| I'm a bit confused on this episode. So in the beginning it states that there are three walls: Maria, Rose, and Sina. So Shar-or whatever village Eren lives in, is between the closed off area surrounding the wall and the wall of Maria, correct? It was also stated that the closed-off area surrounding the walls were used to attract the Titans. Why? Was it to distract them while the civilians escaped to the boats? Just some questions I'm a bit confused about. |

| Nothing is wrong with this episode, the fitting BGM, not bad ED, the tension, the emotional scene, Eren's determination, his eyes, the character development, and the pacing, seems prefect so far |

| Refreshing to see anime where they don't have multicolored hair for once. Mikasa is fab. |
| Both of the episode so far have left me wanting to watch more, which is great. The pacing is very well structured and I like the balance they have between emotion and semi-action so far. The art style is just amazing as well. |

When Eren proclaims he will join the military, it is around mid-late year. Then when the time skip happens which is about a year later, they are 12. |

They do look much older in the time skip especially mikasa, but they are actually 12 ==; I kept track of the time in the manga. When they all graduted from their training, they are actually 15. If you have any doubts in regarding to the characters age, you can check it on the official japanese website of Snk. | I really hope Eren gets less annoying and angry. I'm in love with the premise, the world-building, the pacing, and tihe great characterizations, but having to listen to another raging teenager shaking his fist against the world while doing shit really pisses me off. Armin lost both his parents but still tried to gather bread; Mikasa keeps covering for Eren whenever he does something bull-headed. Eren better become more tolerable to watch. |

| This is a masterpiece in my eyes so far. No cheesy comments or scenes. No over-done characters which makes me wanna puke. The setting is brilliant and the artwork is soooo good that I could use every second of the episode as a wallpaper for my laptop. 10/10 so far. Keep going!! I'm expecting some serious extermination stuff from the main 3. Avenge your mother little boy. Slay them all! |

| Yuki Kaji at his best! I really like Eren's determination, I wish him all the best! Yes, he complains and cries, but given the circumstances and his age, who wouldn't? He saw his freaking mother get eaten to death and hes been saying the titans could break in any day now, and he was right. That being said, the ending was freaking EPIC. |

| That gray hair titan was fun to watch. I tolerated Eren in this episode. His determination and recklessness was written decently. The character writing of Mikasa is doing a good job in complimenting Eren's character. Her reasoning compliments Eren's reckless determination. |

| What an awesome episode, having to retreat then Eren saying how he wanted to defeat them and then showing them in cadet training a year later already. I can't wait to see what happens next! 20 minutes goes by in a second! |

| Holy crap, what has happened to Mikasa over that year? That aside, the slower pacing feel refreshing after watching quite a few anime with the pacing being too fast. It also helps the characters develop more rather then "I'm happy; Mom's dead; I'm angry; PLOT". I also like how casually they seem to kill off people (well, haven't seen it with main characters yet, but you never know), giving the impression "anyone can die at any given moment". So far, I feel it's refreshing, while being familiar. |
