| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I guess nowhere really is safe in this show, with that deadly disease. Meanwhile, the revenge theme is still carried into this episode and now is a slave and master duo on their adventures. How strange this journey became and the violence continues. They're also starting to introduce other characters with Setsuna. I expect even more to get screentime soon. |

| Keyaru's journey of revenge starts with Flare, but with the temperament of the kingdom, his approach must be careful. And remember the Heroes Blade and Bullet alongside Flare before the whole time change? Yup, as bad as Flare is, they are no different in being obnoxiously vile...as bad as a past dream was. Helping a town Heal its poisoned water to make an antidote, and then using it for trade, a calculated plan to purchase a slave as a shield when push comes to shove. And that slave...an ice wolf combat girl named Setsuna. Getting someone like her to add into Keyaru's revenge plot, the rabbit hole goes deeper than ever. Right now, just waiting UNTIL THE UNCENSORED VERSION COMES OUT. Following the manga adaptation of the LN instead was a right call...until another definite moment comes around. |

| Damnnn they’re still including everything in the anime, that’s a really bold move. It looks like we’ll see part of torture they have done to Keyaru every now and then. The torture they showed in this episode was gruesome. Every character we saw so far is getting what they deserve. That doesn’t make Keyaru the good guy though. |

Crazy flashback dream there, more and more of the tortures showed, no wonder his thirst of revenge is at the highest peak at all time. And finally nice to see Setsuna made an appearance there. Very glad the anime didn't left out any of them, despite the backlashes, I hope they keep it up. Also waiting for the uncensored ver. aswell there, hahaha. |

| With every episode passing by one learns Keyaru's past life. Dang was he beaten badly. Watching him take revenge is so much more satisfying as he gets to pay back these people who beat him. Well Keyaru has a sex combat slave now. Guess he's letting Setsuna, the slave get her revenge. He's also building a harem xD. |

| They made the Freya scene a lot better in the anime than in the LN/manga lmao. Keyaru was going to town on her like it was his last meal, my MC fr. On a more serious note, this episode does a good job of making you even more sympathetic to Keyaru’s actions. Not only was he emotionally and physically abused, but being raped/sexually assaulted on the daily by 3 people.. it’s a miracle he lasted as long as he did. Can’t wait for setsuna next week. |

I can't tell if it originates from poor directing and storyboarding or just a lack of animation talent. But this episode having such long stretches of barely anything happening on-screen desperately needs some character acting or something. Constantly falling back on stills with lip flaps and the same stilted walk cycles. The character's insist the food in the inn tastes good but it doesn't even come with an facial expression to drive the point. Even the negotiation could be made visually interesting (Look at kaguya-sama) but this show insists on the most visually boring thing possible. If by clean you mean sterilized of all personality. You are correct and that's a bad thing. |

I'm glad that revenge is still the main driving force of the show; I was afraid it was going to be a 2 episode wonder just to set up the series and then we move on to some dumb adventures. But nope it's continuing on and we get some pretty graphic flashbacks to see where our protagonist's motivation for revenge is coming from and I dig it. That after credits scene though; while I do want our guy to chill and relax and not have to worry about anything especially after his brutal life as a slave, I kind of do want everything to be found out by the end, and have him overcome it once and for all. Maybe flare will regain her memories eventually and then protagonist dude (I literally just forgot his name sorry) can exact revenge again on her- part 2! Anyway I hope this doesn't turn into shield hero where it has a great set up and then turns to trash. I am glad that our mc does seem like he could handle a situation- shield hero dude was kind of a pushover, even when he had his corrupted shield whatever it looked like he just broke a limiter but really it didn't do crap. Idk, just please be better than shield hero LOL |

| It's so ridiculous and stupid that I genuinely laughed my ass off. Unironically the best comedy I've watched for a while. What's funny is it takes the whole "demihuman slave trade thing" more seriously than Shield Hero where the good guy even befriends the slave trader like its no big deal. I wouldn't call this show shit. If it were I don't know what Shield Hero would be. |

Besides, loads of isekai's has female demi human slaves. The author is male, he has also written quite a few good stories beside Kaifuku. |

| Not being funny, but this is genuinely one of the best anime this season. Like I can't believe how fast this went. Everything about this is soooo dumb, but it is a good kind of dumb. I just really want to see how this will play out. |

It isn't like Shield Hero or Goblin Slayer which got a lot of flag for the things they thought were okay to show, but this anime already knows that what it does is wrong so it goes full force. People who are supose to be outraged about it just... don't give this anime the attention it wants. "Don't feed the trolls", as they say. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a dumbfuck site who falls for this obvious outrage anime and makes an article about, restarting the whole argueing process (but this time in the mainstream circles), but I hope websites are smart enough to not fall for this.
