I have to agree on your 2nd paragraph, something just changed so dramatically that I didn't get any feeling that I was watching Another anymore. And as I said before: "we still have the mystery of why the calamity exists in the first place." |

| That was a disappointing episode. Great deaths and action, but still no explanation of what the calmality itself actually is. The rest of the episodes were awesome though, I'll give it 8 out of 10. |

| @luccide Chibiki explained that the old couple were the grandparents of one of the killed classmates and they were already psychical ill before they even arrived, they probably wanted to "take revenge" or something like that. Kinda stupid that going to the inn actually made it only worse. The woman put on the first of course, but I'm sure that was clear. |
| There is no explanation probably because they are planning season 2. If they explained it now that would mean that someone knows the cause and everything about the curse, which of course is not possible and there is no such character in the anime. So how can they explain it? With a little text? That would be stupid. Explanation would also mean that the person who knows everything about the curse would also know how to stop it, and if we saw that in season 1 than there would be no chance for season 2. So shut up and be happy since there is 90% chance for S2. |

| Urgh. The identity of the Another would have been fine if they freaking told us that Reiko and Mikami were the same person. Students were the primary candidates for being the Another, so no harm done, right? I don't buy that "they withheld information coz it's important to the story" crap. It just felt completely random, like wtf. Both Sakakibara and Reiko never even hinted at this and I sure as heck would have snapped if my dear aunt got clubbed, teacher or not. If they just told us this in one of the first episodes, I bet most people would forget it by the end. *facepalm* Reiko + irrational behavior of all characters + horror deteriorating into gore fest = lower rating. However, I have to admit it was entertaining and not sleep inducing at all, so 5/10 from me. I expected something better. :( |

There is going to be a sequel to the novel, written by Ayatsuji himself, tentatively titled Another 2. I think there's a misunderstanding here, because he's writing the sequel in addition to the spinoff, Another ~episode S. Two novels. |

The most important rule said by her is to separate personal issues from the school. He just obeyed what she said, what's wrong is you guys not understanding the details more. Moreover, Mikami-sensei was the first one to do the rule of the "Non-existent", when Kouichi was set to be one of the non-existent she ignores him at school when Kouichi greeted her on the stairs remember? But when their at the house she allows him to talk with her. Don't tell me you didn't notice that? |

| OMG HOW STUPID! The last episodes of Another were really BAD... Or at last the main-characters were the biggest idiots you could find. In the end of episode 10 Misaki said SHE KNEW THE DEAD PERSON! But... 1) As stupid as she is she never told anyone - even when everyone was targetting her 2) Sakakibara was to stupid to ask her again So she was the most stupid character in the whole anime (stupid, but still moe Oo) But finally I can put this series aside... |

| Solid 4/10 thanks to retarded spoiler suckers mac doucheballs who spoiled the manga or novel or whatever that reiko=mikami=another. Did Michael Bay suddenly directed the last 2 episodes? Things exploded every 10 seconds, students acting so blase and doll-like...A student runs towards the door and the pillar falls straight on him- wow that's straight out of B horror movie. I'm impressed on hints like grandfather and parrot, but to go as far as making person A looks like person B, ...in the work place?? Why not make reiko the librarian, that's more of a pleasant surprise. Shallow characters, Misaki refuses to stand up for herself...and not telling who the another is despite after several deaths for simple reason: what good will it do. Who killed mikami? what's with the librarian told he ran away? In fact, why did he came back to the house? And so there's no significance to the titles forming the components of a doll? Actually, whatever. |

| I took my time to see this finale... Look at how crazy that was. XD I really enjoyed that ride. Lots of people posting in so little time so I suppose more people liked it too. Cue to that Xzibit mem saying "Yo dawg! I heard you like a twitst, so I placed a twist inside the biggest antecipated twist of the story so you can get your mindblow while being extra mindblowed" (seriously, what was that?! XD) They played with the "only six faces" trope! XDDDDD http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OnlySixFaces (and they trolled that once again in the end, by putting some look-alike of Sakakibara as the one who killed her and made lots of people here mistaken them both XD). | Unfortunately I got spoiled that Reiko would have a very important role in the end, but her being Mikami-sensei was surprising. I don't really mind that they "cheated", felt like I was one of the students. I'm satisfied with the ending, good finale, Mei and Sakakibara-kun got to live and possibly having a future together 5/5. While there are one or two bloody anime, it's always nice to have a new addition. I looked forward to every episode every week, it was a great ride. Sure, it had plotholes and some clichés that didn't add to the show, but overall, I'm giving it an 8/10. |
Ayatsuji Yukito announced on his twitter that he will write a spin-off novel of Another titled "Another ~ episode of S" (tentative). He is also planning to write a sequel to the main story. An OVA of Another will be released in May. The past story of Mei and her cousin Fujioka Misaki will be revealed. Igarashi Hiromi will voice Misaki. He is also planning to write a sequel to the main story I'm happy... |

| Nice ending but i still don't know why people are dying in the calamity just because of a dead person, who have no reason to curse the whole class to death. There's gotta be a deeper meaning or the Truth probably in the sequels. Looking forward to it. |

So we might get a sequel manga/anime adaptation too. Also, I wouldn't fret too much, before that year they actually had managed to find a way to keep the calamity from starting for several years (the non-existent student rule). The reason it began again was because the extra in 1998 wasn't an student this time, it was an extra teacher, so the non-existent student rule was useless (they had to make a non-existent teacher for it to work). And considering one of the dead people in 1998 was the homeroom teacher it can happen agan so they have to be careful.Leon-Gun said: Magito said: What do you mean?
