| Really beautiful end for Subaru and Emilia, rip Betelguese the true heroine of this series. The final artwork was 10/10. Glad to see more salty LN readers when the ending they wanted would've been awkward at best for the way anime is done nowadays. |

| I enjoyed it. I haven't read the source material yet, but I know it's not the same. What anime ever goes 100% with the source material? Each series can only do so much in time and try to keep it as canon and enjoyable as possible. Between the music, unique characters, artstyle, story, and more, I give a 10/10. Everything was wrapped up pretty well. Judge an anime for what it is, not for how it relates to the source material. |

| Really good finale. Obviously not what it could have been, but i'm still satisfied. Although ending it while Subaru wants to say something is just a slap in the face. Overall an incredible ride, crazy good and hopefully a season 2 PRONTO! 10/10. |
| Wow, the saltiness here is real. As an anime-only viewer, really thought the show was generally great. Skipped content or not, I don't give a shit. Drama handled nicely without being overly-melodramatic, and plot generally had me curious as to what would happen next. Animation was overall pretty good, too. Though I wished Emilia would've played a larger role as the last moments between her and Subaru didn't really affect me as much as with Rem and Subaru in the second arc. Overall, 8-9/10 idk. Lucky for those who haven't watched the series yet can just marathon it all away. |

| Ahh, I'm so glad it's a happy ending. I've been waiting for Subaru and Emilia to finally get back together, so I'm happy that's how they chose to end it. Plus, for the people complaining, if we aren't sure they are making a second season why would it make sense to end it on a cliffhanger? Sure, Rems arc sounds interesting but unless they are 100% given the a-okay for a second season I don't think it's a smart move. This ending ties everything up really well, and gives them the option to either continue this series or end it here. The only thing I really wish is we got a bit more screen time for Emilia/Subaru.... I want to see more of their interactions since they've been apart most of the series :-(. |

| This was the best ending they could possibaly do. Its not an ending that lets you know its over, but its not an ending that says oh is a second season coming. I say this feels like a ending of a novel volume and I can't wait for the next one. And that's all I could have asked for. 10/10 |

| Ah yes, what a better way to end this than with a cheesy 'romantic' conversation with Emilia, though she was kinda endearing tbh. Overall, unlike almost everyone else I didn't like Re:Zero, Subaru is one of the worst protagonists ever, much of his 'self-awareness' just makes him more annoying. The story was so frustrating to watch, large stretches went by just watching a character gets tortured with no other progression whatsoever. Episode 18 was for me, the only really decent episode. Also, not enough Felt (the real best girl). |
| Excellent ending. Subaru saves Emilia and Betelgeuse has been wiped out of existence. I like the ending scene, although my only gripe is that I didn't get to see Rem anymore in the final episode. ^^" What a brilliant series. Truly an anime worth going to binge through, and I've always been hooked with this series in every episode. I'm gonna miss this series, especially Rem. ;w; I would be very overjoyed if they announce a sequel out of this. But if not, then I'm already satisfied with what I've seen. Thank you! |

Here you go I'm a bit disappointed they didn't show that moment, but nonetheless it was amazing series from start to finish. Easily 10/10. BTW, did I imagine things or Satella voice here  was a bit sad? |

The ending actually doesn't tie any plot threads at all, do we know anything about the witch, or her connection with Subaru and his power? What about the election? Subaru's development and his relationship with Emilia are the only thing that can be said to be satisfyingly concluded. Otherwise all we got are hints of the real meat of the story which is to come. |

| Nice ending. Overall, I'd give it a solid 8/10 I'm guessing all the complaining going on in the thread is simply because we haven't reached the crap they keep spoiling about. Wonder what the announcement or whatever'll be about. |

| So... that's it? Hm... LN are still ongoing? Hope there will be second season, because I still don't get somethings... Even if I prefer Rem over Emilia and I more pro SubaruxRem... and whole romance between SubaruxEmilia is so damn lame... and romance SubaruxRem is much, much better... Oh well, first girl trope. I will don't judge whole series based on that final episode... So from me right now... 8/10 Ps. Rem is the best thing that happen in this series. |

| One of the best ep so far. I pretty love it overall, Emilia won, not surprising to be honest. Subaru fell in love for Emilia since the first episode. I don't know why people are complaining about Rem, she is a support character in this show... and Emilia the main character with Subaru, so without doubt, Subaru chose Emilia. Anyway I love both characters, but prefer Emilia c:. Good ending. Well we need a second season now ! Can't wait :p. |

| Pretty good finale, They ended it well. The fight with Betelguese was pretty entertaining to watch, His maniacal personality is always amusing no matter what situation he is in. I totally wanted Subaru to say "You are truly slothful" to Betelguese xD Lovely reconciliation with Emilia at the end, White Fox went all out with the animation and art there making it look so beautiful. Happy for Emilia that she finally has someone who loves her <3 Subaru and his smooth talks. XD Overall, It's kinda hard for me to put a definitive rating on Re:Zero. I absolutely loved the first half, However the second half with Subaru's whole character issues was so obnoxious to the point I lost all emotional investment in the series, The only thing it had going at that point was the shock factor delivered through gore and obligatory cliffhangers. The extreme amount of edginess on Subaru during that phase was way too unpleasant for me. Even the last few episodes weren't enough to redeem my lost emotional investment in the series. I will not however say I did not enjoy it, I did enjoy the show just that the scale of my enjoyment fell drastically compared to before. Also hats off to White Fox for their outstanding production values, Fantastic OST and directing and if it weren't for them I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the show as much as I did in the second half. 8/10 |

| Where is my Salt???? Seriously speaking, Rem fans and gonna hate this for obvious reasons. Personally, I liked both heroines equally, but think that this choice of ending was a correct one. If they have ended in the way we all expected aka "Salt ending" they would have: 1. Left the story on cliffhanger; 2. Annoyed many fans who have never read WN/LN. |

| Betelgeuse himself was about as salty as everyone who didn't get the scenes they wanted to see. The dude was crying the entire episode, feels bad man. Even Subaru's rejection of Rem didn't hurt as much as Betelgeuse being rejected by Satella. |

They just played it safe (make an ok ending in case they can't make a season 2) that's already a bad sign Imo. |
