| Depends. If it just screams ANIME then no, but if it's something classy or something people will recognize, then sure. My ringtone right now, though not anime, is the Prelude from Final Fantasy IV. It's just a simple tune that Final Fantasy fans will recognize but to everyone else it just sounds like a normal ringtone. You see what I mean? |

| My default ring is the 1st opening from Brynhildr in the Darkness. I have a different ringtone for each contact so I can tell who's calling without looking. Some of the others are anime related too, not openings or endings but other tracks from OSTs. A Certain Magical Index-"Overdrive" RE:Creators-"Layers" Fairy Tail-"Dragon Force" Naruto Shippuden-"Benibara" Having distinct ringtones that probably only I would have is also useful for knowing it's your phone that's ringing when you're with a bunch of people. |

| Currently none but i customize different ringtones for all the frequent contacts that has some kind of music that reminds me or describes my reaction of them. Would not mind using an opening or ending provided it isn't bad and doesn't seem whack . i would prefer using anime osts instead |

| I hate incoming call's ringtone with lyrics, so at best instrumental version. But I've never used one from an OP/ED before, it's always something's OST. Currently this, and it's been my ringtone for years now. |

| I have a few clip variations of Lilium from Elfen Lied, and my most recent one is a clip from ED #2 (Amadare no Uta) from Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou. When it comes to ringtones, I absolutely hate it when the ringtone just abruptly stops in the middle of a verse or chorus. So finding an acceptable clip of anime music that is 30 seconds or less, is not so easy. |
 You're never too old to watch anime. If I ever stop watching anime, check my pulse I'm likely dead. I wake up with coffee & anime, I go to sleep with coffee & anime. Sorry if my sarcasm is bad, it's not my first language. |
| The first opening of Brynhildr in the Darkness is my ringtone for 1 year now but it's an instrumental song so you won't recognize it as an anime song (except you know it of cours). However I don't think I will ever set a ringtone with japanese voices (since I prefer instrumental ringtones anyway)... |
