| sorry about the triple post... I was having issues of my post showing up. I doubt that the series will have the "Nice Boat" ending. It may have something do a parody, like the character(s) on a boat at the end. Not so tragic, but happy. You never know what to expect with this show. |

Then there's the ''oh, let's try and make everyone happy'' stand point of it. Which still doesn't make sense, because there is no pleasing ''everyone''. The only thing that makes sense out of all this is that they gained profit and will blow it trying to gain more profit at the expense of the viewers satisfaction. Oh and, I don't know which site you got your info from but IIRC, Kirino and Kuroneko are tied for first place in the LN. Also, if Kirino really is hated, why the heck would they make this? Agreed with the novel Kirino =/= anime Kirino idea. Judging from sparse comments here and there concerning how certain scenes were cut out (i.e. the end of the Ayase arc had an interesting scene though that somewhat focuses more on Kyousuke's perspective on Kirino) thus arguably inhibiting proper chraacter development in the anime adaptation. Hopefully she's a bit more fleshed out in the Light Novels but I think the anime adaptation failed to successfully capture that aspect and now they're trying to run away with original endings. =/ |

The anime makes her out to be a flat out unreasonable bitch, though the anime hasn't progressed to the current state of the novel yet either where Kirino begins to learn how to not be a bitch all the time to someone who helps you. |

| As long as the true end is wincest, go AIC! Lol, so I guess only I love Kirino for what she is in the anime Dx She described it perfectly herself : 100% tsun, 0% dere. I refuse to witness yet another tsundere showing her dere side too F***** early on. I prefer it this way. Not to mention Kirino is so awesome. Except for the tsun part, we are exactly the same on terms of fangirlism, watching pervy stuff, having nosebleeds when a cute girl appears. And that novel of hers cracked me up, she stole my idea xD And anyways, hating on Kirino is one thing, but supporting Manami is another O_o I mean, look at her! SO PLAIN AND BORING! What's so exciting about this?? I prefer Ayase over her, at least she has potential for yandere and it might get fun... And believe me I TRIED to like Manami, she is voiced by Ritsu's seyuu, who is my most fav character ever... It just didn't work. |

With those two points said, I never said anything about the LN Kirino. I stated most people hated the Kirino the anime showed us. Maybe the LN Kirino is more cute, who am I to know. But I certainly have seen way then enough posts suggesting the majority of users who do post at the anime discussion threads hate Kirino. Remember it's their opinion, there's no reason to feel like your pride is being assaulted just because other people hate the character you love. |

| I'm definitely rooting for a Kuroneko end. She's set up for it, too, with the recent developments in the relationship between her and Kyousuke, as well as a peek into her life on the weekends in episode 9. XD Probably just wishful thinking though. The series, overall, has been so-so, especially with the whole main plot kind of ending after a few episodes, but I definitely started paying more attention when they started to flesh Kuroneko out more. Because she's pretty much without a doubt one of the most popular characters in oreimo. The total lack of development for her (thanks to Kirino triggering the exact same defensive reaction from her OVER and OVER) was disappointing. First we have shit loads of complains about: "I didn't get mai waifu ending!" or "This ending sucks" or "I want moar endings *¬*" And now when you guys are getting what you asked for, you people go forth BASHING IT?! Oh come on. This is ridiculous. I applaud the idea of giving an anime multiple endings. Its as original as it could get (for an anime). Not to mention you guys are whining BEFORE the episodes even aired. I can understand bashing something after forming your own opinion by seeing it, however hating a couple of episodes that didn't even air yet is just plain retarded. |
