| I just watched it, and I am impressed by how utterly dreadful it is. All sorts of defects combine to produce a masterpiece of awfulness. So far, I've not assigned it a numerical rating because it is so bad that it deserves far worse than a 1, but at the same time it succeeds so well in being entertainingly god-awful that it deserves a 10. I actually like the style of art, particularly the backgrounds; the art gives it a nice, gloomy atmosphere. However, the animation is beyond horrible, and the fight scenes, which try so hard to be exciting, end up falling so flat as to become parodies of themselves. The story could have worked well if it had been fleshed out better, and the characters could have been interesting if they had been given even a little depth. The film is only about 20 minutes long, so it doesn't leave room for an incredibly detailed story, but the time available should be sufficient to present a good story and interesting characters. The soundtrack seems like it is just there to be in the background, and while the music consists of a few classical masterpieces, it isn't timed well. The music seems like it was added as an afterthought. "Mars of Destruction" looks to me like it is trying to be a low-budget film that succeeds by being unique or experimental, but it fails so miserably and perfectly that, in a way, it does succeed. |

| Most inappropriate use of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Ever. It wasn't so bad that it was funny (except in a few places), but it wasn't interesting enough to stop me from being bored either. And the worst thing an anime can be is boring. 3/10. |

| The music, while being the best part of the show, made everything seem so pretentious. Especially the reveal at the end, that was set up less than two minutes earlier by the two guys talking. Everything was boring until then, with horrible animation and no originality, but the combination of the plot twist and the music left me laughing through the credits. Oh god. |
| People tell me to stay away from Boku no Pico but I ended up loving it. I'm adding this to my PTW list and I'll watch it in the near future and there's no one that can stop me. |

People hate it for irrational and subjective reason like because it is gay hantai. However, Pico looks almost like female if you ask me. | I have to admit, all the negative hype around this made me expect more (or less, you could say), but it didn't make me cry in pain or anything, and I don't want to hate on that show just for the sake of it, like many people are willing to do. But still, it was pretty bad, animation-, sound-, characterwise and the story was pretty bad executed. However, the story had potential and if they would have put the twist at the end into a logical way, I would say, with the right budget and studio you could make a nice adaption out of it. But potential is worth nothing when wasted, even Pupa was somehow better. 1/10 |

| I sat there for a full 19 minutes expecting this to become terrible and it never happened. What a disappointment. u.u The story made perfect sense to me; earth is invaded by monsters, citizens of earth have to kill said monsters, and - whoa, surprise twist. The "Ancients" are the true "Earthlings" and the "Earthlings" are actually "Martians!" Amazing! Well, not really, but it's not remotely confusing. It was okay. I wasn't bored. I found the super dated animation slightly charming. I thought the constant barrage of classical music pieces to be an interesting idea that could've been pulled off better but actually worked pretty well. It all worked together to create a very moody atmosphere that I liked pretty well. Moonlight Sonata at the end was just fine. I've seen plenty of anime here that people actually love which are worse than this, namely because they are, for God knows what reason, given full series when they should've been one episode like this is. On the other hand, this could've been pretty solid if it was given a full series. |

| Well, I finally got around to watching this. Honestly, while it was bad, I was expecting worse. The premise of the show is actually alright, and if this was a fleshed out series given to the right hands, I think it could actually be pretty good. As for the OST, sure it was missed placed, but at least the music by itself is fine. In the end, 3/10. If only because there is existing potential. |

| Not that bad actually. Of course you can't do much in a 20 minute ova though, but it had a somewhat concise story, even if it was put together just in the last few minutes. Skelter Heaven is x100 worse than this. |

| Why didn't I watch this before? This is the worst show I have seen in my life. The direction was AWFUL, the plot is garbage, animation is shit, and I could go on forever. The only good thing this show has is some tracks of the ost that are pieces of classical music. Yeah, I'm glad I finally got around watching this. 2/10 |
