What are your thoughts on The Fine Bro's failed attempt to copyright every reaction video? (Updated)

| This is very sad. I don't really care what the truth is... and I don't think their intention is bad... ...but they f*** up by making it so unclear and direct at the same time. You cannot say such things to the public. That being said, people are stupid. Majority of the complaining audience has no idea what they are complaining about. This isn't something that every average Joe should rant about, having a valid opinion requires a minimum of related knowledge in fields like law (related to the situation), marketing and so on, which most of us don't have, let's be real. People automatically calling them greedy and trashing them overall based on those videos without giving it a deeper thought make me very sad. |

Losing 10k+ subs means nothing to them since they're already swimming in millions upon millions of subscribers. But those subs only generate a very small fraction of their paycheck; It's their sponsors that bring in a lot of the dough—And with how The Fine Bros structured their company (poorly), the loss of a single sponsor would likely force them to lay off a sizable amount of their employees. What this backlash has at the very least done is make companies have second thoughts about sponsoring them, and the worst case is that companies that already sponsor them will back off and leave them to the wolves. Their TV show is also in jeopardy after this. But they dug their own graves. |
