| It's getting really epic. I wonder how is Souma gonna beat that guy tho i guess that muscle guy's gonna help him somehow. Good to see that Megumi can cook good alone,she kind of panicked at first but then calm down and did her job. |

| Cool Excellent episode! Erina is so annoyed with Souma its fun to watch the two of them clash! (and also that evil laugh of Souma that Hisako is imagining so hilarious!) Souma wants to play cards, Erina wants to play cards also, but when she knew Souma also wants to play cards, she took back what she said earlier to Hisako. Erina day was just messed-up my Souma hahah! That bastard Shinomiya is now the judge of this test and a threat to Megumi. Shinomiya is an ass because he purposely added low quality cauliflowers to limit the number of passing students which also causes Megumi not to pass. BUT here comes the good part! The Angry Souma part! This just keeps getting better and better! 5/5. |

| Yeah, this dude is one harsh judge. I can understand that her way of doing the dish is not exactly in the recipe, but being creative is one of the chef's abilities. Challenged an alumnus to a shokugeki. The interesting it gets, the more I'm so hyped for it. |

| Holy crap ... this episode was SO FREAKING INTENSE!!! Started off pretty funny with Erina getting all embarrassed after bumping into Souma and even refusing to play cards because of it XD Meanwhile Souma chats with another one of the great chefs and obviously has no idea who the guy is ... seems like Isshiki was pretty fast too! Interestingly enough seems like the name "Yukihira" was known ... maybe he knows Souma's dad? :O In any case the second task was really difficult ... so many people failed ... including Megumi! D: I can't believe he purposely put bad ingredients to fail people ... what the heck. Even though Megumi "fixed" the cauliflower he fires her for not following the recipe?! Wouldn't it be even worse to serve a bad dish in a restaurant? >_< Either way Souma certainly got fired up and challenged him to a Cooking Battle ... oh gosh, his pose was SO intense!!! I wonder if we'll get into that next episode right away?! AHHHHHH I WANT IT NOW! T_T I bet he'll win because Megumi has to come back (right?!) but at the same time I feel like Shinomiya has got to be better probably ... so wouldn't he have the advantage ...? Or maybe he'll win but then someone else will pull some strings to get her back after all?! AHHHHH I DON'T KNOW LOL NEXT WEEK COME FASTER :P |

GG She was just angry because she wanted to fail everyone and did not expect someone to cook something she liked. She's a sore loser, simple as that :) |

GG No, Souma was correct in arguing that because Shonomiya said they're supposed to be Shonomiya's staff, he, as their superior, was responsible for the ingredient-quality available. If Shonomiya didn't say that, Souma couldn't really argue about it. If you're referring to Erina in ep 2, then she went out of her way to fail Souma, there isn't really any doubt about that. She judged him the moment she read that his family had a diner. Her reaction while eating, and how she behaved afterwards should tell you that much. I guess she felt it as a personal insult when she liked his food because in her mind he was supposed to be a second-rate cook. At least Shinomiya had an actual reason to fire Megumi for changing the recette. Erina on the other hand, even if you blame it on Souma, it doesn't change the fact that she fired him based on her pride. Even if she did fire him because Souma supposedly "pushed her to the edge" that's not a really good reason to expel someone "just because" they made fun of her. Shinomiya may be a douchebag but at least he's professional about it. |

| Good episode. Shinomiya is edgy as fuck right now, but maybe we will get a reason to why he is like that, hopefully. Soma is getting more likeable as things progress too. He's cocky as hell, and normally I don't like it when the protagonist is always on top of everything, but he has a fun personality and he is still a nice and courteous dude, as shown in the last bit of this episode. He seems like the type of guy who would be fun to talk with over a few beers. Really liked the direction they took with this with Megumi getting "fired", and am very excited to see what happens next time, even if I can pretty easily predict the outcome. Also, this was absolutely hilarious.  |

| A big ARIGATO to all the users, who told me to reconsider this anime after I dropped it. It really is great and got so much better. I watched all episodes that I missed (2-10) and can't wait for the next! I'm really glad I gave this ecchi-esque masterpiece a chance. This is anime-haute cuisine. |

| Its nice to see Megumi doing the task by herself and not depending on Souma. I kinda predicted that Souma will say something about the Shokugeki, but in spite of that it still felt awesome he said it. Also the part where Erina can't be honest that she wanted to play cards was also funny. |

| Teacher's fixing school tests to purposely make students fail is completely unethical and I'm pretty sure it's illegal too. He's not even a real teacher he's just a student alumni. he's also far too arrogant in that even after fixing the test, when someone using their brain to overcome the situation and create good food he's still gonna fail them despite the fact this kind of ingenuity is what students are supposed to be rewarded for. the only person who should be fired here is Shinomiya. |
