| Ittoki's introduction into the whole ninja business by none other than his very own mother, and this still feels like too much for the son to take in, even after their incumbents stressing that his role is to be hastened as a capable ninja without any reason than to protect him from the Koga clan. This is most implied from his "uncle" Tokisada because if Ittoki is killed, that would mean the end of their clan. The Koga clan's acting chief Onido Minobe voiced by TsudaKen always gets the villain job right, that's for sure. But for a start, Ittoki being enrolled into a ninja school by his mother's aide Yumika and seeking clarification from his very own mother Yuka is how his journey starts into being a ninja. Yeah, of course you would go to a "specialized" school. The transfer exam which Ittoki has to pass, for everything to be not planned, that's the ninjitsu art. And the exam location at a service area where the unknowing public is rampant, with the game of hide-and-seek and a time limit of 10 minutes, Ittoki's feeling nervous, and especially with Koga ninjas still targeting him, it's tough but he passed either way (to save plot face). This is too fast-paced, slow down a bit for 13 episodes worth. |

| Action-packed episode. But this is another one of those cliché anime about some ordinary guy entered into some trouble, found out about his background, then enroll to some special school (with cute girls). Ninja school this time. I'm not complaining though. |

| I was relieved to see most others had rated this ep the same as myself and comments are similar to my feelings. The MC is a touch too alienated still and is distracting. As another noted, this will be a popcorn deal and I shouldn't take it too seriously. |
| Ninja in modern society using modern technology? This ain't Naruto, there is no Fireball Jutsu. Kinda interesting. Fight scene was cool, the plot moving fast fast. |

| Oh yes so there is even a ninja school and a ninja exam to enter the school, and there are still the other ones that want to absolutely kill MC, at least he got covered and even though it was chaotic he passed the exam, I wonder how will be his life at the ninja school now |

| I'm still not sure why the main girl wears a face mask. if she's trying to hide the fact she's a ninja, the mask just does the opposite. not bad so far but it seems a bit rushed in places. |

| the premise of this show is dumb and i don't like it. Takano Minato should have taken this idea and balled it up and tossed it in his 'bad idea' bin and left it behind. i'm giving it one more episode and i'm dropping it. i've only gotten this far because TROYCA has made a good looking anime. |

| So apparently there was a ninja school all this time yet instead of being enrolled in that he was enrolled in a regular public school? This makes no sense considering everything they said about how they forced him to do gymnastics so he would be a good ninja. The whole part of the plot where he was kept in the dark is so forced. Other than that I guess its good. |

Ninjas are sneaky so deceptive traps make sense, but too much makes it too boring. Even chaos in writing needs to have order. Also, the acceptance was too obvious & the reasons from what seems to be the principal/headmaster are not viable. Also how the fuck did he get into a normal school first then? Maybe his mother wanted to protect him from ninja duties, that's one reason i could think of but seriously, seems very contrived. |
| It’s strange they never trained MC till now. Inconsiderate of them. Almost stupid. But the show even with some deaths in episode one is too lighthearted to be taken seriously. Nice action tho. |
| Show is way too fast. Pacing is off, the exam was basically 6 minutes. MC was slightly less stupid today which made things more bearable, but I don’t really have high expectations for this one. |
