| Pft, they don't skip anything, and what I want to see is Top Ten in action because they shine and develop there. Also, an excellent point made with the contradiction b/w training and assignments! Looking back, it sounds even more hilarious, given the trio commenting - Eren, Annie, and Reiner. Or should I say, Reiner, Eren, and Annie :p I don't know if there was a specific artistic purpose of a crappy animated snapshot, depicting a group of celebrating people, but I'd hardly believe the animation of the next chapter (at least) would drop to slide shows and ppt files. (Not that I see how it would stop me from watching ^_^). |

| The end of the episode was stunning. I found it very interesting how as soon as Eren states that "mankind will regain it's dignity", the boss titan shows up to question the strength in Eren's words. It was nice seeing some inspiration among the trainees as a result of Eren's little speech. However, there wasn't even time for the audience to breath. As soon as Eren's group assembles we see the repainting of the carnage five years ago. The preview for the next episode hints of Armin being in danger. I don't think Armin will be killed just yet, nonetheless. Also, the spiderman gears are awesome. I'd expect swords and so forth in SNK's setting, but highlighting the agility of humans, something that most of the giants don't have, accentuates the contrast between the two species. I expect no less from the future explanation of how the Titan's came to be, especially since Eren suggested that they know more about the Titans now. Oh, another thing to mention is the OST, subtle but powerful. |

| Man, right after he said they were going to regain everything the leader comes out. I highly doubt Eren will even make a dent in the guy with those puny swords, North Korea has a better chance at taking the leader guy down. |
| The end, what a great way to wrap up an episode! And that song playing during the character bios, pretty cool! Gotta go find that now. And of course Sasha's flatulence (or lack thereof). |

The original manga BEGUN in this time period, and dealt with most of episode 3 with flashbacks. Definitely dumbasses. | here is something i don't understand and saw this on many sites why ppl compare this anime with SAO? 2 different animes in plot come on ppl anything better you don't have to do than comparing animes which are different levels in everything? sao might had been good for few SnK might be good for others i liked the animation i have nothing to complain in the manga they training starts somewhere on ch 15/16 so i'm kinda glad they put it now what skipping? can't recall ...i think in the manga is the same will be more flashbacks soon |

| Poor Sasha. She gets the blame for their tussle inside the mess hall. She gets to "borrow" some meat from the officers later on, anyway. Annie demonstrates some serious hand-to-hand combat skills there. Especially those kicks... Also nice to see Levi of the Scouting Legion make an appearance here. We're going to see more of him and the other Legion veterans much later. The Battle of Trost begins. Five years later, the war resumes... and this time Eren and company are equipped to do something about it. |

| Damn, suddenly the Colossal Titan out of nowhere. Its like its freaking teleport. So unfair. The introductions finally ends, the real story will start next episode. I don't think they will be able to take out the big one so soon. |

| Well, looks like next episode will be exciting. I wish to learn more about other trainees too... Particularly Annie, seem like she have quite a scar behind her character. Otherwise, nice cliffhanger. EDIT: at first I thought the Titan appearing behind Eren is just a symbolism thing... But when they all turn around, I laughed... "There's your titan, go kill it hero!" I wonder how many soldiers will piss themselves next episode. EDIT: Hold on... Did that thing just came via a lightning bolt again? This seem like a deliberately planned attack now... I smell conspiracy. |
