| Well since I was spoiled by this left and right I just had to watch the episode, and I really liked it. How often do you see romance anime tackle sex these days? Almost never, and I'm not talking about the type of sex just for fanservice, and I'm glad Horimiya is taking a more unique and realistic approach to the romance genre. |

| The pacing of this show is awfully fast paced. There is no proper build up or sexual tension that leads to them having sex in the first place. It just played it too safe or vanilla which makes me feel like they don't do it at all. The entire talk with Hori's brother about giving away her sister is just so weird lol. At least the side characters got a bit focus which is ok. |

| The drama about those 4 days was a bit rushed but the scene in Hori's bedroom was beautiful and I'm just so happy that finally, I see an anime relationship that is actually progressing just like real relationships do. I love it. My biggest problem with this episode is that I started to ship Ishikawa with Yuki way too hard and I can already feel my heart breaking. |

| This episode is clearly divided by two stories. The FIRST is actually a very good showcase of how our side characters feel. I am now convinced that Sakura is my BEST GIRL of this show, just behind of Kyouko. And Yuki is pretty much feeling down since Toru is spending more time with Sakura. And damn it Sakura is SO SO cute, how can our boi not turn her affection? In the end, things did kinda worked out since Yuki also offered Toru her own (Miku-styled) cupcakes. Now the SECOND part...things happened. Miyamura was unfortunate enough to not bring his charger in their family's Hokkaido trip. This left Kyouko feeling lonely since his texts can't reach her that easily. And that scene in the room...I mean after 5 days, it's just right for them to GO AT IT in the moment. Tonikawa, you might have your couple marry in just Episode 1. But Horimiya atleast let the couple BE AS ONE by Episode 7. And spoilers for the Tonikawa manga, they still haven't done it! And dear I was rolling like crazy when in the after credits scene, they DID DID IT. That bite mark shows that Hori and Miya, they are now ONE! |

| Really great episode! Can't believe I just read this part like a few weeks ago and the anime is already in this part. They're skipping a lot of SoL chapters but they're doing a really fantastic job with Miyamura and Hori and the chapters they do adapt. Really liked the little changes they made in the OP. So hard to choose between Yoshikawa and Kouno, they both deserve happiness, but I honestly like Kouno more. Miyamura, you have been marked, you can never escape lmao. They really nailed the atmosphere this episode, I am really looking forward to the next one. |

| Oh don't mind me, I'm just saying my other thoughts about this episode. First of all, what the dude (@Prashashi_K) above me said, you know what I kinda agree with the dude's statement. It was really fast if you kinda think of it. From an episode of them being shy with each other, to this episode where they had their first time sex. But for me, since they've been separated for 5 days, and since it's pretty much the right moment for them to do it, they...DID IT WITH EACH OTHER. And I get that, which is why I'm not changing my score, although I gotta agree that the anime is pacing much faster than normal. And it's been that way since Episode 1. Also Souta, our little bro, just peeped at the two going at each other. Which explains why Souta is crying as he don't want her big sister to go away from him. But Miyamura is smooth, he says that he'll never take his big sister away from him, but all he asks if she could take Kyoko. I mean you've already taken her VIRGINITY, so yeah why not! HA I had fun watching this episode. |

| WOW AM I SOOOO LATE TO THE SEX PARTY. HAH better than putting it off sooner or later. The OP ver. 2 for the final 30 seconds was a BIG change to reflect the great progression so far. Tooru's lingering feelings creating the love quadrangle though: the impression that his attention always floats around (especially) Hori and Miyamura, and then Yuki noticing him and Sakura from afar. The latter's desperation to ask Sengoku about his relationship with Remi though plucks some courage to move forward. Yuki though, is much akin like Hori, and I relate a lot to her for being one who carries a lot of feelings, but never shows it upfront. A facade beyond the happy face when the guy she has a crush for (Tooru) gets noticed by someone else (Sakura) instead. The burnt cupcake from injured fingers for a week's worth of progress, that's nice. Waiting for your boyfriend to come back after 5 days of family visitation in Hokkaido (for a memorial service that the anime DOESN'T MENTION due to pacing), the feeling of desperation is shown fervently on Hori's face after not getting replies from Miyamura...a phone without a charger is bad when your girlfriend is left hanging for very long. AND NOW, the chapter that manga fans have been waiting for: Hori and Miyamura's alone-time...that got REAL spicy. The girls' suggestions are even more scary than horror movies, and that sex scene...YUP. The final scene with Souta was changed somewhat to fit the anime's pacing (though it doesn't explicitly mention that Souta knows what's going on), but I'm fine with that. It's no longer hickeys, but lovebites for "ownership"! |

