It's kind of early to tell the anime moves very fast and has already skipped or changed a few things slightly. If you ignore the censors it's pretty good and fairly accurate to the manga. I still recommend reading the manga it's very good, though I found that on the earlier chapters I had trouble following the action. It's not that the art was bad but it was hard to tell at times what was a Kagune and was was blood. That get's a lot better later on so no more real complains at the moment. Very fun read. |

| I hope Kaneki doesn't continue to struggle, the conflict he feels is understandable but if it carries on, it will become annoying. |

I know it's too early to tell but the art in the manga is much better, the anime is somehow rushed which is understandable if they want to cover all of the manga . the manga is more tense which makes it better |

| I admit it! Touka is a beautiful badass! Hmm, I didn't like the censor in the beginning because everything was dark, but I guess I'm okay with the inverted color censorship 'cause you can still see it, yet it did kind of hurt my eyes. I love this OP! I also like the art found in the ED. I also like how the OST puts you in the mood. Nishiki randomly kicked Hide, lol. I am so glad Kaneki didn't eat Hide. Hide's awesome! (^_^) I'll end this with EYEPATCH, COFFEE, and more characters! |

| Thought the censorship would ruin it, but it was still a very good, intense episode. | Fantastic episode aside from the censoring for most people. The animation was superb and the pacing is decent. For those who are complaining about Kaneki's crying and wimpy behavior, I'm pretty sure if I turned into a flesh eating monster, I would go insane and have a mental breakdown. Its normal human behavior people gosh. All I can say is, the MC will get wayyyyyy better and turns out to be one of my top favorite characters if they make the anime pacing right. I hope its at 20 episodes and not 12 episodes :P If not, 13 Episodes with a Season 2 and OVAs. |

| Amazing episode Though i did not like Kaneki's constant bitching and crying throughout the episode. You think your the only one has gone through this shit? I'm glad Kirishima beat the shit out of him. Reminds me of Kamille or Amuro's tantrum's in the first episodes of Zeta and 079. I was actually hoping since Kaneki's is a half breed, he would be able to eat normal food like humans do, does making other Ghouls jealous of him and out to kill him. But i guess it's good to show if your willing to kill your friend just for a few hours digestion until the next hunger occurs. I guess Kirishima forced Nishio's corpse and stuff it in to Kaneki since he's probably dead by now. And is Rize really dead?? It seems she's communicating inside of Kaneki's head. Lol at the segment, Nishiki probably eats horse shit alot XD Can't wait for the next episode! |

You mean they just removed stuff from the manga? Never read the manga and have no plans to so I can't say I noticed. Anyway, solid second episode! |
| I loved this episode, I found it amazing. I was so scared of Kaneki eating Hide or Hide getting eaten in general. That was a great fight with Kaneki and Hide's other friend. Kaneki and his internal struggle to be human and not to be ghoul is extremely fascinating to watch. This was an amazing episode and I'm so hooked and invested into this show now! |

| 4/5 Warm episode in terms of plot, narrative good, you feel involved; dialogues that make sense. Drawings and animations good, but not exceptional. Characters yet to be deciphered. I look forward to the next episode to set me up to make me a serious idea on the TV series. |

| IDK WHY BUT I laughed in the wrong moments... Like when Kaneki was trying to attack with his bag... I mean, wth? And a lot of random moments. It looks so messy. I don't get the hype YET, but I think it'll get better and the manga looks awesome (read some random pages lmao but still). |

I'm just wondering.. since he's just a half ghoul half human.. what's the significance of that? I see that he's no different than a normal ghoul except that he can somehow fight his urges to eat humans.. well also he's kinda weak compared to a normal ghoul |
