| I'm a bit late, but... here goes my thoughts on this episode. Think I am gonna watch the preview next. So this is a time jump back to the history of this topic. Nah, I understand why (fanservice), but it's just so out of place. Inaho being suddenly nervous and flustered doesn't help to take it seriously too. Lol. Well I'm glad that I'm not the only one who really thought that scene was plain ridiculous. In fact all my respect for this show went down the shower room drains there. You could literary hear it gurgling down the pipes. This episode... well... for some reason, I started to laugh and I just couldn't stop it. It was so bad. -_- The CPR: Yes for outward appearances, yes that was CPR. But do not be confused. It was still fan service. And I point out that when there are several people knowing how to do CPR, it is usually done in pairs. They didn't want the captain to be the one to steal the kiss from our princess' pretty lips. Changing the one who does to pressing might be bad idea, so: Busted. What was worse, captain was just gawking there and making idiotic comments about immature children in schools. -_- And the fact that princess didn't die, or that the crash wasn't serious only screams one word: fan service. Sorry... it was two words. ;) They wanted to have the overly cheesy confession hour between Asseylum and Rayet, when the girls were half naked and battling to hold on their towels. -_-'''' I was really wondering why on earth didn't Rayet grab some clothes. You would think that fighting wearing nothing but a towel would feel embarrassing and impractical. The one who wrote the script for Rayet and Asseylum. Seriously? I just couldn't stop laughing. :D Too dramatic, too cheesy... too naked. *rolls eyes* With princess dramatically howering. Arhg. This episode was plainly anticlimactic. There was no action, no nothing. And yes... the forced, is this the fifth?, cliffhanger. I didn't consider dropping this show last week. Now I actually seriously consider it. But the good thing in this episode.... Yay! Chickenonthepan, your theory is almost there. :DDDDDD Edit: Watched the preview. So now we switch to big explosions... I was thinking maybe they wanted to do some unreasonable naked guy scene for a change, but.... Oh well, maybe we will have actually some kind of reasonable episode next. Wondrously I'm still feeling hopeful. |

I can't say that the author doesn't give any foreshadowing if that happens. But the problem is the foreshadowing starts at episode 9. Which means a little too late. :P |

I think my brain was so busy with the previous overflow of pure silliness that I mercifully blocked that one. Maybe it is some kind of clever plot device... They shock you so much that your brains literally stops working. -_- So they are free to implement any kind of otherwise impossible plot route. I probably should watch it again to give you a proper opinion about it: to try to feel the nuances. ;) If I don't come back, I probably suffered severe brain damage. Edit: Ok. I watched it. It was total cliché, but surprisingly not so bad. But in context with previous scenes... I totally understand your reaction. It was such a great facepalm-material. :D I think the main problem in this episode was... excluding the naked factor.... blandness. There was nothing surprising in this episode. It was a total and utter cliché. It actually was that much of a cliché that it turned to hopefully unintended comedy. But this is just my opinion. I just really didn't like this episode. I strongly disagree some of the scripted reasoning for characterization, so it kind of took away my ability to consider this show seriously. It kind of subtly glows through my text. ;) |

| Inaho was friendzoned so hard, too bad man, really too bad. So as I guessed the mahou shoujo still lives, and they justified her "resurrection" with actual techniques that are present even IRL. And here I thought they were going to show something more supernatural. Also, Saazbaum is really a more than decent character, with Cruhteo gone I think he's my favorite character at the moment. |

I thought the show would bomb. u mad cuz one of the main protaganoists didn't die? It's not really that surprising, in fact, the only thing off about it was giving her CPR. The choke wasn't held for long enough to kill her. If it was, even if she were revived she would have serious brain damage from the lack of oxygen. inaho isn't cool enough? I think he's a great MC, cool, calm, collected, genius. This show has done everything right. so i guess its no surprise people are hating it. If it really did turn out shitty and everyone abandoned ship, then the same hipsters that are bemoaning it would be praising its edginess. Makes me laugh everytime a popular show does well with the masses. You can't like something that the majority does, otherwise you aren't living up to your hipster, fringe ethics. |

