| Felt the emotion but still no cry. I feel really sorry for Anjou it must have been hard for her to confess like that. I wish Mennma could somehow show herself to all of them even if its for a little bit. |

| soo many breakdowns :( the hardest was definitely Naruko. having to admit that she felt happy Jintan didn't like Menma, at the same time disgusted that she actually felt that way. not to mention Jintan running, pretty much confirms he does like her. Jintan's parent is awesome, he might not look he cares about his son, but deep down i think he understands what he son feels. i still think he should be a little strict and force him to work more(but it's good he's working now) Jintan knows, he himself should fulfill Menma's wish. he was picked because he was the one that can see Menma. good to see some insight about Menma's brother :) guess he hated her sister(during the first episode) because he was assigned to this kind of mess. and what the hell everyone turned a 180 to Jintan just because of that call. at least Menma tried to show that she is real, only be seen by Jintan :P next episode about Tsurumi!!! |

| I was thinking through the whole show up to this point why she wouldn't just do something like that to prove her existence in the first place, but I guess it would be over too quickly if that happened eh? Oh well, at least she has now, and it's getting really interesting! |

| Menma finally decided to let everyone know she is there. If she did it from the beginning we would have never went though the phase where everyone decides whether or not to believe Jinta, which was very important IMO. Anaru finally tells Jinta how she felt that day and now. I kind of wish he had said something instead of walking away. From the preview it looks like that will be addressed next time. I feel bad for Menma's brother too. He seems like he is strong however. That was a nice scene with him and Jinta. Poppo is also a great friend by sticking up for Jinta throughout. |

| Well nice way for Menma to get people's attention. First the phone call, then the magazines falling down at Poppo's job, The diary falling down, and the message she left in her diary. It took 8 episodes but hey 3 episodes left so I guess it's all good. Now Jinta grow up man, Anjou was crying on your shoulders and then you ignore her pleas. That's low Jinta, real low, never make a girl cry and if you do console her. Jinta deserves a real beating for making Anjou cry. Last hurray for Menma!!! |

| I didn't know that is the feelings of Menma's mother, i feel sorry for her. And Jintan only cares about Menma and he doesn't understand about Naruko's feelings, that's unfair. Its great now that everyone knows Menma's existence, I almost cried. |
| Well it hasn't been living up to my expectations so far but the end of this episode was great. Finally, the show is edging towards Menma actually doing something in front of the gang to show her existence. Why didn't she do it sooner. I was teary-eyed but I hope for a much heavier emotional impact as we move to the end. |

| Well at least we know about Menma's mom being sorrow of her daughter's death. Also with Anaru revealing her thoughts about Jintan when he fainted. Damn, that powerful scene at the end, looks like everyone knows that Menma is here. Nice ending touch for the song. Things are picking up now. |

| Ahhhhh, finally!! It took a long time but Menma finally decided to reveal herself! :D God, I think that Anaru declaration was the saddest I ever saw. It was such the worse timing, yet she had to do it... That scene between Jin-tan and his father really touched me. It reminded me of that scene of Clannad AS, if you saw it you know what I'm talking about. Man, that scene from Clannad made me cry so much. I think I teared a bit from that father scene, Jin-tan and his father complicity is really amazing. So I did saw right in my last post, about Menma mom. She just couldn't accept that those child continue to live on while her daughter was dead. That's so fucking sad :( |

| I feel like an asshole for thinking that menma's mom didn't even care. Sorry. And finally! If menma had just done that in the beginning this whole misunderstanding would have all been solved. Now we only have 3 eps left and a movie. And I realized this last ep but forgot to mention it. The show's called the flower we saw that day and menma's wish is to send a letter to kami-sama via fireworks. flower = hana fireworks = hanabi they have the same root word hana. | So Menma's mom wanted them to die with Menma...? That sounds pretty messed up. I'm glad Menma's brother is a bit more sensitive. It'd be nice in a way if he could see Menma, but I guess that's wishful thinking. Anjou confessed. Jinta doesn't know what to think of her anymore. Jinta's dad is pretty cool. I like him. Despite the social pressure, he just loves his son and acts like nothing's wrong. Considering that Jinta is already about to crack under his own problems, having a dad like that helps. :) I don't think Menma even realized that most of the others didn't believe she was there until she overheard Poppo on the phone. She got to work fast, didn't she? The cold calls and then the diary. Finally! Even Yukiatsu is hard pressed to deny that. Can't wait for the next episode! <3 (I really love the OP and ED too. They fit this show perfectly.) |

| I probably should've cried but didn't. I guess all of those intense melodramatic moments from previous anime have finally warn down my empathy. But still, this was a very sad and very good episode. Jintan's father is a good man. |

| FINALLY THEY REALIZE THAT MENMA EXISTS JESUS CHRIST. I really don't understand why I can't get myself to like this show. Everyone else seems to love it. I guess it's partially because I just don't like slice of life anime in general I just can't take the emotional breakdowns seriously at all. |

The part of the opening with the zoom out shot of everyone in the secret base looking at Menma always makes my heart fall a little; it would be so happy if everyone could get back together like they used to, but we pretty much know that that's not going to happen. |
