| Maybe sci-fi, detective and mystery in general but there are not many of those, even less good ones. I like comedies too, but rarely they make them suitable for my taste. |

| My favourite anime is action mixed with comedy. Another favourite is sports. Other favourites are slice of life, romance, comedy, music, mystery mixed with thriller, or thriller on it's own. My favourites in quantity, is romance. |

| I think I like sports/game anime the best (lumping them together because they're very very similar). Something about the shounen-type progression "from chumps to champs" never fails to get me excited. |
| I have a number of them and it's difficult to really give any one supremacy over the others, but in general I love in equal measure, Thriller, Drama, Slice of Life, Horror, and (transgressive) Romance. Close runners up could be Adventure, Historical, and Sci-Fi, only weighed down by the amount of subpar content that seems to exist in them. To be highly specific, a dramatic Slice of Life with a tragic or transgressive romance story or a thriller with a complex multi-level conflict with factions motivated by clearly defined opposing goals and rival ideologies, with existential stakes on which the fate of a whole people or way of life rests, would be my favorite of all. |

| Sports- I like them for some of the reasons I like battle shounen, the characters training to get better, learning moves/techniques epic "battles", comradeship (in team ones) and rivalry. Theres also something interesting about seeing sports from a different perspective and learning more about sports than I ever would have imagined there would be to know. It also seems like the genre where i can almost always tell if I'm going to like it or not, which is probably most of them if we don't count shows like Free! (Dont care about sports IRL other than playing football and basketball when I was younger) Comedy- pretty simple, love laughter and all the fun that comes with comedy shows, especially darker comedies like Dorohedoro because I like dark things, though my love for dark comedy is obvious looking at my name |

| Hard to say since I like a lot of stuff but battle shounen & sports are among the easiest ones to enjoy for me, even if they aren't particularly good. Other genres I like more when they're well done but I'm also more critical towards them and don't enjoy them as easily, like mystery or sci-fi or psychological drama. |

| Best: Action and echii by far Worst: Romcom, comedy I don't hate comedy, but most action and echii anime have better comedy than pure comedy anime . JoJo for example has better comedy than almost any comedy focused anime. |
