It was a while ago, but the last manga I finished was RG Veda. It was a tad difficult to get into at first, but once I was in it was rather good. I gave it an 8/10 score.

Ah, I finished Eternal Sabbath about a week ago. It's a psychological drama by the author of Mars, Fuyumi Souyo. Overall, it was very enjoyable. I don't think it fully explored the potential that its plot showed in the first few volumes, and also though went down an unfavorable path I towards the end. However, some might enjoy that plot twist more than I did.

Anyway, despite its couple flaws I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a intelligent, serious drama with a plot rooted in the supernatural/sci-fi genre .

Hard to believe, but Yoshi finally finished my first manga! Well, this is not counting; Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star. That got canceled after 2 volumes.

I spent this morning reading the final chapters of Basilisk. At first I thought this was going to be a short, mindless ninja battle between 20 ninjas. But as the story progressed, it turned into something much more memorable. A predictable ending, yes, but some really intense battles, and awesome characters. Saemon and Akeginu stood out for me as fav characters. 9/10

Started off as funny/okay but became progressively crappier. The ending was really stupid. 4/10. This is the lowest score I've given to a manga (for now). >.<

If you count a single-chapter 1-shot, then Cross Epoch, the Dragonball/One Piece crossover. It basically boiled down to "it would be cool if these two characters appeared together." It's like, it tried hard to please the fans without actually saying anything. In the end, eh. 4/10.

As for a full series, that would be third and most famous part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure epic, "Stardust Crusaders." It's a fighting manga through and through, but damn is it a good one. The use of Stands (basically spirit servants who take on a variety of forms, think Shaman King but cooler) adds a huge dimension to combat, and most if not all battles are settled with the mind, not the fist. Furthermore, Dio Brando, who's in my avatar brandishing knives, is one of the greatest, most sickeningly evil, most memorable, and most downright easy to despise villains in the history of manga. Incredible stuff. 9/10.

Backstage Prince - A nice little read, although it didn't go far from typical shoujo manga. 6/10.

Shout Out Loud! - The last volume was the least impressive to me, (too much angst and not enough focus on side characters) but it's still one of the better yaoi manga I've read. 8/10.

Off the top of my head? I'd say it was Black Cat. About a 7/10. Not quite as good as some of the other finished manga I've read (Houshin Engi, Flame of Recca), but it was a fun read nonetheless.
