THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Draken's condition didn't look good but hey, at least he's still alive.

And Shuji is one cruel bastard, almost completely in contrast compared to Takemichi. Speaking of which, it's his actions that this didn't end in tragedy. A lot of emotions from this episode for the main cast.

Excited for the next arc!

Man... when Draken went into cardiac arrest, I almost lost my shit there. That was going to be really painful after all that happened. But, I'm really glad that Draken managed to survive that and he's alright now. So proud of Mikey for being so patient even in such a time. He stays strong as the leader. But, the foreshadowing for now is not looking good. That warning from Hanma was something.

Takmeichi's sudden change in nature was hilarious. He also got the official uniform of Toman. He deserves it after all that. He managed to save the timeline and looks like everything in his time is back to normal and everyone he loves and cares about is well and alive. They're going to see Hina. But, I'm not sure what Takemichi said that he will not be able to come back again since it isn't over yet and I'm pretty sure something will disturb the current time again which would make him go back once again. But, that's just speculation for now. Who knows?

This episode feels too short again! And this is such a heartwarming episode!

They're all kids, good kids, that should be in their junior high school's classroom, and not in the street fighting until cardiac arrest. It's still make me sad how society pressure them to do this kind of extreme activity.

Mikey and Draken, you're both strong, and born for each other, so please stop your gang right now, you're already gain my respect from me. You've to grow old together and not die young.

Takemicchi, you're really a savior. Even if there are many people suspect that you've unusual ability, it doesn't matter, because you're their best friend! A friend for life! And I can't wait to see you get haircut from Akkun!

How did Hanma not go down? Mikey looks like he could keep going, but he still held his own!

Draken saying his goodbyes and leaving takemitchy in charge was heartbreaking, what an bad time to get a cardiac arrest. The real question is how the hell a bandage stopped takemitchy from bleeding out, but what the hey, we move.

Mikey coming in and pretending to be confiednet was just like him and that scene when takemitchy walked in on him crying showed how important draken really was, blooming heartwarming.

Naoto in the past is jokes, just watching his sister flirt and then shaking takemitchy's hand for jokes, but the time leap back to the present was mad, can't believe hina is safe and akkun is a barber. Takemitchy really doesn't want that job does he then?

The series can't end just there, the manga is still going on I think, so surely someone else is next in line to die, watch how its one of hina's friends or worse yet naoto himself, so takemitchy needs to do an erased and live out another 10 or so years.

What a fight between internal factions and rival gangs.

Hanma with forming his Valhalla gang, the Bloody Halloween arc coming in the 2nd cour in July is where all the fun begins.
https://twitter.com/anime_toman/status/1406167007091822599?s=19

Draken isn't in his best condition, and almost died due to cardiac arrest. A fighting battle between him and Kiyomasa, and now a battle between life and death, to which the operation succeeded. The loyalty exteded to the vice leader of Toman, and Peh-yan must face his apologetics. That said, the mission to save Draken and the rest was a success as well, and history has changed.

Mikey...to this guy I GIVE MY FULL RESPECT, he put on a brave face for all, even though he was holding back his true feelings.

Takemitchy being the "ruler" of the delinquents, and Draken immediately shutting him down is funny. Mikey's Toman uniform, he's part of Toman even without the uniform, but he's played an integral part in saving the gang from oblivion.

The solitary moment between Takemichi and Hina is nice, because he already knows what will happen to her when he travels back to the present day, and won't be able to see her in the past anymore.

It's time to head home, knowing that the results have been made that affects the future. But to be safe, searching for the people whom are still surviving in the present day, and Takemichi can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Also, meet Hina in the present day?

Man what a roller coaster of an ep, was very worried for Draken there. Now that he’s alive, Akkun is safe too, good to see him looking healthy and cheerful. Looking forward to seeing future Hina as well. Finally entering a new arc, bloody Halloween should be fun.

I like the way they all looked dead and when the police arrived most of them got up and ran away 😂

What a heartfelt relief, it made me want to scream like Takemich :D
In the end, even the toughest guys cry...
Tense moments, I wonder how Takemichi would have responded if Mikey had pushed harder 0.0

It seems that everything is back to normal although I smell that something strange is going to happen (>﹏<)

Hanma is such a bitch lol

Mission save Draken was a success, time to be relieved. Quite emotional when Mikey broke down. Well done Takemitchy and everyone.

The scene when Mitsuya told Peh that Draken was visiting Pah-chin in prison was pretty nice. It helped coming down from all the tension.

Saving Draken, Takemichi acquired the jacket of the anime beam of light. A powerful item indeed.

And the past Takemichi screwed up the relationship with Hina. Isn't a surprise but is sad to see happening

yesss Draken is alive and Akkun is alive and following his dreams!!

It's cool how Mikey put on a confident front and encouraged the others, but once it was confirmed that Draken was okay, he cried outside alone. Such a great leader.

