Going on 25 here. To be honest I've always liked animation in general, and my tastes aren't limited to anime ( I also really enjoy animated shorts, whether from pixar or some independent unheard of animation studio, and I often go to the movies to see animated films etc) so my opinion might be a bit biased, but I can't ever see myself growing out of anime. Sure, my tastes evolve, but I'm pretty sure I'll still be watching anime in 10-15-20 years.
Yes, I'm 可愛い as fuck.

There are a lot of adults, including adults over 40 years old, who still watch and love anime. People who attend anime conventions, for example, are probably adults with good jobs because it cost a lot of money for the convention ticket and the cosplay, as well as the collectables, etc., so I imagine most of those people have good jobs, and a lot of them are adults.

Of course I would, but I'll probably look for deeper, more seinen anime

I started watching anime when I was in high school. I'm in college now and I still love watching anime. Granted, I don't have nearly as much free time as I did before (which might contribute to other people falling out of the hobby) but I still try to watch whenever I can. This usually means late night binges on weekends and staying up until the sun rises, though.

But as far as I can tell, I don't think I'll ever want to stop watching anime. I went to Comic Con for the first time this summer, and I had a blast. There are so many people who like anime (a lot of them older than me) so I think it's safe to say there are a lot of adults who have continued to enjoy it.

I mean, it's no different from asking someone if they'll ever stop watching TV. Anime is such a diverse medium, it's not like you can ever really get bored of it (maybe if you can't ever find the right shows). For most people, it's more of a past-time than a casual hobby; something that's just a regular part of their life.

I'm an adult, I have responsibilities, and I like it, so to me it's not a "would" anymore, it's already a fact.

Very recently I turned 21, guess society considers me an adult now or rather young adult. I still love anime, maybe more than ever and I don't plan to stop. Hope I will contine to enjoy anime with 30, 40 or even 50 xD

I like how you're asking the question with the precedence that people are not adults here. But yeah, I definitely stopped enjoying anime as much as I did when I was 12-17. I will still enjoy favorites of mine despite age, I think?

As someone in their 50's, I can certainly say that I absolutely hate being unable to stop watching anime.
All those ecchi anime I've watched have burned permanent boob images in my big screen TV, and now I can't invite friends over to watch the big game.[/sarcasm]

You're never too old to watch anime.
If I ever stop watching anime, check my pulse I'm likely dead.

I wake up with coffee & anime, I go to sleep with coffee & anime.

I actually fell out of love with anime and manga during my highschool years. It was only after my 18th birthday when I started getting really back into it probably more so than I had ever before.

I'm 21, began watching anime the summer before I started high school, and I still watch anime. Deciding not to watch anime because you reached adulthood is a silly reason. You may not be able to watch as much, but that's life, I guess...

Pretty much exactly how I feel. I mean, heck, I still watch cartoons. The visual storytelling that can only be told through animation is something that is severely underappreciated and is something I cherish immensely.

I can safely say it's in my blood.
My mother always enjoyed Calimero, Alfred J Quack and several other co-produced shows.
I don't expect myself to ever grow out anime.

My taste changes all the time and perhaps one day I won't like the genres anymore which I currently enjoy and hold dear to me.
But I don't think I'll ever grow out of animation and anime specifically.
Perhaps one day when I become too old to read subtitles or when I obtain dementia/alzheimers/ALS then I may grow out of it simply because I won't be able to understand it anymore. But I don't expect to be 40 and hate anime or find it childish all of a sudden.

I think when people are young they're more inclined to give lots of anime a go, as you get older I think it becomes a little harder to find anime that really impress you. I took a break from anime for two years but I'm back now on the hunt again for stuff I'll enjoy.
I do think as you get older that perhaps you get disillusioned with a lot of stuff that comes out season on season, it seems a lot of it is very throwaway to me. This is just my opinion, however when I find something I really love it reminds me how much enjoyment anime can give me.

Of course I find anime to be quite enjoyable im not sure why someone would stop watching just because of the fact they've grown up a little bit. I mean I could understand not having as much time to watch it but quitting on it entirely is something that I don't think is possible. That could be a bad thing now that I think about it...

Pretty sure cosplay shows plenty well that just because you become an adult doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying something you love. The people that tell you to "grow up" are just trying to force their own miserable views of reality onto you. That or they genuinely don't know that the people in movies are all acting a role for the viewers entertainment. The majority of the movies people love never actually took place in reality. They we're just fictional characters played by real people. No different from anime. Games too can be viewed that same way.

I will be 27 soon and I still love anime, games, cosplay etc. Age doesn't make a bit of difference.

First, I had to have an understanding of what my tastes were, that takes some time, and I'm still learning/refining that.
So does learning how far, and in which areas I can stray from my initial "comfort zone".

To answer your question.. to an extent, yes it has. My tastes have expanded a little to include stuff I likely would have disregarded when I first got hooked on anime.

You're never too old to watch anime.

I'm 26, and surely, a lot of things have changed since I was 17-18 (when I seriously got into it). I've become so much more picky, and I tend to drop a lot of series in favour of my actual adult life. But there're still shows I want to watch every week, those I fangirl over and even sometimes make AMVs with. And my desire to watch some older anime appreciated by many fans never went anywhere, I just need to find time.
