| It is the year 0079 of the Universal Century, a half century has passed since mankind began moving it's burgeoning population into gigantic orbiting space colonies, a new home for man kind where people are born and raised.....and die....9 months ago the cluster of colonies furthest from the Earth called Side 3 proclaimed itself the Principality of Zeon and launched a war of independence against the Earth Federation. Initial fighting lasted over one month and saw both sides lose half their respective populations. People were horrified by the indescribable atrocities that had been perpetrated in the name of independence....8 months had passed since the rebellion began.....they were at a stalemate..... Legendary lines spoken by a legendary man to start a legendary series that would change the shape of anime forever and influence it this day and he's the first person to ever speak a line in Mobile Suit Gundam. He was also Netero who was shaping up to be really awesome in this latest arc of Hunter x Hunter. Nobody is going to be able to fill the shoes this guy left behind. :( |
