Nasu WOULD re-write it if they decide to do it. He would re-write it to fit into 2 cours. Also, it isn't harder to fuck up. It's easy for them to accidently use UBW Seiba's resolution instead of Fate Saber's resolution :I |

| I'm pretty sure that any 14-year-old kid who's making his first short film can edit and cut scenes better than the guys in charge of UBW. Rin+Shirou VS Caster+Kuzuki was hilarious. Also, that was it for Kuzuki and Caster? Nothing else? Perhaps in the BDs? What were they thinking? Why should I care about their relationship? The transition from Kuzuki's fucked up past to ecchi Saber was the highlight in the comedy department. This episode and the Gil vs Herc fight are proof that, in this universe, whenever a character is talking, the rest of the world is frozen. Still, Archer vs Lancer was the shit. |

| Kara no kyoukai is better than stay night anyway and I think KNK just has an edge on fate. The Knk films are also the best anime movies I have seen. It makes it all the more frustrating that they can do something so amazing but this adaptation isn't as good as it could be. If the HF movies are amazing then I think that proves that ufotable should stick to movies. Some may say the chruch skirmish shows how ufotable don't have unlimited budget but it's more like they don't have unlimited time. It isn't just down to budget and the quality of the animation is a lot more down to time and talent involved in the scenes. There is obviously a guy or a few guys who know how to animate scenes such as those in episode 0,1,3 and 17. If that awesome guy is working on archer vs lancer, the animators with less skill or experience have to do the church scene. With the HF movies they have as much time as they need to make sure everything is awesome looking and the directing is correct. |

| Lancer vs. Archer was amazing, especially when Gae Bolg was piercing through Rho Aius. That was totally badass! Rin was pretty awesome herself too; owning Caster with her fists. Pretty clever way to catch her off guard. Caster's last moments with Kuzuki were kind of sad though.. She looked really nice without her hood on. Very much expected Archer to be a double crosser, but damn he has no mercy! At this point, he seems a bit more evil. :O Great episode. Good to have Saber back though. Hope to see her in action soon. |

Yeah, I do think a lot of things could've been better. However, I believe time was a limiting factor here. Keep in mind that rating it based on how much you liked the episode as an anime isn't the same as comparing it to the visual novel. I believe the good moments far outweigh most things we could complain about - especially for those who haven't read the novel and therefore won't be bothered by nitpicks. Most anime viewers loved this... just like most of us probably loved these scenes in the visual novel. |