| Once again, as in manga, the climax is in the middle of the season. Guess what 6 episodes will be? You are right, fillers with little to no progression. |
| OK I am genuinely surprised but the lighting and animation in the newest episode was amazing and beautiful, the character animation and everything. But the way they decided to adapt the ending from the manga was a choice. |

| Another episode which could have been interesting, but ended up falling completely flat because of horrendous directing and pacing, both within this episode and the series as a whole. The most egregious example of this is the whole "five days feels like such a long time" segment of the episode. I can see the idea the show's going for here, but when their reunion comes literally five minutes after their separation the whole thing has absolutely no impact at all. That's not even mentioning the fact that Miyamura's trip to Hokkaido to start that whole sequence comes out of literally nowhere after another terrible transition between different segments of an episode; one second, he's on the roof with the rest of them eating Yuki's terrible cupcakes, next minute he's apparently gone on a trip with no indication of how much time has passed. As for the events leading up to Hori and Miyamura having sex, this again has the problem that their entire relationship has in that it doesn't feel earned as we're not seeing the smaller developments that make their relationship feel more authentic; Hori's monologue about all the smaller things she likes about Miyamura would have worked far better if we'd seen them interacting more meaningfully to show off those traits. Instead, the show decides to just exposit it cos it knows it's got most of the audience dancing in the palm of its hand. The side characters are infinitely more interesting than Hori and Miyamura are, but that's mainly because of the slower, more low-key development they're receiving by virtue of having barely any screen time: because of that, the progress being made is far more visible and feels far more natural than the titular coupling ever has. Really do like both Kono and Yuki from what I've seen of them so far and am sad to know that one of them is going to end up heartbroken as they both try and get closer to Ishikawa. |

If author just put more of side characters development and left this for the last episode - it would be great. But for something named "Horimiya" the lack of progress between Hori and Miamura is unforgivable in my opinion. |

| The time for the side characters to shines were real. Yuki, and her dilemma, i feel that. You were not ugly, Yuki, you need to express your mind better than before, like her. Yep. Glad to see that Sakura finally had a good courage to expressed her feeling. That Sakura cookie, tho. Lmao. Tooru, just move on from Hori-san, and enjoyed those two chicks that ready to served you better. But, honestly, i feel like Yuki's chemistry with Tooru resemblance a bestie relations rather than lover with those kind of dynamic interaction, and more importantly to stayed that good connection around the gang. Its not like i am aggree with Sakura more. But, well, let Tooru handled with his own feeling around that pretty chicks. Or, he can't even choose? *hands up!* The second part, tho. Lmao. Ey, ey, ey. What had you done, young lads? Lmao. Good shit, and pretty much obvious. I can't trust my reading eyes against some commenter, until i saw the scene by myself. But, man, that was obvious!  A thirsty teen really need something to get off. Then Hori-san proved how fast she grew up after whats happened lately. Really *chef kiss style* |

Even tho Hori couldn't act cute, it doesn't matter to Miyamura, because. And finally we got the sex scene, raining is always giving a good vibe to do something warm, lmao. Glad they adapted everything, including the bite mark reveal scene. XD |
| Glad to see Sakura starting to make a move on Ishikawa. Glad to see Miyamura and Hori continue to develop their relationship as they have sex. But seriously, who bites when they have sex though? Overall, this was a good episode. |
