Anyways, fuck you, Kirei, for giving her such a painful and meaningless death. Poor girl ;_;

Waver was very cute this ep, great guy^^ Guess I'll search for some Waver X Rider doujinshis ;-P
Yes, Iri is dead.. Q.Q all you want. Well, she was gonna die by the end of the war, be it at Kirei's hand or Kiritsugu's. If anything Kirei gave her a quick death.

Yes. I'd fuck Kirei too.

As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

Really good set up for the next few episodes but everything that happened to Iri was just tragic, she's led a hard life and is just a clone. :(
Damn you Kirei...

Sad that she had to die but would it have made a difference ... I mean killed or not she was gonna die soon anyways, which also makes me curious, why is she malfunctioning during the holy grail war? Wouldn't they have atleast had her life span cover the time when it could be used ... tough not too certain what it is she does anyways.

Ilya is the daughter of Iri and Kiritsugu. She's 8 in Zero because she's 8, and she's 8 in Stay Night because Nasu wanted a killer loli character.

In FS/N Ilya is 18 years old. She's a homunculus so her physical growth is stunted or slowed down.

This is weird.. but that Waver and Rider scene is too sad for me that while Waver gave his commands, I started to cry. And when Rider said he is equal to him... waaaa.... I really love them. They are the only master and servant who seem to be so close to each other.

The episode felt lacking, that scene at the end was kinda pointless.
Iri's finally dead, I'm glad. She was really annoying and made for some of the most boring, meaningless conversations ever.

No Waver just sucks at the moment.

Eh...Iri was destined to die, that is the point of Kiritusgu's conflict with his ideal. And it is better to die form Kirei than from Kiritsugu.

Damn Kirei that's bull**** of you killing Irisviel, all because of Kiritsugu's views of ending the Holy Grail without conflict. Kiritsugu better prepares himself to fight off Kirei and gets his revenge.

How nice of Rider became friends with Waver, whether master or not he still wants to bond with him. Becoming my favorite character in my list.

Wow the ending scene from Iri's view, quite an unexpected one.

And doesnt anyone realize that Kirei did Kiritsugu a favor by being the one to kill her?It makes sense for Kiristugu to get revenge for not being the one to kill her...yeah...

Broskandar was great again, and bro-grandpa too.
Waver was kind of stupid for using up all 3 command spells, but I get what he meant. Too bad it's probably not gonna change anything and Rider will die :(

Poor Iri, though it was destined to happen sooner or later :/

So...Kirei's motivation now is to just fuck up whatever Kiritsugu wants or does...
Why? Because he can and he envies that Kiritsugu has human traits while Kirei doesn't... Okay...

Rider has very little mana.Waver did a smart move.

Kirei has human traits. He just doesnt like them as much as his bad side. And if he wants the grail he HAS to beat Kiritsugu.Your hate is too strong.

Amazing episode.

1: RIDER AND WAVER AND THEIR FAKE GRANDPARENTS FTW FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER. If this was up to popular vote, I'm sure they'd win the Grail. I can't imagine Waver dying so please no show please

2: The homunculus part was creepy, but awesome, even though it seems to be hinting at some secret. The Grail is evil or something? For that reason, I feel like "no fighting ever" is such an interpretable request that it could lead to ending all life to end strife, if the Grail were a cruel construct. So shitastic Kirei had a point.

At first I thought waver was going to be an ignorant kid like that kid in stay night who had assassin.........but really he is a good kid at heart and its thanks to rider that happened ....I mean

Rider is big
And
Waver is small

Rider has confidence
And
Waver is a bit of a mouse

I just think these two are a perfect match .....cause it's all thanks to rider that waver has opened his heart and is a better person.

Here's to rider and waver......let's hope they win against Gilgamesh and win the grail........good luck guys

Enter Dark Irisviel.

I didn't like how she died, it was like her life ended for nothing (even though I know Kotomine will use her against Kiritsugu and Gil against Saber). It was meant as shocker but there was no shock, her death was too random for me. It's bit of surprise to me that she still retained her function as a Grail, even in death (and I find it illogical for Kirei to get rid of her as he couldn't possibly know that her life functions are not needed for ritual - he was risking to thwart Grail summonning. But seeing that he doesn't have any interest in it, it could be he simply didn't care)

Also, shouldn't all memories be transfered to another Grail vessel in the moment of actual Grail vessel death? That means Illya? We don't know how concept of consciousness works for homunculi (or rather how Einzberns insert it into vessel) as that was never explained properly but as of now Iri is effectively dead (thus reverted to mere tool) so why is her mind still lingering inside the Grail? Does it mean that her soul was captured by it in the moment of her death?

Rest of the episode I liked how Waver stopped being the master after that talk with grandpa. He has to be the only one during Grail Wars who realized no wish can be your salvation. I wonder how he ends, I would wish him a happy end but seeing how everyone's dying I don't see it likely.

Saber still being overlooked by Kiritsugu, in my eyes he is such a moron and his twisted view of the world is fake. I almost favor Kotomine for winner by now.

How was it random? Kiritsugu says right there in the first episode that he knows he'll be the cause of her death. To be a vessel for the Grail means to have an extremely limited lifespan anyway.

Also, shouldn't all memories be transfered to another Grail vessel in the moment of actual Grail vessel death?

Why would that ever happen?
And I mean that in the most sexually painful way possible.

Kirei doesnt care about her either,he even tried to kill her in season 1.The only reason she captured her was to learn for Kiritsugu. Then he was useless.

The homunculi have access to the memories of Justeaze. That is all.The dream at the end were visions from the grail.
