But it's nice to know I made the correct assumptions. [spoiler]I'm curious though on how they will actually beat Gil though...I mean even if you can counter each weapon how can Shirou counter Ea because that seemed OP to all hell and back in F/Z. |

| Ok, now I call this Unlimited Fail Works. So they went with horrible and nonsensical Vita version. This episode was good until this mage linking ritual. Come on... dolphins, errgh, thank you, I don't want it. Even Tohsaka's feelings made no sense here. I don't want this half-assed scene instead of what really should happened and I also don't want those blushes if they are out of place. If Kaleid Liner Illya can hint that I really don't understand why Ufo can't. And I also don't want scene that spoils one part of HF (though that one is still okay in comparison with magic crest transplant nonsense). I mean, does anyone still cares about the rules how this world works by now? Ufo sure bended too many things along the way that it doesn't even matter anymore. And I really lost faith in their attemp on HF in upcoming movies. There was one high-point of this episode though, it was Saber's confession in the end. I got shivers there. And it doesn't matter this was totally out of place in this route. |
| I find it funny that to certain sects of anime communities an episode that is not eventful = Boring = Bad. Like if they don't see swords clashing and explosions they can't focus for even a second... Like an infant. Anyways. Not particularly a great part of the route even in the VN or Realta Nua. But from an anime perspective we just had battles for way too many episodes straight so slowing down was necessary. But they pretty much adapted it as well as it could have been. And yes, if they had a scene with implied sex it WOULD be completely out of place an awkward. I don't know what some people want it so bad. But I do understand many anime only watchers concerns because they didn't really show what UBW does at all, which is pretty disappointing. That would be my biggest complaint about this adaptation so far. |

| Archer for example has never been consistent. Everytime he appears something has been retconned about him, be it being buffed or nerfed. No matter if it's VN2004, RN, DEEN, ufo and as far as I heard, Fate/Extra. So it's not really limited to ufo. |

There was no mention about a "different multiverse". That was as much "speculation" as "90 minutes extra scenes", or "Rin kicks Shirou", or "Shirou prevents Rin from saving Illya". |

I mean these people are human too they need some down time before they go on a suicidal mission. But to each their own I guess. |

Most people have been complaining about how repetitive and uneventful the last 2-3 episodes were, even though there were swords clashing most of the time. Generalizing and turning every criticism into a strawman argument is just as pathetic as saying "FSN is not mature because teenagers...". Anyways. Not particularly a great part of the route even in the VN or Realta Nua. But from an anime perspective we just had battles for way too many episodes straight so slowing down was necessary. I don't know what some people want it so bad. Slowing down isn't necessary. It's an option, and if you can't handle it properly, you just go straight into the next plot point with Shirou being capable of using UBW for the same reason Archer could use it in their fight. This episode is 1/3 exposition which fails to highlight the team's strategic approach, since they don't even talk about trapping Gil into UBW while the other 2 destroy the grail, and we don't know how UBW works, so we're left scratching our heads. The other 1/3 of the episode is Saber stuff which is pointless if you've read Fate, it's nonsensical if you're anime-only, and it only works if you've watched Zero. The last 1/3 is pure cringe. Literally 0/10 |

Avalon healed him completely... or at least to the point where he's capable of doing such backflips, which is far cry from "verge of death". Now look again at (F/Z spoiler) But whatever, I don't care anymore... ufo will obviously break the rules of the universe in order to accomodate Rule of Cool. You can except similar "stunts" to be in HF as well. |
