That instrumental theme was used before Endeavor had moments in the series and still used afterwards with him even off the screen for other character moments. It only becomes "his theme" with the lyrical version. We know what's going with the studio, there is a divide of attention between the movie and TV series so obviously something has to give.

Its gone forever? Cause in Tamaki's (one of the big three) case, he got his quirk back in a short amount of time and was able to fight back against those three of the eight bullets.

I can't believe how dirty they did Mirio especially knowing he will never comeback into the story in the same capacity again. What a shame.They could have at least added texts here and there to make the episode more emotionally provoking. Such as letting the audience know he was fighting quirkless for 5 MINS!!! in those flashing panels at the end.There was a video someone uploaded a year back on youtube in which the user made essentially an MMV of that arc focusing on from when they first meet Eri,the crushing blow of Deku and Mirio finding out the truth in the meeting room,till the conclusion of Mirio's fight with Overhaul. I went scouring desperately through the web for the last two days trying to find it since but sadly to no avail. The MMV was 100x better than the episode in terms of making your heart bleed for the 3 main characters.You guys had to see it. The series of videos really highlighted the relationship between Mirio, Deku, and Eri along with the flashbacks regarding Mirio's past.He only used the MHA soundtrack and queued it up amazingly with the panels.After having watched that I couldn't wait what they were going to do with it in the anime. I'm sure people were emotionally provoked by this episode but this should of been on the level of Deku vs Muscular. The episode was not bad ,but it is so sad how dirty they did him compared to what it could of been with just putting a little bit more effort and thought into the episode.I feel like this was probably top three moments in the manga.

Lemillion proved Overhaul's ambition(Hero syndrome) useless. He loses his quirk but he is and always is Lemillion. Don't let anything stop you from achieving your dream.

No amount of animation could change the impact of Mirio charging at Overhaul, the desperation was insane, the backstory was touching, the music overwhelmed me and Lemillion rose to the occasion, Lemillion the "Quirkless" Hero.

It's guaranteed, Mirio is Tintin's son. Why did Mirio's father quit being a hero? I think he was genuinely scared that he might one day die from his own quirk(like he implies) and leave Mirio alone, so he gave up on his dream for his son and later second-guessed none and helped his son reach his goal, what a father.

This was the best way to end the previous decade. And the next episode's going to be the best way to start the decade.

I have mixed feelings, I know the episode is good, but somehow, I think that the fight between Overhaul and Mirio could be exploded a lot more, I don’t know, but I had no fluidity, fast movements, especial effects, and we’re watching a fight with superpowers, it kinda let me down. I’m getting worried about the anime/manga not improving the fighting system beyond who hits harder. Also, some things occurred like, at the same time, but well.

Mirio vs Overhaul has alot of strategies and its not a "who hits harder", people didnt notice that because BNHA didnt explain these strategyes, while animes like HxH(2011) we know them because of the explanations, for example quirkless Mirio dodged the Overhaul left hand hit and with that movement he used the gravity while falling to do a unexpected punch in Overhaul face! These little details are easy forgetable and thats sad because BNHA like HxH has alot of strategyes in their fights :/

Exactly, I didn't notice that, then, I'd appreciate if the anime could take the time to explain/focus on that details that enrich a battle sequence, and changes it from being forgettable to be awesome. I liked more the battles in season 2, for example. I hope I'm wrong with the "who hits harder" phrase.

wow. why did i wait to watch this episode? holy shit. i'm absolutely blown away by the animation for lemillion vs overhaul. that went beyond my expectations - with the slideshow part and the fucking MUSIC! that was some incredible work by yuki hayashi right there. i felt every emotion the characters were feeling with the music and the voice acting. god, it was just amazing. i can forgive bones for putting their budget on the big fights now lol.
