That would be a bit redundant I think.. perhaps something 'else' is lost. you don't have to lose a person you can as noted lose a 'sense' or maybe a memory? or something more abstract - heres hoping the ending is 'happy' and not a mess

I think this has to deal with the consequences of time travel. Shu gave up the time he would spend with Yu and Ayumi to reforge the future, as well as his eyesight. In this same sense, Yu gave something else up too.

Yu and Nao became closer; Yusa and Takajo seemingly became friends; and Nao's brother went on the road to recovery... This all happened as a result of Ayumi's death. Without her death, lots of things never developed. And while we have yet to see Sala in this newly created space, it is entirely possible that her perspective of Yu will be completely different from previously (Yu knowing the future/knowing his true power), and with that, there is no guarantee that Nao's brother will be set on the road to recovery again.

Then again, just as Shu showed through his perseverance, it is entirely possible to rekindle these same bonds, but whether or not Yu can do it is probably up in the air for the time being.

Well we certainly are thinking along similar lines - Its a wait and see I just like I said dont wish to see this end all messy I want it night neat and if possible happy Nao with Yu and all the characters surviving might take some DEM to get it done though.

Also am I the only one who taught something bad was gonna happen to them after Yuu just saved Ayumi before Kumagami and the other girl appeared?

What Shunsuke did was beyond admirable, but it is somewhat sad that even though he did great the most ideal path, he can't see it physically anymore.

Seeing Yuu saving Ayumi was pretty cool, using that means to get stop the girl.

Though the most interesting part was regarding on what happened after Ayumi's death, the developments felt sort of wasted even with Yuu remembering it, but being somewhat relieved as Nao was somewhat different after hearing Yuu talk about the future. The thing about her brother, and Nao seeing Yuu like that, can it be the same or perhaps something even more.

To officially meet and join in with the syndicate, can't wait.

even if they don't explicitly say 'this anime has time travel', just seeing SG as similar almost always means it has time travel (or neets)

Man it's fucking amazing how people are manipulated by obvious PR comments. Like what is she going to say, she read the almost certainly melodramatic script (it is Maeda after all) and it was garbage?

This is what I've been arguing for a while. The experiment just has not worked well in producing solid original anime. Adaptations are a different story of course. At least next season it doesn't look like there's going to be any eroge writer x original anime x big budget shows.

I've had bowel movements more exciting than this episode. Awful on all parts. His big brother bought and built the school like it was nothing. He saved his sister, again, like it was nothing. Everything just happens. There's no emotional attachment. Why would there be? This is shameless wish fulfillment. It doesn't even try to do anything daring.

wtf

Considering how many times Takajou uses his ability openly in school and doesn't get caught, I seriously doubt it.

Come on, this way he scares the living shit out of that b*tch, If it was up to me I would have done some physical damage too. I don't know what is wrong with most people, but I think the way they executed the episode was correct. They planned a way to stop the scientists, but it wasn't as easy as that, they went throughout a series of try and failure several times. Yuu deserves a happy life after all of this.

Exactly this, just extremely rushed, I just laughed when he waited until the very last second to save his sister, I was about to have an heart attack thinking she'd die again! At least in episode 7 it tried something, now it's just nothing but a race to the finish line, which probably involves escaping the "evil scientists" once and for all, yeah!

Sigh this episode... pretty disappointing because of the plot holes and the poor explanations...

-> Need to know how time travel effects the timeline. In particular I want to know why the event of Ayumi getting cornered still proceeded the same EXACT way even though the time line was altered by Yuu's actions.
-> No explanation on how kids CAN get ownership of a school.
-> HOW DOES PUTTING PEOPLE IN A FUCKING SCHOOL PROTECT THEM? No explanation...
-> Still no evidence of the relevance of Takajo and Yusa/Misa's character even though we have 10/13 EPISODES.
-> Right now it seems episodes 4 and 5 are wasted.
-> I do not like Nao this episode. Her actions are pissing me off, and she really might be a villain.

Seeing Shun's journey was pretty interesting, and it helps explain a few things, even if it isn't the full story. After all, we still don't know exactly what went down when Nao first met him. Other than that, Yu's timeleap to save Ayumi definitely went smoothly. However, I can't help feel like it went a little TOO smoothly; it just seems like something, somehow, is going to go wrong in the next episode or two. At the very least, I'm still not sure how much I actually trust Shun, and I don't think I'd be too surprised if his intentions weren't as good as we've so far been lead to believe.

Not the best episode on its own, but it leaves room for lots of opportunities and possible story paths.

This "save the imouto" mission went way too smoothly.......so that obviously means, especially with 3 more episodes, that some shit is gonna happen. It's like when I'm doing a math problem, sometimes I'm like "this problem is way too easy for some reason" and then voila, turns out I did it wrong. So I feel like something bad might happen. Or maybe not, who knows, I could be completely wrong. But idk, this episode definitely felt rushed to me.

It was interesting to learn about Shunsuke's past and all the stuff he did up to this point to help his siblings. I wish they would explain exactly how putting ability users in a school protects them.........and go in-depth about how a group of teenagers got ownership of a school in the first place. I see some people saying next episode is titled Charlotte, so I guess we may finally learn the significance of the title, especially since it hasn't been referenced at all yet.

Well... that escalated quickly...

...or not.

All that buildup for the moment that Yuu was going to save Ayumi and it was the most boring and anti-climatic event so far. I thought that they did a good job explaining the time-leaps and their current situation, but that ending sequence put me to sleep. Hopefully something more egregious happens next week.

Great backstory that helps tie things together. I can't help but think of the blindness thing... Sala? Could she have had the same ability??

At first when Ayumi was being attacked by the girl, my heart stopped for a second going "oh no please don't let him mess this up!!" but THANK GOODNESS.

Really rushed, but I thought it was still interesting. Too bad Nao's brother's recovery got undone.

Maybe I missed something, but was there any reason for Medoki to rush to the school? They shouldn't have known Ayumi would die, right? Was she sent in case something happened? (if so, I don't see why she couldn't have just been there before school started like Yuu & co.)

even though i already had my box of tissues ready, I'm really glad i didn't have to open it. =)

but for some reason i have this really sadistic Orobutcher ish feeling that Yuu will end up losing control of his powers and ending up "collapsing" all his loved ones over and over again till blindness.

hmmm, but maybe I'm just paranoid.
