What am I supposed to be think about the fact that the first episode just glossed about the subject of people only carng about outer appearance? I mean wtf? 3 out of the 4 males started to take notice of the main heroine after she turned cute?
Nad it doesn't seem to be satire or similar. Basically it seems to build it's story on such shitty fundamentals.
On a different note though, it's fucking hilarious. her reactions are gold xD
Yeah, hate to admit it, but life is a lot easier when you're pretty haha. You never have to worry about being single for life and people fawn over you. Sad, but true to an extent.
I think the guy who's been honest through and through for her would be her senpai. Though imo he's the least good-looking of the bunch but he treats her as the same person + bonus points for accepting her true otaku self so he's the best choice. Next up would be Igarashi-kun. He's nice too bc that's his personality, but the difference is that he got NICER and shows interest AFTER Kae-chan got pretty lol. But Igarashi is still my type tbh x)
Huh, thought I would dislike it more than I did, I had a fun ride with this anime, I enjoyed it very much so, and I look forward to the rest of the series ^_^
Wow, Kae going from chubby to supermodel within one week is pretty freaking impressive, what can I say ;_; Super jelly lol.
Anyway, it looks pretty fun so far, although the comedy isn’t as good as it was in another fujoshi anime, and one of my favourites, WataMote. Plus, I’m not really the fan of this artstyle, the chara-designs are rather average too, that’s why I haven’t watched it up until now, even though it totally seemed like my thing.
Igarashi and Mutsumi are the most likable, at least for now, both of them were nice and respectful to Kae even before her metamorphose. Tsundere blondie and kouhai were kind of jerks to her before, and turned nice only when she got hot, I can't approve that :|
wow, thats a.. first episode. wish i could lose that much weight in a week. if i dont take the whole "fat girl turns pretty all of a sudden because she got skinny" thing seriously, i could probably enjoy what's to come.
Wanted to watch an anime about a main girl fujoshi and many other guys , im quite happy , it doesnt change that much from what i usualy watch (harem with a guy and many girls)
But really, the concept is amusing and as a straight guy who's been unironically gay shipped by female classmates, I sympathize with my fellow bishounen.
I struggled to complete this episode. I mean a bunch of shallow dudes (with exception to the green sweater senpai) who were assholes to her while she was fat, now suddenly want her because she's now skinny and attractive. I had to deal with dudes who would make fun of my chubbier female friends for this exact reason in middle school so I really hope they give a ton of redeeming qualities for the other 3 because otherwise this is gonna be painful.
The Senpai and Igarashi seem to like her for who she is, and not just her looks. Although the Senpai seems to like her as a friend and not romantically.
The blonde guy and the younger guy are just shallow people; they better not "win" if this anime does decide to pick a couple in the end (which I doubt).
trashy premise, and 3 out of the 4 guys irritate me to no end. The FMC is cringe too because I was also a cringe fujoshi unfortunately. but i'll still watch it because im a sucker for shoujo anime.
