| While the OP isn't the best this season (Ya Boy Kongming has that crown in a league of its own), but the song is nice and fits well alongside the stylistic visuals and animation. It's pretty good overall. =) As for the episode itself, we're introduced to Yor, who acts like a cute airhead, but there's no denying at how skilled she is as an assassin. Anya took an immediate liking to her after she and Loid saw her in the shop earlier, in which Anya's reactions were pure cuteness overload as usual. Loid's timing in arriving at the party venue was nice. He didn't waste any time in saving Yor from an awkward situation before taking her with him, but not before the bandits he thought he and his friend dealt with earlier came back, hell bent on finishing him off. It let to some nice teamwork between Loid and Yor and, to top it all off, one memorable proposal from Loid as he unleashed a grenade at the bandits and then proceeded to place the pin on Yor's finger while popping the all important question as the grenade explodes in the background. What a badass! I want more of this! XD |

| Shikimori-san's kind cool, but Yor is literally an assassin >.> doesn't get "colder" than that. That OP was peak man. Love the art style changes and how the part that is in Anya's PoV has this an iconic "old timey" visual style to it, but is still very cutesy. love the song by dandism. Such an off-kilter feel from the almost frenetic bass-line. Really good progression too. Feel like a long of their songs don't have the same drive as this one or Fireground have had, but that's getting a bit off topic I suppose. Favorite part was the car chase clips at the very start though. Dream OP would be if they slowly added more parts of that car chase to the opening sequence, but that's probably a bit overboard. I SPOTTED A CG SCENE?!?!?! Only 1 second long... but the heresy! Still the show looks fantastic on the whole. Absolutely love how They were willing to embrace the silliness of the closing sequence of events and cap it off in such a spectacular way. If I could increase my rating I would! Stellar first 2 episodes. |

| Woah the op visual looks like a two side of image that unified into one nice grand picture with Anya as the center of it. Nice! The song so far still try to grow on me, so hopefully its become a nice blend at the end of the time... Twilight, and now Yor is Thorn. Dang what a great code those two had. As expected she's an assassin, and its indeed that this episode already feels great when everything simply outstanding and pretty much entertaining with that hilarious action in the end of the episode, so far. From Anya adorableness, her excitement led them into together, simple winglittleangel, until those chaotic proposal happened. Kekw. That's how they all meet in the first place ... Really looking forward to see their dynamic while begin to live under the same roof. Waku waku! |

If I remember correctly, Wit studio are for the odd number ones that's why there's some difference with the second episode. I'll add some, aside from the difference in animation, I think episode 1 still is better as it has more content and heartwarming scenes (◠‿◠) the story-telling and unfolding of events are awesome. Can't wait for next episode |

| I know that this is too early and just a character introduction, but I don't get the hype as of now. The scenes seem mundane, the comedy is just "I got that haha" instead of genuine cleverness, and it feels predictable at most parts. I suppose that this will get better since it is focused on the relationships and the disguises but I seriously don't understand how people are enjoying this that much lmao |
| It's been a long time since I've had a huge smile on my face so early on in a series. Loid and Yor's interactions were great, especially Loid's cover up for her at the party. I'm looking forward to seeing them together more along with more of Anya's mind-reading shenanigans. It doesn't really need to have galaxy brain or 5head moments imo. Time will tell if it holds up. |
The show has a great atmosphere, the 60's flair is very well adapted. I really liked the meeting of these two and all the action that happened. The blonde lady at the party was so full of shit, she just kept up the bullying even though Yor did nothing to provoke her. That actually was the only bad part about the show. Finding a wife can be so easy ahahaha |
