| It was mysterious for all the things that happened to them while they were sleeping but seems like it's because of these weird creatures from the village (I love the ambiance!) though it's not reassuring at all especially after that last sentence, they will have to change their bodies to escape the village??? :o |

The non-reaction to the colossal seahorse-dragon hybrid, and as you alluded to, the mild reaction to finding a city of demons inside of a gargantuan flesh tree, the entrance of which is adorned with human body parts, etc. Their reactions are somewhat more severe in the manga, but still not to where they should be, so that the audience can really feel the dread & awe of what they (we) are witnessing To be fair, after what they been through, it's no wonder they act more like battle-hardened warriors. |

The world they live in is so fucked that things that should horrifically scar them barely register as shocking. Nanachi specifically has participated in countless children being ripped apart, so it's kinda hard to imagine her being phased by anything. |
| Made in Abyss really takes fantasy to the next level. We're not going to fight a demon lord, and nothing is glorified. Really great episode, especially with the little voice over at the end. |

| I love the environment in the abyss each layer is way different from previous one. Also the exploration was great. we got a glimpse on few creatures, the food and new area. The OP was 10/10 .. Music & animation |
| that last line about people not being able to return from that area while maintaining their human forms,, oh boy. also a horrible cliffhanger dammit kind of enjoying that theme in this anime, like people losing their human form. pretty interesting to me |

| I'm excited as the plot grows thicker. The animation and art is amazing as always, too bad that they seem to be relying on CGI more than last season though. Those backgrounds are always on point though. That tree or carcass they walked through looked so bizarre. |

Looks like one of the original arrivals (don't remember her name) might be still alive?? keep wondering where Riko's mom is, I'm really scared of the creatures that they ended up meeting 😫 humans who can't leave in their human form?? Also, where did the Pruchuska whistle go?? why was it taken and why did this new creature not tell them directly? So fucking creepy |

Don't worry, stuff like this happens with any new anime. But most people don't assign a score to any anime before it's finished airing. So after it's finished , we'll get the true score. But honestly I feel like it will stay around the current score or higher since manga readers have praised thia arc a lot. |

Still thinking how insanely cool it would be to implement the concept of the abyss into a game. Golden Kamuy 🤝 Made in Abyss, eating some gross ass looking food. Those Mizojack eggs reminded me of balut, which is a Philippine dish lmao. Oh God, a place full of Mitty's, though they look like they're in better condition, and can speak sort of, like Nanachi. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| so far i like the extra bits of world building they've added from the manga. the anime really shines when taking the scenes slowly to let the viewer soak in this new world. amazing shots and music to. i dont quite remember the creepy hair animals but prushka is somewhere safe. i hope that reg will get his arm back and finally a glimpse of the ends on the bridge. |

Well... what can the site do when an anime barely comes back and it already has two really good episodes isn't it? But yes, the site is broken, we know that. I just think this is not as absurd as spy x family to have reached the top 10 of the site after 3 episodes, for example. Stuff like this made me believe the score doesn't make sense. Of course, if a show is highly rated it means it is universally praised, but that doesn't mean the top 10 show is better than the top 11. |
