After being disappointed by the endings of Nisekoi and Oregairu I have to say this was quite a relief. One of my favorite anime episodes by far!

Trilogy was enjoyable. By no means anything excellent but enjoyable nonetheless. Episodes toward the end kinda got cheese/corny and the final fight scene was kinda underwhelming.

That final fight was without a doubt, inspired by MGS4's final fight scene.

This whole series gives off Metal Gear vibes.

Yuuji getting stabbed through the stomach reminded me a ton of the Raiden vs. Vamp section. Cutting the couch in half was like Revengeance, if only there were watermelons.

I don't understand why this season is higher rated than Meikyuu. Meikyuu was A LOT better than this crap (yeah, I like Grisaia.. but Rakuen is not such a nice conclusion. So many completely unbelievable things happening and given with no explanation whatsoever... cloning yuuji? sure! overdosing drugs? no problem! getting stabbed to death, still being able to stab someone when you're supposed to be dead already AND surviving the fatal wound anyway because LOL plot armor? sure!....).
Not to mention the Thanatos system and how ridiculous all of that is.

Now it's done and all, I would say,

Meikyuu > Kajitsu > Rakuen

Finale - 3.5/5 (felt fight with clone was forced)
Series - 6.5/10 (there are many bullshit stuff)

Hmm
The only thing i found lacking is Yuuji's affection for other girls than Asako
It feels like the only one he truly love is Asako and the others are just obligatory or something
Though it seems that problem is resolved in the VN
Now, it's just a waiting game for the VN's english release

lol, Kazuki, trolling to the end :D

Great series and pretty good closure of Grisaia series. Of all harem animes lately this was probably the most satisfying ending I got. I enjoyed it from start to end.
Gonna play the second and the third game when Sekai has them translated.

Definitely better than first season, this time it didn't felt rushed at all. And one gotta love those characters.

Fantastic ending I must say! Really loved that and I'm sure going to miss the great atmosphere this anime had even though it had a harem concept attached to it!

In the end the backstory, characters and main story just perfectly fitted together and made it oh so lovely, so all in all this was a great second season and a good finish for the franchise!

Wow. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this second season was compared to the first. The story was much more coherent, detailed and just overall more interesting. The first arc was definitely stronger than the last (and the best overall arc in the entire series) but it was still a great ride. I'm glad that I finally picked and finished this up.

I really enjoyed this series. Some parts were harder to understand than most but... I got the gist of it.

Although this wasn't your basic harem series, I found the blind loyalty a bit extreme. Yumiko was by far my favorite girl and I felt her practical nature could hep stabilize Yuuji's life. In the end, after saving him, I would had more respect if she had walked. Leave the groupies to themselves. That was the only disappointing part, but I enjoyed their one-on-one time this episode, although it accomplished nothing.

I took a peek at the ending spoiler and am glad that was not incorporated into the anime. Seeing that would have spoied the entire experience.

I gave it a 8/10, ignoring the manga ending.

the rakuen adaptation was a disappointment, they did meikyuu and the continuation on the early four episodes of rakuen better.

not to mention they skipped a whole scene with oslo after oslo died.

If i have to rate, i'd rate meikyuu(+first 4 eps of rakuen) >>> rakuen > kajitsu, adaptation wise. rakuen was rushed as fuck, while kajitsu is on another level of rushed

So messed up... Honestly speaking, the harem aspect of it ruined it for me. Yes, it is a good harem but Yuuji doing just about anyone is a bit... If only there was one girl who was a little above others, then I would've been happier (like in the vn from what I heard. best girl had a baby <3)

Overall, I feel like 7/7.5 is too low for it while I don't like it enough to give it a 9. So an 8/10. I do commend the staff for making a good sequel. For an 8bit anime, it was pretty good, too. The animation was fabulous. A lot of wacky moments. Overall, I liked the atmosphere of first season better. This one was too much about mad fun. I did like but nah, mad action fun is not enough for me to rate a show 9 or 10. It did arise some interesting concepts and that's good.

Yuuji ain't the best MC either imo. He had his flaws. He overcame some of them. Others... just became worse. He can't decide on a girl for life. That's troublesome.

Lastly, Michiru best girl but I still prefer JB x Yuuji even if by a slight margin.

What horrible inconsistent writing there has been during the course of this series. I think the worst was the 180 they pulled when we saw the last flashback from the bus accident. Everyone went from "ghoul" "psycopathic" to more or less reasonable people again (compared to when the teacher gave chase)

(This'll be a rant about the whole series not just episode 10; but mainly the later episodes)

I don't get how they're allowed this many inconsistencies both in writing and in physical happening within the Grisaia universe.

I have a few qualms with some of the things that have happened and i'm going to list them in no particular order, and please, if you can explain them please do.

