| Okay, so it took me longer than most people to star watching No Game No Life... I regret. On this first episode, you can already suppose how much action is going to take place in the show, and that was simply amazing. Besides, the characters are well explored and (uh, so) captivating. The artwork is also very good, although sometimes too bright. |

| Finally decided to pick this one up after hearing about the hype and seeing the ridiculously high rating. As someone who's not a huge fan of gaming based anime, this one is no exception. Storyline is meh and characters feel similar to SAO (doesn't help that the MC has the same voice as Kirito.) Hopefully it gets better but honestly I'm not expecting too much. |

| This is completely off topic but I swear to god the guy who voices the main character did voice quips for the Japanese units in Age of Empires 3. Someone check the credits of AOE3, I'm too lazy. |

| Interesting... Sora looks pretty badass. Shiro is very cute. The art is nice. I like this idea of solving problems with games. And I really like how the only things those 2 played for (to survive) are electronic devices and chargers. :)) |

| Very interesting start. Definitely looking forward to watching the rest. Didn't really enjoy the incest vibes. The fanservice wouldn't really bother me if they weren't bro and sis. I will never like sibling romantic relationships, it's just weird for me. |

| This just might have been the most beautiful colour palette I have seen in an anime. The animation itself is not that impressive, but those colours - just wow. For me the way an anime looks plays a huge part, it's one of the reasons I rated Guilty Crown so high for example. And the main guy based off Light from DN makes this pretty damn nostalgic too haha. |
| Well, this was entertaining but high levels of suspension of disbelief I feel is required from me. For a neet with a communication disorder the main male character sure is good with people. Also we never saw how he cheated when he won the card game, I don't like that kind of stuff. Anyway, I will continue with it just because it promises to be quite entertaining. |

| There's so much hype surrounding this show that I had to check it out for myself. Interesting first episode and I Iike the colours they use. Having said that, the whole 'genius' siblings act is a bit hard to buy. I wish they were less competent, so to speak. |

| Just from the first episode I can say.. This is one of the best adaption for LN in a long time. Yeah there are changes here and there but it fits in alright.. Their voices suit them.. visual and animations are attractive.. soundtrack awesome. Considering the story and adaption quality.. no surprise it's highly rated. |

Queen, who cheated, got rekt by Blank, who's apparently only two people and not four. Lol, Sora tries to control all four characters by himself. Woah, there are 10^120 states possible in Chess. And Shiro knows them all. Welcome to Disboard, the world of Tet, the god of play. Hmm, the ten pledges seem interesting. Welcome to Elkia, where the next king should be the best gambler. Here we have Sora beating some chick in Poker using a cheat to get that 1 in 6,150,000 chance. He's also pretty good at negotiations. And he has eyes that are very observant. And over here we have Stephanie Dora vs Kurami, who cheats to win. Aaaand almost naked Stephanie Dora. "Aschente!" <-- New catchphrase. |

| I really enjoyed this first episode. The animation looks nice though it will take me a little while to get used to the art style (its colors look a little weird). The fantasy world they go into is really interesting and hey at least the world is somewhat peaceful (though I do like the ten pledges). |

| The colors! They must be trying to make viewers experience the pain of hikkomori in a darkened room. For the full hikkomori experience, see "Welcome to the NHK", which starts with the same concept, but doesn't provide the characters with an escape into a fantasy world. Their "Balanced Friend Block" snack is a spoof of a real product.  "Balanced Friend Block"  The real thing Most convenience stores in Japan carry it, it's popular with Japanese salarymen who eat at their desks, and you can get it at Nijiya Market in the US. It's a fortified bar of shortbread - humanoid chow. Eating it by choice says "I have no life". |
| Being a fan of the .hack series back in the day, and more recently Sword Art Online and Log Horizon, this series has been on my "to watch" list for awhile now. I am SO glad I finally got around to watching it! I should have done this months ago!! The first few minutes had me sold with the character designs and battles being a nice mix of fantasy and sci-fi.  I love this rip off "Calorie Mate" renamed to "Canari Moteru" ("pretty popular"), haha. Chocolate Calorie Mates are one of my favorite snacks too but I haven't learned how to control game characters with my feet yet though... Also haha typed up my comment and then came here, oldskoolpunk and I caught on to the same thing. I actually eat Calorie Mate by choice though when hiking or fishing, it's a good snack like a power bar when you're out and about :P Anyway, I think the main characters view of the real world being a "crappy game" is extremely immature, but I look forward to seeing where this series is headed!
