people "love" him and shows "miracles", but I wonder if the cult of the name of himself will one day be a problem for Fushi and if he understands how bad it can be. Kohaku pretends to only like girls. Well, nothing, true love should not be tied to gender, which means that soon you will love him with anyone).
Kohaku seems to like to call Fushi Joanne, which probably helps him share the image of a beautiful girl so far and the center of their cult. Bon is cool and sensitive so far, but I imagined his character, his ears were a little pissed off with his behavior at the end of the episode, but I understand why it was like that.
Is it just me or is Fushi getting more brazen and trolling in his Parona form? Also, Fushi acted completely like a girl when he was undressed by the servants, does the form affect the perception?

If you don't like disenting opinions, why did you create an account on a discussion board where there will be different people with different views about anime. Or did you just made an account to complain about someone who doesn't like what you like?

Fushi as Parona from now on eh? Oh lol no xd. Look at all those believer, the Guardians did a well job giving them an understanding about Fushi.

Bon already giving me a weird feeling whenever he spoke some lines. But idk why he's better than Kahaku owned Fushi alone. Need to balance the power struggle there, right? And he can be a good leader for Fushi too to create a new world free from Nokkers and creep people like the Hayase decendant, the Guardians and the church people? So what the truth lies beyond his view about Fushi?

So weird. I don't really know what I expected for this season but I don't think this was it. Fushi's life has been pretty awful tho. He hasn't been able to make any real connections since S1 and all this he's just been followed around by these guardian weirdos. This new prince guy is kind of insane (as is the entire castle), but I feel he's actually gonna turn out to be a really good person for Fushi. Could still go poorly but idk what to expect story format wise for this season.

In defense, thought was put into the first season. The pacing between the arcs was a bit off, but the arcs in of themselves were pretty solid. The Author did a good job (depending on who you ask) to make people care for the struggle of the characters.
And that's why I am angry that they fucked up season 2 so badly. The Plot is all over the place and it currently seems like all purpose is lost. The dead characters are now simp material for the new characters, the Prince is your stereotypical flamboyant character and the other dude falling for Fushi after he became a girl (hihi) is such a boring character dynamic.

I'm on your side with what you said about the second season, but I think there were qualities the first season had that justified its praise.
