| We haven't seen much of Trafalgar Law and it will be interesting to see what he does, i really like his enigmatic character, but i also want him to develop. Blackbeard is now stupidly powerful which is ridiculous, i mean i thought Aizen was over powered lol, but Sengoku looked pissed. Next week a filler then? |

| Law's entrance was as epic as I expected it to be! and FUCK YEAH Crocodile is so awesome, I love the guy, so bad-ass and keeps appearing in such crucial moments! And I still think that the power of the three Admirals is probably the most fearsome power in the entire world, from what we have seen so far. Freezing ice, lightening-fast light and havoc-wrecker magma make for some very, very hard to resist powers. And holy crap, I don't remember Jinbei being so badly injured! The guy got a whole hole in his chest and becomes lethally injured as well, this episode still manages to catch me off guard with Akainu's blasts and Crocodiles intervention (taking into account I've already read this!) |

| Good episode, I expected Law to show up considering his appearance earlier in the arc at Saoboady. I did not, however, expect him to be a doctor. That's one badass doctor... Akainu is ridiculously powerful and, yeah, it's pretty obvious the Admiral's are the most powerful on the field. I thought that was established earlier when two of them were first introduced? |

| Ok amazing stuff happened! Crocodile was a badass and he is actually helping Luffy (I like that!). The Whitebeard commanders are protecting Luffy (I really want to see more of those guys in the future, they are awesome! especially Marco!) and Law come out of nowhere (I didn't see that coming) to help Luffy too. I am wondering why he likes him so much? I like them as allies so I am not complaining :D Amaya-dono said: "I'm a doctor!" And fangirls melted. Law <3 Meh... | Everyone is getting wrecked! Jinbe also got Akainu's fist through his chest, but aren't Fishmen generally more tenacious than normal humans, anyway? I always wondered how Luffy got that huge scar on his chest and it turns out that Akainu gave it to him. Not only did that ass hat kill Ace right in front of him, but he gave him a scar that'll probably act as a constant reminder. Ouch. Wasn't expecting Law of all people to turn up, but hey he's a doctor so I doubt he's just gonna leave a ton of decent people to die after seeing all the brutal footage at Sabaody. I burst out laughing at his ship though...a yellow submarine lmao Law is a hipster pirate XD Probably a long shot, but I can't help but wonder if things would've ended differently for Ace had the Heart Pirates showed up sooner ;-; On another note, Crocodile is now entirely redeemed in my mind. He has done a lot of good and saved a lot of ass this arc. |

| For a man with a plan like Blackbeard, who was committed to his goal even if it meant killing a nakama and waiting years, it's so shocking to me how unprepared he is. He took that splash from Magellan like he didn't see it coming, he nearly died to Whitebeard, and Sengoku got the jump on him. He is so unprepared despite having such a thorough plan. That said he did change it on the fly for Ace and he is good at just going head first into things so just because he made a good plan does not mean he needs to be thoughtful about it. He certainly seems to brute force things. I am shocked that the admirals aren't helping Sengoku from what we've seen. Akainu is a man on a mission to end both Roger and Dragon's sons but we saw Kizaru and Aokiji stopping randoms or helping catch Luffy. It feels weird, they know what's happening right? Either way I wanted to note that Sengoku felt heroic this episode. He was like a shining beacon of hope for his people, he refused to give up and when everyone was feeling horrible about the beacon of the worlds safety crumbling he brought the morale up refusing that outcome. Which makes it all the more interesting to cut to Coby's painful experience seeing the bloodshed around him. This was was never that meaningful, it was about a blood line for crying out loud. However, now Ace and Whitebeard are dead and the Whitebeard's are still being slaughtered. Sengoku seemed heroic but this mission to crush all of the fleeing enemies after all meaning to do so is gone was just gross. At this point they are killing them to show off their power and to kill pirates and Coby realized that and it crushed him. He showed a lot of resolve this arc to stand up against Luffy and to see if he acts again should be interesting. Regardless, it made me think deep down to what Coby would be like as an admiral. Imagine a cool, and strong Coby, brave enough to confront all he finds unjust, even his fellow admirals, yet still an admiral with an idealistic sense of justice, still an admiral full of compassion even for his foes. That would be a nice breath of fresh air for the admirals, even if Aokiji isn't awful like the other two. Then I guess we can break down the rest in one sequence. Akainu roasts Ivan and Inazuma and burns through Jimbei to Luffy but doesn't pierce Luffy's body. Jimbei defending Luffy, growling at Akainu, and even body blocking Luffy was quite powerful. Then Crocodile shows up to save the two of them demanding Jimbei protects Luffy better from my reading and to not let the navy go any further. Then Buggy catches the unconscious Jimbei and Luffy and then Law shows up to save Luffy. Like OP said, this has turned completely into the save Luffy arc. I found Law's last lines in the Crunchyroll subs quite weird, so I checked the manga and it came off way differently. In the Crunchy subs he says "Luffy will one day be an enemy but a desirable relationship is a relationship" whereas the manga says "we may be enemies but we share a bond", making it seem more like saying "an undesirable relationship is a relationship" would have been better. As in he's saying this is not good for me but I'm doing it due to our friendship and the connection we've made. As for Crocodile, he still perplexes me. Perhaps he's full on Whitebeard's side now fighting to make sure the navy can't get their way any longer. He did mention "we can make him suffer as we please while he lives". I also loved Buggy's delayed reaction to Jimbei calling him red nose. The fact he didn't just leave Jimbei and Luffy behind and questioned who Law was seemed nice to me on some level. He has slow reactions, and his people were applauding him so all nice intentions may not be true, however that did seem like a sparkle of kindness in Buggy to me. Just maybe. P.S. If that punch scars Luffy like I think it does it will serve as a constant visual reminder of what happened here and as a reminder of who did it on an individual level. |

| Surprisingly enough, I'm cheering for Sengoku. It must be because of how awesome of a power being a golden Buddha is~ Akainu's become more monstrous than ever before thanks to how desperate he was to kill Luffy no matter who gets in his way. It's safe to say that if it weren't for his friends, he would've been a goner a lot earlier and it was a huge relief that Trafalgar actually went to Marineford to help him out! |

| Poor Jinbei.. I love that guy! I hope he pulls through. Who would have guessed Croco-kun would save Luffy at least twice? This would seem unimaginable back in the Alabasta arc. Definitely a useful guy to have on your side. Even Buggy is starting to get creeped out by his fanboys now. That made me genuinely LOL. Also wondering how Magma-douche can fight on a sea of Ice? Surely it would all be melting? I know it's a cartoon and all but yeah.. Would be interesting to see the three Admirals take on Blackbeard. I think Kizaru alone could F- him up due to pure speed. |

| Man I could see senduka dying. Blackbeard OP. Though if the 3 admirals at once attacked him. Then it’s a toss up. Jinbe is so cool. I love this dude a lot. I’m getting some feeling he might join the straw hats. Which would be amazing. He might even jump to second over Zoro in pure strength. Gosh Crocdile being one the best characters and saving Luffy twice is so wild. Then Targa Law showing up was something I did not expect. They kept showing the clouds and i expected dragon as it seems like he has some type of flying ship. But didnt expect law. |
