| Wow, i'm in awe w/ this episode! am a big fan of massive destruction (in anime, not real life, tat sucks, big time). so yeah, destruction of the orbital, really cool, just like the destruction of the first momento mori. then there is the single moment of being united by all the factions and............death of sergei, one of the most likeable characters in the series and the death of that dude who is angsting over Bring. Andrei must die, preferably killed by Marie/Soma. |

While attacking the orbital elevator in my opinion is pretty much the stupidest thing done in human history (faux history, of course), I really like how they animated the scenes for orbital elevator's collapse/destruction. I have no complaints about the mega beam saber/laser or Sergei's death. Well, except that Andrei is a complete tard. No matter how upset you are, to slaughter your dad over a misunderstanding? What the hell?! He's a heartless bastard at worse, not a murderer! You don't kill him! There aren't enough Bright/Gundam slaps in the world to make up for that moment of stupidity! Like everyone else has commented on, we get a time skip. I really don't think that the damage to the elevator did no damage to the Earth. All the mobile suits did was prevent MAJOR damage to MAJOR cities. I predict deaths in the hundreds of thousands instead of millions. That is still a lot of damage and a lot of dead people. With this series gearing up for the home stretch, the writers need to get more character focused. Clearly people are getting the short end of the stick. Allelujah has gotten almost NO face time and almost NO development. Setsuna comes off as a bit of a robot at times and I'm afraid that he's going to start spewing that Gundam peace talk >:-/ @ any moment. *crosses fingers* No pacifist, lovey dovey peace speeches. | The battle was pretty epic, I have to agree with those that are saying this may be the best episode yet. Lot of action and emotion packed into 20min if you ask me. |

| LMAO at the giant beam saber 00 Raiser produced. IMO quite impractical unless you plan on slicing an orbital ring or taking down one of those towers. But one thing I was wondering about since the end of Ep#16. Where in the fucking hell is the sub-orbital beam cannon Dynames used in Ep#05 of the first season? There's absolutely no mention of it whatsoever. Not even five seconds for Sumeragi to even think that it's destroyed or dismantled, in the wrong place, or just to freaking far away to use (or even a lame excuse as to why it can't be used). Hell, no mention about it in the later part of the first season either, and in scanning the threads for Ep#16 and this one, I don't recall seeing any mention about said sub-orbital beam cannon here. |

All of the cast came off like robots,they're acting too stiff in my opinion,it could be a lot better,when they would acting more human. that's the only problem. its plot device here, plot device there. static character here, static character there. the show is filled with one-dimensional, uninteresting pieces of filth that the writers don't even think of fleshing out. the characters department of the show is dragging down the excellent plot of the series. just for a slight comparison, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, while it did have more than twice the number of episodes, it had a much, much, much larger cast of characters than Gundam 00 and the show thrived on this character development. something that the writers of Gundam 00 or any show for that matter should have try to emulate. |

| that was pretty damn awesome!!! all those mobile suits firing into the air like that, cool. and the gundams were awesome, like tieria with the sarevee proving if you can't beat'em, get a bigger gun! and marie got her own mini gundam like suit, but the colonel was killed by his emo son, what the hell?! |

| Wow.....Wow!!!!! The whole world unified for one cause...event he ALaws tryin to save people. What kind of hypocrats are they, first they wanna merc a bunch to cover up there evil ways, but then they help. GRRRR...I hate the ALaws!!! And Andre just merced his dad, but I guess Smirnov had it coming. The 00 Riser Beam saber is insane. Maybe the best episode yet!!! This has become my favorite show, maybe the best anime ever!!!! | Andrei is by far one of the stupidest characters in the show. Kill off the man who even got you as a solider in the first place and your father? The teamwork was nice up until Andrei ruined it by killing people. I don't see the peace that can be brought about by what A-LAWs is doing at all. It's such a round about stupid method. Killing off millions of people and Andrei and Louise see nothing with that and still fight for them? I felt like crying for Sergei. Imagine how it must feel to be killed by your child. And when Marina mentioned her song I wanted her to die. Really, stop with the song nonsense. |

| I was crying when everyone was working together to destroy the elevator fragments. Best episode of season 2 by far, except Sergei (one of my favorite characters) gets killed by his wimpy crybaby son, I can only hope he gets killed of quickly he doesn't even deserve a 10 second fight scene with a Gundam for attacking his father after everyone was helping to destroy the elevator fragments. At least and annoying Innovator died off quickly which was nice. Amazing episode. |

| Although I can't agree enough with the rage towards lispy boy Andrei, it's understandable that he reacted the way he did. He was already a psychological train wreck and resented his father for his mother's death, but then seeing him sitting side by side with the person who he blames for this whole ordeal? It's pretty much contradicted everything he resented his father for in the first place, which probably sent him into a fit of insanity. This episode was just so incredibly powerful. The way the orbital elevator was collapsing was somewhat reminiscent to 9/11, and the way all factions came together was just so beautifully done. Rest in peace Sergei, manly tears were shed today. I wonder if Marie is going to revert to her super soldier mindset as a result. Saji seems to be cooperating with Celestial Being more and more, looks like he's becoming a bonafide member. |

| It's such a shame that such an interesting character like Sergei, died because of his immature, emo son. He deserved better. If Andrei doesn't get court-martialed, then there's no justice in this world. Ribbons Almark unfortunately has no more interest as an antagonist with the standard "rule the world" intention. It's so clichee. Come on Gundam 00, you're the more realistic Gundam, you can do better than that. |

| I don't hate Louise because I think it's only natural that she assumes the things she does. Neither is she annoyingly disobeying the really important orders because of her own personal feelings. She'll get by. Andrei, however, is the biggest idiot in this series. He's a huge hypocrite, sexist and ignorant and he kills his father because of his own stupid assumptions. "Do you really think your mother would be happy with this?" He does really think that, and that's what makes him stupid. |

| It was almost touching to see everyone working together to deal with the debris. They were slow on the uptake though, but at least they ended helping CB. The auto-purge system was great, they really put some thought into this. But still, without the help of the mobile suits, the destruction of the orbital elevator would've annihilated a giant area. Andrei...he never grew up. How can he not understand that trying to save a loved on who's also in the military and prepared for death is not right? First, Sergei would be going against orders, and second, in saving someone, others would've died. Just because your mother might've made it, it's fine for others to die? And how is that considered killing someone when you couldn't save them? Ugh, this kid. Obviously Sergei wasn't the best father, but Andrei is also stuck in his own logic and hatred. Ribbons doesn't seem like he sincerely cares about world peace, but more like he has superiority complex. This dude needs to go. Also, I wish the enemies of the protagonists in this series weren't so easily dis-likable. The only good ones have just died in this episode :/ |
| rip the one enemy we can sympathize with. Things seem pretty good vs. evil at this point. I didn't comment last episode, but I wanted to say that Mr. Bushido is just the strangest made up character ever. Also last episode talk about a cop out when Celestial Being was literally minutes away from getting decimated, only for all the enemies to pull out mid-battle? Ack, anyways talk about an awesome scene with all the Gundams firing together. Also when Setsuna and his best bud Crossroad had that 3 second scene with the 00-Raiser alone flying into space... honestly I love anime for this stuff |
