| Already seeing people complain about this chapter on Twitter. Do they not realise that this is a fast paced series? Animated, this whole chapter could be less than a minute or 2. Part 2 is a slow burn, which is more Fujimoto’s recent stale. I do think the dialogue has been a little repetitive lately though. As for the chapter, amazing double panel spread. Seems like Yoru may be beginning to like Denji too. I though that the horsemen were stronger then primordial, but seeing what falling said, I guess not. Falling is just such a cool devil, probably my favourite primordial so far. Poor guy though that Denji and Asa ran into, he gonna die next chapter |

| Woah. Yoru finally realizes her feelings for Denji and DOESN'T want to turn him into a weapon anymore. Character development!!!! This is what I've been waiting for this whole time!!!!!!!! She can find a new meaning to her life instead of hunting down Pochita!!! But now. She's stabbed in the head. And Yoru/Asa is not a Hybrid like Denji, she can't heal from a wound like that so easily... Something horrible is about to happen. One of the two girls is going to die and I'm certain that it's going to be Yoru. I've also been predicting this the entire time. She's going to sacrifice herself to save Asa OR something fucked up is going to happen with Death possibly reviving Yoru after the fact, but Yoru is transformed into a beast that will attack the two of them, sort of like how Yuko transformed after she was first revived by Death. That's the other thing I've been predicting this entire time is the fight with Chainsaw Man vs. Yoru's more powerful form... I'm horrified to find out what happens next and I think I can wager as to where it is gonna go. |

It’s not a slow burn. It’s literally trash writing… Why? You would have no defence for what feels like 100 chapters of nothing until finally something happens but contradicts Denji’s whole character arc every sub arc within this part.
Let people complain because this series fell off a cliff after part 1.
| @Confused_100 it’s okay young man. You are still to young to understand emotions and depression. You keep playing with your Lego in the corner, okay? Part 2 has had arcs that are S tier, on par with the last 3 arcs of part 1, being Falling Devil and most recently the Aging Devil arc. Part 2 does have its problems, for example I believe we have way too many characters that still haven’t been properly fleshed out and we still have no idea what’s happening with them, such as Yoshida, Katana Man and Quanxi and we have forgotten characters that we haven’t seen return with no mention of them, being Reze and Kishibe. However it has also given us some of the best characters in CSM, being Asa/ Yoru and Nayuta. Part 1 is about the Chainsaw while Part 2 is about the Man. Seeing Denji’s constant state of unease, self-deprivation and depression, and trying to overcome it is great to see. Fujimoto is a writer who cooks over a long period. Goodbye Eri and Look Back are “one-shots” but are basically a whole volume. We are very much at the beginning of something new here in this arc so let the man cook. If you don’t like Part 2, sure that’s fine. But there is no need to comment and reply to my post to be an attention seeking brat. Just keep it to yourself or post your opinions in a review or on Twitter. |

@Yuki_Niji Don't push it bro, the Aging Devil arc was a joke. Part 2 was good only until the Falling Devil arc; the rest is a dragged and uninteresting set of loose plot points that either don't pay off or are forgotten, with some good scenes scattered here and there.
It's also weak character-wise, with the only decent new character being Asa. Yoru is awfully undeveloped, adds no substance to the story, and gets in the way of Denji and Asa's relationship with those shitty ecchi scenes. Nayuta is a huge downgrade from Makima and died before getting any meaningful development, not to mention she was extremely spoiled and annoying.
Also, it's a fallacy to say that "Part 1 is about the chainsaw and Part 2 is about the man." Denji had plenty of personal development in Part 1. He does have a lot of introspection in pt. 2, but very little in the way of progress and is still making the exact same mistakes as in pt. 1, and now Fujimoto seems to be retconning him to care about strangers.
