| Ah...AHHHH, why A1...did you stop making so much anime all these years just to make some BANGERS all the time?!!! The way Lena stops at the sidewalk being bothered by Theo's rant about her, AND AT THE SAME TIME hearing the damned female reporter from the background is just good direction, it's just GOOD. And even though she's being reminded by pretty much everyone to stop playing the ideal princess, she still don't gives the damn and is trying so hard to apologize for her mistakes to some good results. Although Kaie may be gone, pretty much everyone has settled from the last episode's tragedy, and hey they get to know each other's names. NEW ED. Also it's interesting that Lena knows Shin's brother, let's see what's up with that. |

| Continuing off from Theo's rage that's scarring on Lena's part as it is intimidating to bear And some flashbacks with Lena's father as she was taken to the battlefield and how horrific it can be So she finally has the courage to ask them each of their names now, But what caught me off guard was Shin's grin at the end. |

| This was an excellent episode that has established a strong inquisitive character about the ways which we interact with what on a societal level considered natural or doctrinal formulations.Lenas military seniors and her scientist friends reproachs were both logical.But despite that she came out with even more resolve,i like that. I hope Shins character gets more depth as we go through rest of the series.We get a hint of that,maybe even some kind of a twist that'll include both Lena and Shins past. |

| Started with Spearhead Squadron perspective of Theo ranting, as his word really stabbed Lena till she could only said sorry and sorry while downed they asked to cut the connection as they didn't want to keep talkin in para-raid. Shin reminding Theo as his previous commander that he really trusted an Alba won't said those hurting words toward other as he yelled to Lena before. Meanwhile depressed and downed Lena had a chit-chat with her bestfriend Annette about what happened to her before, She kept convincing that they're different to 86 and nothing that they can do and Annette once again asking Lena to join Lab with her, Still not getting the answer and the peace in her heart Lena went to her commander/uncle. And almost same like what Annette told her, everything that she do the bring the justice of 86'll be futile. In feeling uneasiness and despair, Lena finally embrace her thought and encourage herself to properly open up to the 86 processor by calling and talking with Shin at first. As she asking everyone names in the squad and writing in her notebook to properly regarding them as human being and comrade in arms. After asking what her rank in military Shin also started to called her Mayor Milize. Shin also told her the purpose of him being the "undertaker" as he carving every fallen processor into their juggernaut part and Shin kept it until the end of his line. Lena also want to asking for forgiveness to all the member. The transition from Lena's resolute gaze into ending credits scene was lit with addition of new banger ED song "Hands Up to The Sky" by LACO and great Sawano :D After she finally open up to whole squad, boundaries still drawn between her and them as they stated they still different with and kinda hard to emphatise knowing her origin as an Alba's. Still the conversation ended in good way as Lena thanked them for their understanding. Andd.. finally she got the last name from the squad that She hasn't asked yet the leader itself "Shinei Nouzen" and surprised that the processors that saved her in the past and made her really grateful toward 86 and wanna bring justice toward them has same surname as Shin someone called Shourei Nouzen, Shin told her with slightly smiling her saviour was actually his older brother. |

| Lena is definitely not at fault but that wake-up call was definitely needed, curious to see her relationship with the spearhead unit improve. Not so necessary to the plot but too bad we didn't get to see Kaie's last moments on screen . |

| vlad whatever is such a noob. Didnt even ask undertaker's name when she asked for others names. Also, she still didnt send that map??? WTF. I thought she sent it immediately. Any general worth their salt would send the maps to underlings first thing before battle. The fact that she didnt shows she is not even worthy of being a handler. I bet it was nepotism and her father's title that got her to where she is now. Until she thinks of fighting with them, she might as well be a pig in a dress. And undertaker is still the same expressionless person he used to be. We have a hooker mystery at the end, so who was undertaker's sister/brother? but plot seems to go nowhere. I dont think this is fit to be called a military anime. There is no use of tactics and no show of action. Lets see how next 2 episode go. |

| That untouched pudding makes me sad. I really respect Raiden's unfiltered yet sincere honesty when he revealed what Spearhead really thought of Lena. That's really the best way to tell the truth to someone with as big of a heart as her. Shin shows emotion for once and of course, it's not the sanest of expressions lol |
| while it's clear that the mc is putting forth as much effort as she can in her handler position, she's learning along the way from all in the cast just how powerless she is. everyone dances around vladilena, entertaining her ideals, until pitifully gracing that ambitious immaturity with the hard reality of the divided societies in which they each reside. until she is able to assuredly produce fruitful results, vladilena is neither here nor there... and they were tired of being reminded this. it's all fun and games when you ask what the cat's name is, whilst subconsciously neglecting to ponder the names of the soldiers whom you are assigned to direct in battle. whom are fighting your war that you watch. if someone asks, he was called "the undertaker", you never really knew his name. cool grave. nobody expects anything of vladilena yet, precisely because she has nothing to offer beyond flowery words... but that too will change, in the natural progression of events. raiden chose to not sugarcoat his words and came clean about their opinion of vladilena as a "white pig princess". far from insulting her intelligence, it shows an opening that lena of all handlers, would trip over in enthusiasm. also, holy shit. this is one hell of a good anime, i wouldn't be surprised if i gave it a 10/10 afterwards... the directing, the care to detail with the short flashbacks, the use of sound... especially that. |

| The way the Spearhead were speaking, you'd think Mileze was presenting herself as some prophetic saviour who was regaling them with her plans for reforming society from the ground up in a solo effort, but she never did such a thing. For the narrative to frame her as ignorant or delusional is ludicrous. Mileze is content to just be a nicer Handler than Spearhead are used to for the moment, and tries to protect them through the indirect means she has access to. Shinei seemed to be aware of this himself, which is a promising sign, but it remains to be seen if the rest of Spearhead will direct their animoosity towards those who actually deserve it. |

| After the essay I had written in the thread for episode 3, I did not expect for my complaints to actually be addressed. This episode was really good. |