Doesn't seem like it'll be the last time we will see Hanma though.

I'm just wondering: How does the "real" past Takemichi act after his "future" mind/consciousness returns to the present time? Does he remember everything that has happened till that point of time (while his mind was replaced with the "future" Takemichi's)? And does he remember it as his own memories? And doesn't the way he acts in the past after his sudden change of personality (I think it was mentioned in an earlier episode he acts more childishly) create a LOT of problems?

Draken managed to survived despite going into cardiac arrest thanks to Takemichi and because of that he's got the official uniform from Toman. Now that Takemichi has gained the respect of Draken and Mikey he can now return to the present knowing that Draken is still alive to prevent Toman from becoming an evil gang in the future. When Takemichi arrives in the present he's surprised to know that he still has a job, but Akkun was still alive and following his dream of being a hairstylist. More importantly is that according to Naoto, his sister Hina is still alive and Takemichi and Naoto are on the way to see her.

It's all good now, but I'm more concerned that those Valhalla boys are going to start causing trouble in the current timeline after leaving them unchecked for so long in the past.

oh man that was a close one. ngl for a second thought draken was actually gonna die and the story would focus on Takemichi having to adapt to an unforeseen objective

but I think this isn't the end of the time traveling. My guess is that Hina is somehow gonna end up dying even now and once again takemichi needs to change something in the past (probs to do with the vallaha group's involvement)

I’m glad that he was actually able to change the past, because that means this story can actually go somewhere without falling into the “can’t change the future” clichè that so many time travel stories fall into. Interested to see where it goes from here.

Amazing episode, I was so happy to see Draken pulling through. Mikey tried to put on an optimistic act but he cried of relief when the doctors said Draken will be okay T_T

Akkun in the present not being depressed and even starting up his own hair salon made me so happy. Hina is alive too! There must be a catch though, things are too easy and there's another cour left, not to mention the manga is much longer anyway. For some reason Takemichi will have to go back and change things. Something to do with Valhalla gang probably. Can't wait to see what will happen next, and Hina's reunion with Naoto and Takemichi of course.

I had a similar doubt in a much earlier episode. (where Naoto apparently knew about something being different in the current timeline from the previous timeline) perhaps it has something to do with the fact that this time-traversal power is facilitated by the link between Takemichi and Naoto so both of them can retain knowledge of different timelines? This does require some further explaining.

how can he even think it's over?
It's not like whoever made plans to take Toman for themselves, I guess Kisaki, guy from first or second episode that walked past Takemitchi, will just stop after one failed attempt...

I also find time switch annoying as hell. Here we see adult Takemitchi was functioning properly, so why need to return to future?
Also what is young Takemitchi doing when he is in future? Does he go back to his default past, running away from everyone? He gets to be part of Toman but what for, when he immediately abandons it to go back into future ...
Like, he was there all cool giving gift to Hina, then he shakes Naoto hand, does his young himself go back to original Takemitchi - abandoning Hina right there, leaving all delinquent stuff and running away from everything? He must seem crazy and untrustworthy to everyone, especially to Mikey and Draken if his personality goes to totally different mode and he does not remember anything. How could that end well, if his mind goes back to his young self and he does not remember anything, it must cause lot of problems... and if he remembers everything as his own actions, it would still create some confusing situations...

And why didn't Takemitchy tell Mikey that Kiyomasa betrayed Toman, teaming up with Moebius and stabbed Draken?? >.< I guess guy on bike can forward info about Kiyomasa but still...

I was so hopeful when Draken said in the ambulance that Takemitchi saved his life.. And then the cardiac arrest happened and my own heart just fell to the floor..

Pretty good episodes were a lot of emotions ran high.

Honestly after all these events, Emma should just confess to Draken already.

So the present has changed with Draken being kept alive. Akkun is still alive as well and I didn't expect Hina to be saved already. Honestly there's so much I want to see now in the present day. Hina, Mikey, and Draken & Emma as a couple.

Oh man this was a pretty intense episode, Takemichi and his friends were able to fight against Kiyomasa's gang until the cops and the ambulance came, but then Draken went into cardiac arrest, and luckily, he was able to survive

It was really nice seeing everybody celebrate Draken being alive and it was also cool to see the changed timeline, and it was really nice to see Akkun and Takemichi meeting with each other ,and Takemichi being Akkun's first customer

Overall, found the episode to be pretty heartfelt, and now we're about to see Hina as well in the changed timeline, definitely excited to see what's next!

Great episode as always.

Man, am I glad that Draken survived. I was really hoping he would pull through.

Loved the shot of Mikey just waking out while everyone else celebrated Draken pulling through. He staying strong for everyone else. The scene with him breaking down outside by himself was quite emotional.

The future has changed for the better. Akkun is a hair stylist. Sounds like Mikey and Draken are still together and most importantly Hina is still alive.

Very curious on how the story will progress from here.
