So we finally reached the end of the tournament arc. I forgot how short the fight between Bakugo and Todoroki was.

Kind of disappointed at the end there, we didn't get the full emotional impact when Ochaco sees her parents. At least we saw Deku's mom.

Can't wait for the next arc, Iida has a big emotional part to play.

Also we got to hear BakuMom at the end there. She is the best tomboy mom.

Bakugo talking to Todoroki in the waiting room was amusing. Todoroki lost because he doesn't know if he wants to be a hero or not. Bakugo is very pissed. He's not happy he won. Iida seeing his brother was emotional. I'm glad he's okay. This was a very tournament arc. I loved it. The fights were amazing. Uraraka's parents came running toward her was terrifying xD Looks likes Class A is going to pick names next week.

The final battle was really disappointing. It started very good, but the ending was really anticlimatic. If only Todoroki would havegiven his best less emo during the fight...
I can totally understand Bakugou.
iida will be important in this next Stain arc, and I hope to be right, since his character hasn't doing something outstanding in the series. is his moment to shine.

On another note, Todoroki's mom is such a MILF. His sister is also cute.

Todoroki's character was lit this season. I understand not moving on that quickly, because it would be pretty bad if he moves on alone while his mom is trapped in the past.

Great end to an amazing arc. There's so doubt that this Sports Festival arc elevated BnHA on a new level. Though there's little-to-no plot progression, this arc does a great job in showcasing the characters and their unique powers and how effective it is when fighting with others. Plus some characters got solid character development, like Uraraka and Todoroki. The animation quality was great throughout, with episode 10 being the pinnacle of Nakamura animation. Todoroki vs Bakugou didn't go as planned. Lol at Bakugou's agressive behaviour XD

Who could guess what the ending of this arc would be like this xD
Poor Bakugo, for him this is worse than losing xD
Glad that Midoriya helped Todoroki, and i hope everything goes well for him and his mother now.
Iida's brother is alive!!! yes!

And let's not forget this face, the face of happiness:3

Bakugou is the best, I love his attitude. Also, I think best mom had an offscreen line in the extra scenes.

Loved this arc overall, tournaments are life.

The fight ended faster than I thought it would.
Bakugo doesn't win even if he wins haha

So, did Iida's brother die or was he just very badly injured? That part was kinda out of tone with the rest of the episode. Way too dramatic.

After the credits when Uraraka got home I really got scared for a moment, but all turned well.
Now is the calm before the storm huh...

Great episode.

The final match was anticlimactic but medal ceremony was sure fun XD
I'm honestly glad to see Tokoyami up there. The guy is so cool and level-headed that it makes me want to root for him in every fight~

Good to see Todoroki going to meet his mother so that he can mend things up and have a fresh new start.

Ochako was so cute after meeting her parents <3

Also that last Bakugo moment.... A good angry face needs whitening teeth to accompany that look XD

So the winner was decided right when the episode began...
It's not surprising that they gave Bakugo the title after he made that pledge, and it makes sense that Shoto was in the midst of a predicament of his own. Bakugo might've edged past Shoto at his max but that's debatable, but I do feel they rushed the fight and the fact that they only let it go on for half an episode, there should've been a buildup for atleast one more episode but they just went for it to fill the twelve-episode slot. The second half of the episode was a continuation with a seemingly hurried conclusion of "Shoto Todoroki: Origins."
Overall the episode was downplayed by these factors is my thought, but I'm looking forward to the upcoming arc with Hero Killer Stain being the main antagonist.

And that ending bit of scene at Ochaco's apartment, made me jump the fuck out of my chair!

Some really great moments in this episode.

Bakugou chained to the first place podium! I lost it at that point. Too damn funny! He's SO angry! The least hero-like hero there has ever been XD

I hope Todoroki can gain some kind of closure from seeing his mother. I wish him the best!

Ochaco and Izuku both had scenes with their parents. So cute! Glad they showed us that.

So now the "TOURNAMENT ARC!!!!!!!!!!!!!" is finally over. It's sad, but next episode sounds cool, they get names...

