What a bummer way to go, I mean death by inkstone? No glamour at all! I do say I liked this episode, because Ginko's friend is back. Maybe now that the lady is in the village she'll become a semi-recurring character too, which I think would be cool.

I don't think we'll see more of that Ink Stone maker =P
This was a pretty good episode, I wonder if we'll have some character development from Ginko.

Yehey! Ginko's friend is back! Sensei is back! There's a bit comic here though. ^__^ Heheh! A mushi collector maniac?! XD If anime collection is otaku. Then Mushi collection is?!

I love this episode. It's beautiful. But really dreadful!

episode 17 will provide you the answer. you'll meet the mushi-mail system..

Good episode.

For some reason I reckon those 2 (inskstone maker and sensei) would make a good couple.

The part when the Mushi clouds came out from the children was just beautiful.

What could be better than enjoying a peaceful show and learn Earth Science. :D

LOL to what they did with the hailstones. :)

Sensei and Ginko pair was kinda funny..

And the inkstone maker goes back making inkstone again even if it caused loss of her loved ones before. Liked it.

Great ep, once again.

Once more, Mushishi delivers another of its endlessly fantastic episode.

I believe I was the only who wasn’t surprised to see Adashino again. I had the hunch he would appear more than once in the rest of the episodes since the moment I saw him. He’s really a fun guy.

This Mushi seems to be of the same type as the rainbow one; both are natural phenomena. It was beautiful how it ascended after being freed from the children’s bodies.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

I noticed that too. Coincidentally, both this episode and the one with the rainbow are my favorite episodes so far.

I genuinely felt cold as they were climbing the mountain while watching this episode, which just made me connect even more with the story :)

This was another amazing and beautiful episode. Had some comedy and earth science thrown in and that sensei guy is pretty cool. The ink stone maker was cute too.

Pretty pink puff clouds...interesting stuff.

I second that!

I like the idea of the doctor becoming a semi-recurring character. :D I like him and his "dangerous hobby" of mushi-artifact-collecting. Maybe it's the only way he can get a thrill out of life, since he doesn't seem to see any serious medical action in that little village.

Oh the relationship between Ginko and his pal, friends for life. I really feel bad when children are the ones who are dealing with possible death, so I was happy to see Ginko so confidently find the cure.

Curious how the hail is okay though when it's technically mushi. Wouldn't munching on them release them into your body? Ah well, there's probably an explanation given the attention to detail paid in this series to such possible inaccuracies.

I like how Ginko admonishes Adashino about his hobby, that the creatures are not something to take lightly. And it's good that he does since Adashino learned his lesson. The "cloud" looked quite beautiful.

always so elegant in their presentation
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."
