| That was a pretty good first episode, probably the best I've seen this season. We got a good introduction to the MC's backstory, personality, and personal dilemma. The action and comedy were good, but I feel like the action in particular could grow stale fast unless the story improves. In any case, it still holds promise. One Punch Man has been a popular manga on MAL for a long time, so I'm interested in seeing how this adaptation goes. |

| I absolutely enjoyed the animation style during the dream sequence. Thick lines and fluid movements suits this series a lot. It reminds me of the ONE webcomic. The gritty, guitar riffs in the OST surely brings the mood as well. I still cannot believe that OPM finally got an adaptation. It seems so surreal. If I told myself from 2012 that OPM would have an adaptation, I would've dismissed such a crazy claim and laughed. |

| Quite entertaining. That difference between dream and reality though... XD Still, looking at that temporary score it seems like this will be another hugely overrated anime. It's good but I don't think this is an 8.5 material. The novelty & hilarity of MC one-punching everyone is bound to get old very fast. |

| I enjoyed it. I don't know if I'd say it was 10/10, but it was a solid first episode. The enemies are ridiculous and I feel like I'll definitely end up liking Saitama, but I'm worried about how I'll feel later on if everything ends up being defeated in one punch. The dream sequence had he hyped, so I'll be looking forward to more of that. |
| Pretty good opening episode, although I'm not sure how much I liked the random aspect of the episode. Still, great fight scenes and and overall good start to what I hope to be an amazing show. |

| It was okay I guess? Nice to see that almost everyone enjoyed it but imo I found it quite average. The comedy doesn't really stand out much for me and I felt like it was a bit stale. Other than that, great animation and opening. |
| One word to describe this anime: Outrageous!! So judging from the first epsiode this is one those anime where everything is blown out of proportion and completely defies logic. And for something that looks like a kid show at first glance this is pretty brutal. |

| That was hilarious! Definitely my favorite non-sequel of the season so far. Saitama's face when that guy crushed his brother was priceless. Also, that fight scene was incredible! ...and such a troll. |

| Don't worry, the quality won't decline. One of the animator, Yoshimichi Kameda said so himself. Each episode having lots of crazy animation so look forward to that! Based Shingo Natsume and his group of talented freelance animators! Oh, and Madhouse too. |

| ok, that was such a great adaptation.... i mean, the animation and ofc that FREAKIN AWESOME OST N OP... everything was rightly done. I could get this tension out of it durin the fyt in his dream and this chill ran down my spine knowin that it was a dream since i have read the manga.. MOST ANTICIPATED ADAPTATION OF THE SEASON IZ HERE BOIS.. ALL HAIL ONE PUNCH MAN, THE OP MAN.... He is truly OP.. AOTS anyway. It deserves the score and the praise it is getting now . Since it is one of the best in its field after all. Good job madhouse, for the doing the right thing now. |

| The most highly anticipated anime of the season is finally here and it did NOT disappoint! Saitama is such a badass and is hilarious in many ways. The animation is freaking amazing, especially during the fantastic fight scenes. Thank you based Madhouse Studios! The villains are so wacky and crazy but Saitama finishing them off with just one punch is hilarious. His backstory with him facing off against Crablante was short and simple but awesome. He was a typical businessman trying to look for a job and suddenly this Crab monster appears. Saitama still beat the crap out of him with his strength. xD Saitama shopping in the grocery and was trying to find some coins in his pocket when everyone left and the gigantic brother destroyed the store was gold. Saitama's dream was so believable and got me so hyped! This is what Saitama really desires, an actual long-lasting and worthy fight. Such a shame it was a dream though,but the Earthlings did end up appearing but they were so weak and retreated lmao. xP The OST in this anime is so freaking heroic and hype, so PERFECT! The OP is also so damn heroic and very fitting, HEROOOOOO~ The ED is a lot more different and sounds very nice! Genos appearing at the end, can't wait to see him next week. This definitely lived up to the hype and I can't wait for more. 5/5 |

| Lol that superb animation and art tho. Really liked it. Saitama looked more cool with his hair. Tho he's made out bald now for comedy purposes which I don't mind it at all :D Dunno about others, but I really feel bad for the citizens of the city :/ |

| First episode was a little disappointing to me. MADHOUSE added dark notes that weren't in original comic, it ruins the parody! OPM is not about the drama (but when it has some - it's better than what we had here) Action parts were animated great though, thx to this thread I rewatched ep without skiping. |

Because the art in the manga is god tier, it is hard to keep up with it. OT: Good adaption, and goddamn I can't wait for my favourite hero: The License-less Rider to get animated. |

| Holy shit, now I haven't read the manga so was just somehow excited about this show based on what I heard about it but it didn't just met all my expectations, it surpassed them! The visuals are impressive, the soundtrack is great, some of the villains seem ridiculously hilarious(dat crab man in underwear) and while I can't say this for sure after just one episode, but I kind of took part of it as an anime that takes a few shots at those Stu characters or generally overpowered ones. Saitama basically say's what a good portion of the audience feel's when watching those: "Fear, tension, joy, anger...I don't feel them anymore." I'm so fcking hyped for the next ep! |

| My thoughts about this pilot episode: Okay, The adaption of the manga and it's animation was really great. The OP song and it's animation was good. And the ED song and it's animation was fine. So I'm definitely gonna watch this anime till the end. And I can't wait for the next week's episode! And it's fucking terrible that MadHouse Studio just gonna make this a cour! Fucking damn it! |
