So after watching many anime i can say this three things in the animation of many shows annoys me to no end.

Why are the hair always See-Through when it comes to eyebrows? Some shows are really even going overboard with it(I am looking at you FATE and Medaka box).

Is this budget saving? Do the artist want to show the eyebrows for some reason?
I guess when hair is flapping around is a lot harder to keep the specific part of an eyebrow visible while hiding other parts. That needs some more animation budget.

Then we have the wet napkin on forehead. They never put the fucking thing under the hair. They just throw it on top. Damn lazy animator bastards! No sane person does that shit. This is what we get 90% of the time.

Last the cell phone thing. They almost never put the damn phone in their ear. WTF is this thing? It's usually on top the hair covering their ear and sometimes even worse it seems like in a distance.

Is almost 2015 anime studios. Time for this common animation tropes to stop don't you think? Note that usually shows that have one of those have all three of them. It seems their staff is just bad with hair.

The eyebrow thing is part of a lot of anime styles. It's intentional.

The rest don't really bother me, but I agree that it looks odd.

For the 1st one I think you have to go soul searching to find out why it actually bothers you.
It's a really minor thing ain't it?

The eyebrows I totally get. They want to make it so that the facial expressions are easily recognizable, which is more difficult when the hair is in the way. The napkin and phone do seem a bit lazy though.

For a long time I've just assumed the eyebrow thing was supposed to represent thinner tufts or sections of hair in front of their face; instead of drawing a bunch of single lines they draw a more solid tuft of hair but show the eyebrow through it.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the "eyes over hair" thingy. There are cases where it can be quite annoying actually. Many people are fine with it though, claiming that the eyes are visible through hair and it makes it more realistic, but shit, I remember seeing like 3/4 of the eye OVER the fucking hair and it was disgusting.

The eyebrow thing is in the same boat as other anime visual habits, like adding in a plus when someone's angry. It also likely has a use in making facial expressions a bit more clear. I wouldn't doubt that there's a saving to the budget though.

I never noticed the wet towel thing, but I agree that's more odd than usual.

To the phone thing, it would be more annoying if every character had to move their hair before talking, as a majority of anime characters have moderately long hair.

How about when the characters are standing behind a net fence (e.g. around a basketball field) and part of it magically disappears? Perhaps you've seen it before.

appart from the eyebrow thingy... (wich doesn't actualy bothers me that much, just notice it every time hehe) i don't realy mind. allthough you could explain that the hair is so thin on that spot it could be you could see both the hair and the eyebrow (sometime they just float on top. can't defend that)

the napkin thing... wow xD well... i i bump my head, should i shave the spot where i get a lump to put an icepack right on the bump? :D kind of the same thing realy.

when my hair was longer and i didn't have it tied i also didn't bother to put my cell UNDER my hair... it's damn hair! not a friggin soundbarier! :D

First World Problems...

But it's similar to how when they show the side view of a character wearing glasses, part of the glasses frame disappears so you can see that character's eyes.

the eye brow thing isn't even a big issue

i know their are anime when they actually put the fever napkin under the hair

and the cellphone thing. Well actually they are all doing it right because technically we shouldn't be putting our phones directly or very close to our ears in the first place because of the radiation coming off the cellphone.

Well I more meant I can't see the problems in the first place. The top picture maybe her shirt is on backwards, dunno. The second, the quality of the drawing is a bit worse I guess, but you're comparing a detailed zerochan-like drawing to a real-moving frame within the show. I could make a similar comparison with Fullmetal Alchemist with the higher detail that can be found in posters.

The first one is either intentional or a the artist bug.

The 2nd one, even for anime, it's an extremely poor quality drawing, especially for galgame adaptation. A common question is if they can't draw the girls properly in a galgame anime, what do they want to sell? Obviously it's not the only series that has this problem.

I've accepted that people who work on mass-produced efficient conveyer-belt anime productions are untalented hacks who only care about following trends in order to sell their overpriced garbage to as many half-brained open mouth breathers as they can in as little time as possible.

Aren't those frames of characters in fast motion though? I'm sure it doesn't look weird actually animated.