I too agree, going from strangers to acquaintances to friends in like 10 days is already a feat in itself. I doubt that Asseylum asks many people to be her "friend". Did you see the look on Eddelrittuo's face when that happened? Says it all really. Then she goes and mentions again and again that he saved her life however many times. Get a clue, eh? A friendzone would be what Slaine is sitting in, because the term indicates that you've got to have been in that zone for quite a while first. As for the episode, Crutheo is most likely dead, and as such I doubt that anyone, much less Slaine, can take his Tharsis for a ride (seems like those Kats are exclusive to the Knight, otherwise Inaho's group would have taken the Kat-Deucalion with them to use, no?). I sense a reconciliation of sorts between Magbaredge and Marito. I don't see what the issue with Marito is for fans this episode. I thought that his minor monologue fit with the situation and even though it wasn't major characterization, you could say that there was some developments for him on that front. Again I curse the writer who relegated Yuki into a bit-part player in this show. She would have made it so much better if we developed her story, and then killed her off like in the next couple of episodes, no joke. The way she is now makes me feel like she'll live to see the second cour, or die a forgettable death, in which case will showcase how bad the planning for this show is. The way they portrayed the flashback makes me pretty damn sure that Orlane definitely survived the bombardment. Maybe all the debris was clogging up her radio or whatever, so when Saazbaum escaped back to the moon, they couldn't contact each other. I mean, heck did you see how relatively undamaged that Kat was when they found it in that cave in Tanegashima? At worst she got jostled around and lost her memory, at best she survived and possibly sired Inaho (similar character, similar expressions, etc.), but I'm pretty damn sure Orlane survived (perhaps only do die later... hint hint). But if they left the Kat there, that probably was a second clue about the exclusivity of each Kat and how they are activated, otherwise Inaho would be using it by now. The Rayet scene was a complete riot. The princess stumbles over to her pointing a gun at her temple and no one thinks to stop either of them. Heck, if Inaho was so good at sudden take downs, why the hell did he not do it before they had their little talk? How in Gods name did he even get to her in time? He was like 10 meters away for god sake! How the hell he could reach Rayet in time before she shot herself? Is he like the Flash or something? She was looking STRAIGHT AT HIM! She could have definitely shot herself before he reached her, for sure! I dunno, bad writing or shitty plot armor, take your pick. Then we end with Saazbaum basically tells Slaine that all bets are off and he's heading down to kill the Princess. Oh boy, dilemma time, what will Blondie do now? I'm so glad I put off watching this till just now, means I won't have to wait a whole week to see what happens. XD |

So when Inaho made the save I was like: "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!". This is actually quite out of character for me, because it makes me feel that animes are like gladiator arenas and people are cheering for the kill in blood thirsty frenzy... But where was I... Oh yeah, Inaho came for the rescue. And then he opened his mouth and made the pep talk. And I was like... /facepalm. |

This just keeps getting worse, and here I thought Saazbaum had some legit, solid reason for his shit but once again, it's all for revenge. How original. Hopes this gets better. | 4/5 Young, beautiful and strong, looks almost like a mantra, they are always present. Nao is always there, Rayet who manages to disarm the commander. Other than the military, are a bunch of idiot. D: Plot advancing is why we wanted to, the narrative that gets up again thanks to the second part. Drawings and animations good. The premises are good, I hope there is not too soon gooders. I want to see fights to the death and see Slaine lead to bad Inaho! LOL |

| Found it very interesting to hear how the Emperor used earth as an enemy to keep his people in check and away from blaming him. It's a little bit how currently governments find enemies left and right so they can control people and keep their focus away on how those on power take advantage of them. Overall I found this weeks episode to be excellent even if it was just a tad rushed. Aldnoah Zero is my favorite anime this season (and before you ask, I haven't spent much time with Terror in Resonance yet). Big transporter planes i guess. |

| I don't understand any of Rayet's drama if anything it just annoys me. I feel no sympathy for her and her reasons for trying to kill Selylum is full of bullshit. Marito should just understand that when he shot Humeray, he did him a huge fucking favor. Humeray was beyond help that time and killing him instantly is a lot more humane that trying to get him out of that tank while he's on fire knowing that he wouldn't make it. PTSD.. I don't understand it. So what will Slaine do? many people seem to hate him.. I think he's gonna do something stupid. This ED is just... too awesome. |

| Nothing exciting this episode but Saazbaum does give us incite in the war as the title suggests and we get flashbacks of the Deucalion Kataphrakt so that's good. I almost shipped Rayet and Inaho here. |
