| sports starts usually quite boring but this one jumped us right into it was decent first episode, poor days being overshadowed by almost all the sports anime this season |

| Nice episode. I thought I wouldn't like it because of the character designs in the intro, but now I'm really into it. Saw Tree Trunk's face for the first time, thought he looked like Kurapika. Gion's cool ("The guy you hurt was just weak"). Together, they have an interesting dynamic. |

| Finally it starts. Well It's one of most anticipating sport anime and the first episode was great. Can't wait next episode for Gion learning how to tackle. |
| I seem to be in the minority when it comes to this episode discussion. IMO the first episode was pretty bad. I thought the characters were very cliche and the animation was subpar compared to what I know Madhouse is capable of (But this is also TMS so I'm not surprised). I'll give it a few more episodes since I'm a huge fan of Rugby, but I don't see it going anywhere. I mean the manga only has a rating of 7.45 on MAL and there is only so much you can do with the source material to make the Anime adaptation better |

| So Edward Elric is going to play rugby here despite knowing absolutely nothing about rugby or its rules. He doesn't even know how a rugby ball looks like. Lol he picks a fight with everyone who calls him short, even the strongest guy on the team which sees him getting tackled and thrown away. And the big guy who looks scary but is pretty timid also plays rugby but he once dislocated his friend's shoulder and they went on to lose the finals. It wasn't his fault though. It's just that this is the kind of game rugby is. Everyone is playing at their own risk knowing well that they can get a lot of things broken and it'll hurt like hell. The big guy shouldn't blame himself for what happened. And now Gion is looking to tackle someone for the first time. This was a pretty ok episode. The visuals were good. This looked purely Madhouse stuff. I wonder what TMS did here because apart from making stuff look crappie I don't think they can do anything else here. I'll check out a couple more episodes. Gion wasn't really an interesting character nor was that big guy but maybe the dudes smashing each other to the ground will keep me in here. |

| A curve including all entries should be of a gaussian form. One including limited entries by picking animes you liked and not rating animes you dropped should look like mine. Amount of total animes each rating should have (percentages): 6-25,7-15,8-6,9-3,10-1  |
| It wasn't bad, but it could be better. Anyway, I'll keep watching it to see if it's worth. The homo vibes are certainly strong, Iwashimazu is so uke it hurts xD |

| Yup, familiar characters without any particular uniqueness. I like the art/animation though. Also, their ripped bodies with their super tight clothes, and butts more noticable than a baboon's. You know the demographic. |

| Rugby anime series, with nice begining althoug the phrase "the rubgy is enjoy", is debatable, is entertaiment, violent although "romantic" for the simplicity, but never enjoy, no matter the sport, in the high school all stop being enjoy, and transformed in serious... Respect to he series, i have to wacht how evo, but for this first episode, was very correct, with a nice drawing and solid plot....8/10. |

| It was so much I wanted to see one spokon Rugby, Yay! Beginning, pretty warm, but I appreciate that you have not seen any character with superhuman powers, everything is normal, I really enjoyed this aspect. Drawings and animations, good. The opening is not bad as sounds. I'm curious to see the next episode as soon as possible so I could do a better idea of this anime series. |

| This looks so promising it hurts. I didnt even hear about this anime until today and i just randomly decided to check it out, and IMO it could be the best anime this season, ESPECIALLY since its gonna be 25 eps!! yes :DD and when they showed "tree trunk" in the library i was dying  |

| Not a huge fan of the tall blonde guy, but I really like Gion. He's basically if Kuroko were to completely adopt Edward Elric's personality, which I like. Tall guy was kind of annoying though. Excited for this. Madhouse never disappoints with animation quality, and I really like the soundtrack so far. Rugby is a sport that should make for some really entertaining matches down the line what with how fast paced and physical it is, so that will be awesome when they finally get into the real games. |

| Seems very mediocre but since it's a new sport i'll give it more time if it were any oft he sports already done to death i would drop it. |
| All out 1: Ok that was cliché a little, but well done. Didn't get much rugby(mostly stills), but there were some nice cuts. The comedy could use more pace. OP looked pretty slick, got me pumped for the game. Overall Nice visuals & sound work. The characters are fun to watch. 3/5 |

| Good start. Since i don't know anything about this anime and i never watched any sports anime, i don't feel hyped or have any expectations. So maybe i will be surprised by how good this anime can be. |

| Seems pretty good. I don't know too much about Rugby(besides it being a tough and high contact sport), so it's cool to have a sports anime all about Rugby. Beats the constant baseball anime we keep getting. Funny how despite all of them being intimidating and imposing figures, they're a bunch of nice dudes. |

When you're very close to that sort of fence (I don't know what it's called in english), sometimes the eyes plays tricks and you can't see the lines. |

| I gotta say I'm surprised, this did not hook me in at all. Usually I find the first episode of sport anime really good at doing so but this not at all. The entire time during the practice, I was waiting for the tall guy to explain the rules but he never thoroughly did. It was literally just take back through post and you can tackle people. Yes, I have no idea what the rules to rugby are and nor do I care to google them. Did they resolve his entire middle school trauma in a matter of minutes? |
| Yashhh, here come my beautiful muscle men. :D Honestly, I liked it quite a bit. I'm not fan of wimpy shounen protagonists, but I don't know how to feel about this MC lol. Though the violent humor works for me. |

i still can't get over this. it looks like he freaking walked out of the hair salon while his highlights were getting made and he just left the aluminum foil on it to twirl. either way, the character designs are so out there that i love them. i enjoyed this more than i thought i would. i like Iwashimizu's character, so gentle, so pure. Gion is likeable too! honestly, i thought iwashimizu had accidently killed his best friend or something to be so traumatized but he just got his shoulder dislocated so i laughed. |

| Pretty good first episode, even if the characters seem a bit bland for the moment. The backstory is common in rugby, but I understand that Sumiaki feels responsible because his friend couldn't play during a long time. I am looking forward to see more action and more madhouse animation. |