Is Bakugo's mental instability supposed to be funny? Because it's not. Instead of enabling him, they need to send him to a therapist.

.Still, to this day it irks me how Bakugo gets constantly praised all the while being a melodramatic dickhead 24/7 though. It's starting to look like enabling. The teachers should really tell him to calm the fuck down as his fits of anger and jealousy are not hero material. Sadly even in the manga that has yet to happen.

Im not surprised he got no therapy help, cuz look at our number 2 hero, that asshole got praised because hes strong and saves people, so people doesnt even look past his heroic acts. But thank god bakugo isnt as asshole like him. Seeing how well the mangaka has done so far with character development, i will be expecting bakugo to change and become better and more likeable in the future.

Bit disappointed that the "Hero Killer" didn't kill the hero. They made up for it though by not being like most other Shounens with having Todoroki forget about his trauma just because someone talked to you for a few minutes. I'm super freaking excited to see what the next big arc is going to be.

Disappointed with Todoroki vs Bakugo. Salty Bakugo is still fun to be watch. Todoroki only got hot for Midoriya.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

Now that is how you end a tournament arc. Somebody won and yet everyone lost too and have developed from it. With plenty of well executed fight scenes laced throughout the arc.

I'm really excited too see what kind of codenames the characters come up with and how the Hero internship will play out. I know some of the codenames have already been outright stated but I still can't wait to see the rest.

The final was a flop for me. Especially when it's from an prestigious academy. Though the fight was intense. Well I guess, Todoroki is still enduring something. That's good for the character development.

LiSA is one of my favs done some of my favorite ED's in the last few years plus she's worked on allot of Taku Iwasaki composed series. Iwasaki is easily one of my favorite composers working in the anime industry.

He didn't though. He was just injured so severely that he can't do heroics anymore. Though, for someone who's devoted his life to heroics, it's arguably a fate worse than death.

I really like the characters that they are creating here, Todoroki understanded the true nature of help and being helped, that's what a hero do. Bakugo is frustrated, he wanted to prove himself that he's the best of them. The reasons that some of the characters have to fight are really good.

Todoroki's scene at the end is very inspiring.

I'm so happy with this outcome and for my bae Shoto. I mean, he wanted to give his all just to reject Endeavor, not actually for himself, and the fact that now he can start embracing HIS left half and power is beautiful.

Had me feeling SO moved. I enjoyed it better than a hypothetical action packed and unrealistic fight vs Bakugou where he would have given his all despite having a motherfucking lifetime trauma provoked by an abusive father (you wouldn't get over that shit overnight, would you?). No. Preaching the author so hard for allowing him to move forward first.

ALSO LMAO SUCK IT UP BAKUGOU HAHAHAHAHA.

Todoroki's character development is pretty damn solid.
You thought his daddy issues were solved completely so that he can fight with his full strength in the future as the shonen trope goes on. But no it's not done yet. He still has to save his mother , like what a hero does, like what deku did to him, in a way that does not require the use of shonen supernatural power.
Good to see the tournament end in an unexpected way.

Last episode was perfect, pacing in this one was too quick and the scenes were kind of all over the place.

Plotline is solid though, a lot of the fights had unpredictable outcomes. Last scene tho... Urakaka's parents are freaky!

Seriously wtf was that quirk that her mom was using?

Also really like the little recap at the beginning. It sums up the character development bakugo got in this half season, reminding us the rivalry going on among the trio.
If it was other studios, it would have probably been a lazy recap of the previous episode.

Hate to say it but I really agree with Bakugo's opinion. There's no point in winning in final match without using your 100% skill and power. Todoroki is really hesitating when he wants to use his left, but I think it's understandable. I really the scene when all of them meet their family, it shows that there are so mamy peoples care and support them. I think this season of My Hero Academia is showing the real value of 'FRIEND', friend is really important and sometimes can show you the right way, man.
Glad that Ingenium is safe and Todoroki, don't try to run away from your problem again, face it!!
