Agreed, both the sequence and song are nice. Can't wait for the full version which will be released on July 30.

Actually I find the OP really mediocre, except for the cards sequence, that is quite funny.
The ED instead is much more likeable, at least for me.

The OP has the better sequence while the ED has the better song. They're both so good though that I still haven't skipped the OP/ED once ever since I started this show.

^ YES!

I definitely agree as one of the best, sided with Tokyo Ghoul and Re: Hamatora.

I know everybody has a different taste, but really now?
I see that you are watching ZnT, A/Z, SAO II, AgK and even Re:_Hamatora.
Those clearly have much better OPs, both in animation sequence and music.
Can you really compare Kajiura's work on A/Z, or even Kanno's work on ZnT to this?
Not to mention TK's gorgeous vocals in the OP of Tokyo Ghoul...

Like Akanezora mentioned in an earlier post, this is mediocre at best...

I'll repeat myself again, everybody has a different taste. But sometimes things differ in quality, regardless to someone's taste. This is not a biased or a bashful post.

Clearly? I haven't heard the OPs for Aldnoah.Zero, Re:_Hamatora and Tokyo Ghoul (not really planning to watch them anyways) but I'll definitely go with Rokujouma's OP over any of those.

ZnT's OP: Not a fan of it. Galileo Galilei as a band is much better.
SAO II's OP: Song is alright, gets old a bit fast though. The animation is good but the sequence is average.
AgK's OP: Sounds very amateurish. The song itself is not that bad but the OP sequence is plain lazy.

PS: Yurika best invader.

Now, I have different tastes of music from everyone but I can't really agree when saying this is one of the best OPs of Summer 2014. I can't help but compare it to other OPs out of the Summer 2014 criteria and find it very generic but a bitl catchy. But really, I don't exactly like the "childish" voice that is sung in like every generic harem or romantic comedy but that's just me.

Hell, maybe you like the childish voice that is sung in like every generic harem or romantic comedy but shit, who am I to judge?

Going on the "One of the Best OPs of Summer 2014" and giving rankings to 3 OPs, it would be..

1. Zankyou no Terror - It's mysterious and almost eerie feel of the music just really speaks out and stands out when compared to the other OPs. I didn't really like it at first but it grew to me.

2. Barakamon - This song also stood out to me on how the song felt both energetic and easy going and how the guitars just added flavor to it and really I'm just a sucker for guitars in songs.

3. Hanayamata - Now I am known to be hypocritical.. And that also applies here but it's BECAUSE it has a touch of a Japanese feel to the music when it gets to like halfway of the song and I'm a sucker for those.

Honorable Mentions:

Glasslip - It's OP is very easy going and DEM GUITARS, YO

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun - Guitars. Tis all.

NOTE: I have not seen all OP songs for every show this season.

I agree that AgK's OP is amateurish. It's because Sora Amamiya is a new seiyuu/singer, after all... But this anime's OP is even more amateurish.

It's good to have some singers collaborate with other composers and even perform singles. I believe that Yuuki Ozaki and TK have great voices, so performing outside their bands shouldn't be an issue.

"Heavenly Blue" by Kalafina is amazing. Though it may be more of a promo for their newest album.

On a side note, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun's OP is very catchy and fitting for the anime.
