| Amongst all the games I've played, Squall from FF8 is my favorite. His character really stands out to me in the game and I loved his rivalry with Seifer. Those battles against Seifer are my favorite in the game. Lately, Balthier (or Ffamran, if you will) and Gabranth (or Noah) of FF12 are growing on me. They (along with Basch) are the stand out characters to me in FF12. Though I find Vayne and Cid both to be great villains, I thin Gabranth plays his role as a villain to Basch really well. It helps that the dubbing of the game is one of the best, if not the best, dub I've ever heard. |

| Altair - Assassin's Creed: He's simply bad ass incarnate. Not to mention in the later games he's revealed to be a very deep thinker, him and I share very similar beliefs/philosophies. If I'm allowed another, Sam Fisher - Splinter Cell (the old games, everything before Conviction): imo the king of stealth, his voice (by Michael Ironside) is a flawless representation of his manliness, and his darker, witty humor is always a hoot. Especially when he's interrogating enemies or talking to Lambert. |

| Here are some of my favorites Yuri Hyuga (Shadow Hearts series) - He's a badass, he's hilariously quirky in that badass way, and despite his disposition, he's a great person and a great series lead. Dante (Devil May Cry series) - Pretty much the same as Yuri, except maybe not as genuine in his kindness? Still one of my favorite characters. Bartz Klauser (Final Fantasy V) - Hmm, I find it a little hard to believe of all my favorite Final Fantasy characters, he would be my favorite. Then again, he's a little more "whimsical" than your typical Final Fantasy lead. He's not emo like Cloud or Squall, he's not a whiny bitch like Tidus, he's not forgettable like Van, and he's got a personality unlike Lightning. Zidane from FFIX is a close second though. Sophia (Tales of Graces-f) - This is a bit of a new addition, but I am absolutely in love with her character. She takes every amnesiac trope from every anime and video game ever made and puts it to shame. Then again, she sort of feeds off the overall cast of that game and it ends up making her into a hilarious character. |
