Well that was fun, especially the fight between Lancer and Archer.

Well now isn't this just something. I think she had it coming to her though:

Liked the fight Lancer vs Archer.
Rest was "okay" for me aswell.
I'm not sure how they are planning to fill all the episodes left with the current pacing though.But let's see...

And they still keep rushing. Holy shit do they keep rushing

You know I am so tired of them cutting out important plot and character development for sake of anime original flashbacks for characters that do not matter that much. Why did we need Kuizuki flashback again when we had no Caster flashback((and it is already too late).

The fight was way too rushed between archer/lancer. It was at least at 3x speed.
And they REALLY toned down the damage Archer should have received.

This episode made Shirou seem nothing more than a cheap replacement for Archer in this fight, due to scenes skipped that explain that Rin did NOT have this plan the first time they faced casta. -_-
On the upside, at least Shirou got SOME Battle thoughts for once. Must be very weird for anime onlies to see screaming shonen idiot have thoughts instead of, well, scream like he did for last few eps.

Rin/Caster was bullshit. Caster must seem VERY inconsistent in power for anime onlies, considering it starts with Rin completely obliterating Caster's attacks(something she should not be able to do) and then Caster sudenly has upper hand. And then suddenly Rin has upper hand again. Portraying Caster consistently till this point would have helped with that

And that Saber fanservice shot at the start is REALLY not needed. This adaptation is really targeted at juvenile teens it seems. Michael Bay Explosions and butts.

People should get now why I was pissed they did not add Caster's flashback. With this, Caster ended up going out like a fodder filler villain. Sasuga, ufotable on shafting one of THE deepest characters in the route with no backstory.

All for sake of rushing as hell through the content. I genuinely have no idea what the hell will they do for next ~10 episodes.

Overall the EPISODE itself was decent barring horrible rushing, but the problems with the content in this episode come from the mistakes done before this - you feel nothing for Caster's death, you feel nothing for her struggle and ideals that were never explored, you feel nothing for Rin getting the upper hand against her either, she for some reason helf off against Casterin last fight(so now Rin feels like genuine mary sue), etc.

Gae Bolg vs Rho Aias was pure awesomeness.

Holy jesus the animation during the Gaaaayyyborgg vs Archers Rho Aias. ;-; so botiful

Rin being awesome like always, perfect waifu.

Hmm.. Kuzuki died in a different way than in the DEEN movie.

I liked this episode. Definitely better than the previous one.

Didn't like the setup for GB vs RA at all.It's like they completely missed the point of Archer barely making it in time.

Hail Ufo. This was awesome! Kuzuki backstory was a bit rushed, as was the Lancer vs Archer fight, but the Rho Aius vs Gae Bolg, Rin beatdown, Trace On and everything else was spot on. I don't care what others may say about this, and I couldn't care less about the nostalgia glasses+fanboy specs I'm wearing. A solid 5/5.

Pretty much everything I could have asked for out of that episode, Raw ass vs Gay bulge was eye watering, it even had lightspeed Lancer and Rin fu. Although Shirou did pretty much nothing lol.

I cry, that was so beautiful.

This episode was possibly even worse than ep 14. Actually nah, ep 14 was a bit worse, but this one was pretty bad, too. Only good thing was no hood Medea and Gay Bulge vs Raw Ass clash tbh.

I agree this episode was rushed to an incredible degree.

Yeah, this is officially at the Vanadis and Grisaia level of rushing lol.

Caster is one of the deepest and most interesting characters in this route. To see her handled so...cheaply pisses me off.

My biggest problem with the episode was the Saber fanservice shot. Really tired of that nonsense.

Very rushed. Kuzuki flashback was unnecessary (especially considering that Caster didn't get one), Fight went way too fast and tf was up with that explosion. Archer's damage was portrayed better than expected. Really dislike how they handled Caster. Waiting for subs for final score but it's currently 3/5

At this point Ill start recommending DEEN ubw movie before I recommend ufo ubw lol.

alright that was so bad aside from the fight, it was holy rushed I can't believe it, I am just glad I read the VN so much happy, so much sad and angry for anime. I wonder what are people's opinions about this anime if we hade studio deen animation. I already know the answer. If answer is changed or something it is instant 1/10 for me

Some people will keep complaining even if the anime shows the exact same thing as the VN.

And that's the closest thing we'll ever get of Saber Lily.

Yep. Pretty much my thoughts so far. Both are rushed and inconsistent as hell, but at least deenUBW does not spit in the face of source material as much.

kuzuki's backstory was a bit sloppily implemented but other than that no complaints.

Not in the FSN VN alone as people are claiming.

As for why Archer didnt kill Shirou first ask Kinoko Nasu.

Didn't have the reaction speed + she was injured.
+ Independant action might've helped Archer

Honestly, I enjoy her as a character, but I have never cared for her, not even when reading the VN.