1.
Who thought it was a good idea to drive a speeding pickup with passengers ON THE FREAKING LOAD of an height of 20m-30m height and then to land on a boat... I mean come on... This would have resulted in the death of all involving characters, but noooo they all came out of it unscathed with no injury what. so. ever.
Heck even the pickup truck didn't get a single scratch and the boat? well it dropped a little deeper into the water upon impact but that was it. And why you may ask? Because actually making a valid escape would be too much work.

2.
And while I'm talking about the escape, WHAT THE ACTUAL SHENANIGAN was up with that helicopter scene?! It was idiotic and retarded at least, not only had the pilot gotten explicit orders not to kill Yuuji, as he tried he couldn't even hit shit.
And don't try the "He didn't mean to hit them" argument because let me tell you, the ammo cost for all of the expended ammo? Well let's just say you'll never have that much money at one time in your life (well avg speaking).

3.
This one is not so bad and I can kinda accept if I choose not to logic at all, but... well, how and when did Sachi learn to make bombs and the martial art she's using?
As far as we know she's only a normal girl which sadly watched her parents being run over - Don't get me wrong, that's sad, but not exactly maddening to a point where you think "hey, I want to make bombs".

4.
In the last fight (And first) between Yuuji and Oslo, Yuuji became so injured he could hardly walk (thought he should have died if logic but let's look past that for now) how did he manage to escape the carrier, secure an escape vehicle and get out of an supposedly 1.5km radius of the carrier, in the span of 50 sec? Please do remember this is a person who is barely capable of standing not to mention walking.

Now please do not misunderstand, I truly do love a fantasy setting with fantasy rules, but if you're going to make a work of fiction placed on the human world you gotta follow the god damn rules of physics, even if it makes it more boring; because if it makes it more boring the you suck at imagining things. One could always "invent" something that could fix your everyday problems, like jetpacks, jetpacks are cool.
Or simply implement the common trope of magic which is also a valid thing to do, but please for the love of all that is fiction, do not bend the rules of physic because you suck at making good logic for your world.
It always breaks my heart when I see shit like this ;-;

Rant over, whether you agree with my POV or not I honestly don't care, but if you can answer the reasoning behind the 4 points please elaborate, also for all of you who feel like I do, you are not alone!

I just finished the whole adaptation.
Biggest negative in my opinion is the pace of the whole series, except Meikyuu and first half of each season. But the rest seem just too rushed, un-relatable (they lose impact and immersion).
But on the positive side I kinda enjoyed this series, putting aside pedo/incest stuff. I think that deep down there is a good idea for a story. They didn't bring it out well, and some plots and action are just silly imo; while other are more realistic and relatable.
But overall I enjoyed it enough to want more. My favorite segment was Yuuji's past; definitely.
The show had something to make me wanna watch to the end (for the story and denouement), while also being typical anime which is not very good at this day and age.
Overall score: 7+/10 for now ;)

P.s. Being unluckiest kid ever, he sure enjoyed every mans dream there. Well, it is a harem :) A good one considering it wasn't all tease, I like how they didn't hold back like some pg bull... Way to go Yuuji.

What a great show and an amazing VN adaptation. Loved Yuuji's backstory with Asako. I only wished the show was longer than 10 episodes. The climax felt a little rushed but it was alright. The thing that left me wondering was that do any of the main characters ever age in this show? I mean even after 2 years they all looked the same in the end LOL

I knew Yuuji got his harem when I saw Makina.

Yuuji telling Yumiko that the harem route is the one true route.

My waifu JB continues to look so fine. Damn it, I wish she ended up next to Yuuji. I'm gonna miss you JB.

LOL DAT ENDING! I knew Kazuki didn't lose her hand. She hand in the hospital looked like it was folded. Still hilarious.

I'm so happy to see a harem ending with everything being perfect.

Heath Oslo is weird. He wanted to live, and he wanted to get Yuuji alive. Yuuji on the other hand wanted Heath Oslo dead, and was like 50/50 with wanting to survive. Both knew all that.

So what does Heath Oslo do when Yuuji carries a bomb around that only he (Heath) can remove? Wait patentially for Yuuji to come to him and troll him with the keys.

Even if Yuuji would have died there after being stabbed, Heath Oslo would have to be very fast to deactive them (if thats possible) or get out of that giant explosion radius - or get rid of the bomb that fast.

What would he have done if Yuuji would have passed out in front of the door to his office? Or if Yuuji decided to chill in the next room? After all, Heath Oslo's death would be ensured. Heck, it had a higher chance of success than barging in, especially if he would hide in a random room. Heath finding him in 5 minutes? Not gonna happen. And Heath finding him in 30 seconds (the point where Heath might have begun to feel nervous)? Even less.

And i doubt he had some "safe room" or so there, especially one that withstanding that bomb and is watertight + additional life support for when it gets submerged etc.

The bomb just made a already cheesy scene simple stupid.

Besides that, it was kinda okay. Oh, and Yuuji chose his girl. It's named "Mihama Academy and friends"'
